  Comments: My Fiancé and I loved it! Linelle's place was by far my best AirBnb and i have stayed at 5. The accuracy and cleanliness was great perfect. It was like having your own studio apartment. The amenities were great! The bed was so comfy, shower was hot, seats comfy, super clean. She has stuff to surpass your expectations. Great stay and we will return!

  Comments: Linelle's place was a very comfortable stay. The beach is indeed close by, and if you are inclined to explore up and down Rockaway, it is very close to a Q22 bus stop to do just that. She is a very communicative host who looks out for your comfort and I felt very good at her place.

  Comments: This was a comfortable room just a few blocks to the Boardwalk. I was performing at a summer camp VERY close by so the location was the best for my needs. We had a nice chat about the role of "hosting" and I wish Linelle all the best!

You will get a private room rate but will experience what is basically your own little private studio apartment sanctuary. TV w/ cable, mini fridge, microwave, and perhaps most importantly: a private bathroom and completely separate entrance. Oh did I also mention your very own parking spot right next to your private entrance? I really can't say enough positive things. I have already planned my next stay!

  Comments: After Delta cancelled 25 flights after mitnight at JFK, I needed a place to stay. No hotels were available. So I checked airbnb. I sent messages at 1:30 am. Miraculously Linelle responded. And while her place was booked, she found another place for me. She even came and picked me up at JFK! I was able to get a good nights rest and catch my rebooked flight the next day. Thank you Linelle! I will never forget your hospitality!

  Comments: Eine angenehme Unterkunft für alle, die dem Trubel Manhattans am Abend gerne entkommen möchten. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut und Linelle eine zuvokommende, herzliche Gastgeberin. Allerdings darf man nicht lärmempfindlich sein, da das Haus hellhörig ist und man je nach Wetterlage auch die Flugzeuge vom JFK-Airport hört. Wir würden das Zimmer trotzdem empfehlen und auch gerne wiederkommen.

  Comments: La chambre de Linelle est assez bien située, à 15 minutes de l'aéroport et à une centaine de mètres des plages. En revanche cela aura été notre pire expérience airbnb. Les sols de la chambre ainsi que la douche n'étaient pas vraiment propre. La chambre n'est vraiment pas bien insonorisée, on entend tout ce qui passe en haut et le sol grince horriblement, nous avons très mal dormi. Point positif, une entrée séparée pour la chambre et Linelle est gentille.

  Comments: Great first experience with using airbnb! Comunication was perfect from the beginning. Linelle picked me up from the airport. She offered to take me to Mc Donalds for dinner as I arrived quite late. Linelle is very attentive and super helpful hosts. She takes her hosting responsibility very serious and her attention to detail show up in everything she make me welcome and comfortable in my stay! The place fully met my needs! The room is absolutely beatiful, stylish and well equipped! King size bed is extremly comfortable! Plus the location is really convenient, only a short walk to subway, boardwalk and beach. Linelle was a wonderful host and went beyond all expectations! I really recommend this great spot to anyone who want to visit Rockaway! I would love to stay there next time for sure!   Comments: Linelle's place was absolutely wonderful! You basically have your own whole place minus kitchen! Everything she described is accurate - private entry, bathroom, comfy bed, etc. It was very clean, fully equipped with all things necessary (I.e water, microwave, toothpaste, big TV), and overall very cozy and comfortable! She was easily accessible as well! Just FYI, it was quite a distance to get into manhattan (~1h) but that is beyond her control. Otherwise, it was a great experience and I would definitely stay there again :)

The private room is downstairs from the house, has it's own entry and bathroom. It's almost like having your own hotel room. Gteat stay!

  Comments: Linelle's rental is just like the pictures. Our only complaint was that you can hear everything the neighbors do through the walls. They are not loud neighbors, but the walls are definitely thin. But the location was perfect for us; just a quick 10 minute drive to the beach.

  Comments: Con: The noise from the home owner will go away around 11pm or 12am and quiet afterward. For one night, the house alarm system went off at least three times and we were just so tired to turn off after that. Sadly, we had horrible sleep the 1st night. Showers is small thus i dont reccomend for a heavier person. I hit my head n shoulder twice. Pro: Family was kind. The room beautifully decorated. The location is convenient (10 mins walk to metro) and safe. The room cleanliness is overall ok. Private parking next to door aka side of the house. The bed is medium firm, lots of pillows, tv has verizon cable but tv volumn cannot be changed and stayed medium to low volume. Mini refrig and microwave was a great touch and very clean, instant krogers coffee, lil complements, and steam water pot was provided. Overall, we enjoyed our stay which could be 5 stars if the house alarm was not the issue.

If traveling to the Far Rockaways and you do not want to rent a car, this place is perfectly located near stores and public transportation as well as JFK. The room was very clean and all the extras were provided per her description as well as additional amenities. I liked having a private bath. This was the biggest feature that I truly appreciated. The room was a comfortable size for the two of us staying there. We did not feel cramped at all. Linelle responded promptly to communications so since this was my first time using airbnb, she took the worry out of the experience. I would definitely be open to coming back here again and would recommend this spot to other travelers.

  Comments: Linelle's place was an excellent weekend getaway. She had stocked the apartment with linens, snacks, drinks, bath and body needs. I wasn't expecting for her to have half of what she did. She was very quick when responding to my texts. The area itself was okay, but the street Linelle lives on was very quiet. We were 5 minutes away from the beach, and 10 minutes from town where there were lively restaurants and clubs. I would recommend checking out Cabana or Speakeasy for dinner if you are visiting this area. We had such a nice stay. Thank you Linelle!

  Comments: I rented this space just for one night, it was perfect get away for me from my my apt in Harlem. Everything is close, ocean, public transportation. Linelle, the host, let me stay few hours longer which was great! She’s very fast with responding. Also that space has a separate entrance, we were not bothering each other, that’s another awesome thing! Definitely coming back for a longer stay and more rockaway adventures!

  Comments: This was the perfect place to stay. Not only because it was literally blocks away from my boyfriends relatives but the location made it so easy to access the beach & the train. It was also a quiet location. I am big on SLEEP. I’m a light sleeper and I wasn’t disturbed once the 4 nights I stayed here. So there is a train station that is literally 2 blocks away from this place. It took me about 3 minutes to walk there. The entrance to the beach is actually right next to the train station. You can either go to your right and walk up the steps or keep straight and walk onto the beach once you turn on the block of the train station. Linelle gave clear and specific directions on where the room was located and how to gain access. It has its own entrance which was perfect. Coming in late wasn’t an issue because we didn’t have to worry about disturbing anyone in the home. During the day you could hear footsteps upstairs being that the room is at the lower level but it wasn’t a concern. If you’ve ever lived in an apartment on the lower level, that’s what its like. Our privacy was respected which was greatly appreciated. I did get the pleasure to meet Linelle coming in from dinner one evening. Very nice & welcoming. The neighborhood seems like a neighborhood where everyone kind of knows each other. The neighbors were respectful and spoke when you walked by. As for the room, it was gorgeously decorated. I felt right at home. The bathroom was stocked with different shampoos, conditioners, & body washes. There was a wardrobe that was also stocked with clean linen & towels. There is a dresser to store your clothes and belongings. A fridge and microwave as listed. On top of the microwave were little snacks like popcorn as well as condiments. I didn’t think there would be an iron so I packed mines but turns out there was an iron as well as an ironing board. Overall my experience here was amazing. Highly recommended.
