  Comments: We were fuor and stayed in the flat for three nights. The experience was simply great! Clean, nicely decorated and very well located Kris' flat proved to be the perfect accomodation to discover New York while enjoying the feeling of being "home".

  Comments: Kris's luxury apartment was the perfect base for us in New York. We were 2 couples, so having 2 comfortable queen sized beds and 2 bathrooms was brilliant. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable. It was spotless with nice bed linens and towels. The location is very good for exploring the city and has lots of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Kris was a great host, responding very quickly and fully to any questions and gave us some great tips and advice. I would highly recommend staying here.

  Comments: The apartment was absolutely fantastic! We stayed for over a week and had everything we needed. The neighbourhood is great within walking distance of lots of great restaurants, shops and a great coffee place (Grumpy's Cafe on 20th). Most importantly for NYC it is located at the back of the building and was nice and quiet at night so no rude awakenings! The outdoor terrace is really good however it was too cold for us to use even with the heaters. Kris and Rene were great hosts and always ready and willing to offer assistance. We highly recommend their apartment.

  Comments: My family and I loved our stay at Kris’ place. Kris is very helpfull and we received all the information we needed in good time before arriving in NYC - including how to get to the airport. A bottle of champagne was waiting for us in the fridge, when we came late in the eveing, which was very nice☺ The location of the apartment is great. The neighborhood feels very safe and is less busy than many other parts of Manhattan. There are a lot of fantastic cafe's, restaurants, food shops and cool stores in the area. The apartment was very clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable! The outdoor space was incredible and the large terrace is a great place to have breakfast or hang out at night. We stayed here for 7 days and would definitely recommend Kris’ home to anyone.

  Comments: While my wife and I were'nt able to stay with Kris due to my wife's sudden, serious illness, I cannot say enough about Kris and his helpfulness during a tough time. We cancelled and, although he didn't have to, he went out of his way to see that we got back almost all of the money that we had sent to AirB&B for rent.   Comments: We were 2 couples. Great setup for us. Ground floor ( a few steps down from street level) Very quiet and cool. We did the classics at MoMa, Met , Guggenheim . Obviously , Kris took his cue from these in quality and presentation !! Ahh - mazing to have a back deck to enjoy happy hour and then after dinner convo in that great outdoor space... Like our own VIP lounge! Would stay again for sure. We walked to mid town and back several times. But subway is right at the corner. I have 3 airbnb places and came away with several ideas from this stay to improve my guests experience;) Book it!!!

  Comments: Kris, the host, was a great communicator both at the time of booking and also just prior to our travel. Arrival instructions were clear, and he was able to accommodate a last-minute arrival time change due to a cancelled flight. Thank you! The apartment is great. Garden level with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, just as pictured. For two couples wanting more space and comfort than a hotel room affords, and wanting their own bedrooms and bathrooms, this place is perfect! The open floor-plan dining, living, and kitchen space is very comfortable. We enjoyed the complimentary Nespresso. We would have loved using the large outdoor patio space that includes lounging and dining furniture, but the weather didn't cooperate during our stay. The apartment is in a great location with many bars and restaurants nearby, Hudson River Park to the west, the High Line two blocks away, and the subway at the end of the block. There are numerous grocers and drug stores within a block for grocery and personal items. I knew this neighborhood going in, so it's exactly what I expected. The apartment is lovely... just as pictured, and very recommended.

  Comments: We stayed for a week with other couple of friends and our experience in kris apt was fabulous ! Everything was very clean and extremely comfortable. The apt is ideal for 2 couples. With 2 bedrooms each one with its own bathroom (a luxury in ny!!) bed linen and all amenities were brand new and very cozy . It really felt like staying at home! The neighborhood is great! Walkable distance to excellent restaurants and bars (meatpacking district) shops, grocery stores, Chelsea market, high line and with 2 subway lines just blocks away. now that the weather is great the terrace is the best spot of the apt!! Ideal for breakfast or at sunset or just to chill outside after a long day... Kris is a great host and recommended great places to visit. Absolutely your place in ny!!!

  Comments: Our scheduled host did not greet us and we got a substitute who was t the apartment when we arrived. the apartment was adequate however we were disappointed because it did not have a coffee pot. We enjoy coffee in the morning and evening, we brought our own coffee and obviously were not satisfied during our stay.

  Comments: The apartment was as described, clean and in a good location. The only problems we had were that the owner did not provide a kettle, iron or ironing board however did provide a steamer. Also when we arrived his " assistant" was not available and consequently we did not obtain a thorough overview of how everything in the appt. operated. To the owners credit he did allow us a late checkout which was appreciated

  Comments: communication from host was excellent - anything that we need was provided for and any question was answered via email, from nespresso coffee to all the basic which made the apartment feel like coming home after a long day of walking around. High speed internet and a printer was great and very useful for important documents and flights details. The images advertised was very accurate to the space.

The apartment is a fantastic location , you feel like a native New Yorker not a tourist , the area felt very safe , was close to everything but away from the hustle and bustle. The apartment was extremely clean, comfortable , great TV if you wish to chill ,and the icing on the cake was to have the outside garden to sit and enjoy the outside space in Chelsea.   Comments: This is my first time using AirB&B, I was nervous about it at the beginning, but with the quick responses and replies to any of my questions from the owner Kris, I felt at ease quickly. The apartment turned out to be just as it is described on the website, even better with the homey feeling it brought me which can not be shown on pictures or describe by words. The trip to NYC this time was to spend Thanksgiving holiday with my two college kids, the apartment gave us that warm and cozy feelings as we needed it as a home. The quality of the apartment, also with all it's furnature, kitchen supplies, bathroom toiletry supplies are all top qualities. The neighborhood is safe, location is great, with #1 subway train right on the street, it gives an easy access to every part of NYC. The Whole Food and Trader Joe's are all only a few streets away, restaurants are abundant in the neighborhood, host Kris also has a list of things to do, restaurants to go to, and shops nearby piled together for the guests. This property is highly recommended.

  Comments: What can I say.. We had a great time! the place was exactly as it is described and pictured on the site... Everything was clean and neat. It was in a great location, we had so many places nearby that we simply could not choose where to go next. It was a perfect space for 4 of us. We had a perfect amount of privacy with our own walk in patio as well as a backyard patio. Unfortunately we were unable to use the backyard patio and everything was put away due to bad weather conditions. Although we did not talk to Kris directly during the trip he was very responsive, friendly, and accommodating during the booking process also making sure his assistant met us at the place and gave us a thorough walk through as well as contact information during our stay. Upon our arrival Kris and Rene had a bottle of prosecco waiting for us in the fridge which I thought was a great touch. All in all this place was awesome and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great centrally located apartment in a trendy neighborhood in NYC.

  Comments: My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Chelsea-the apartment was great and close to everything we wanted to get to! Kris was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. Unfortunately the weather was a bit of an obstacle so couldn't enjoy the outdoor space as much as we would have, but we will be sure to stay again when the weather improves!

While we didn't meet Kris during our stay he was responsive to questions before our arrival and during our stay, providing recommendations for neighbourhood restaurants etc. The furnishings etc. were stylish and there were some lovely touches in the apartment, such as lots of clean towels, bathrobes, a plentiful supply of nespresso capsules for the coffee machine and a bottle of prosecco waiting for us.

  Comments: When we arrived a lady gave us a warm welcome showed us all the amenities within and surprised us with a bottle of champagne. Everything that was described about the apartment was above and beyond...very well presented and maintained with modern appliances. It was well situated in good distance to the main attractions. There are local convience/alcohol stores and variety of eateries within 5-10 mins walking distance.

  Comments: We were welcomed by Natalia, who showed us round the apartment, and was both helpful and informative. The apartment was precisely as described - sadly the weather was not good enough to allow us to enjoy the outdoor space, but the living area was large and well-equipped. We found it extremely clean, and it was very user friendly. Supplying 4 sets of house keys allowed us come and go as we pleased. The beds were comfortable, there was an endless supply of hot water and plenty bandwidth on the wifi - all in all, lots to like, nothing to complain about. And the situation in Chelsea is great, it is one of the nicest parts of Manhattan. We will certainly be checking availability before the next time we visit NYC.

Some lovely welcoming touches like the bottle of prosecco in the fridge, lovely linen and towels and good quality toiletries in the bathroom. Wish we had realised the lounge had no natural daylight as a bit too early to sit outside and anyway courtyard garden had not been made ready following the winter. Very nicely furnished and extremely clean.

  Comments: Oppholdet i Kris' leilighet innfridde alle forventninger. Vi hadde god dialog frem til avreise og ble godt mottatt av hans hyggelige assistent Natalia da vi ankom. Leiligheten var ren og ryddig ved overtakelsen, og hadde alle nødvendige fasiliteter. Beliggenheten i Chelsea var svært god, og sentral. Kort vei til subway, Highline og Meatpacking, og restauranttilbud og butikker i umiddelbar nærhet. Både rett etter ankomst og underveis i oppholdet hadde vi dialog med Kris og han var svært behjelpelig med å besvare eventuelle spørsmål. Vi kan varmt anbefale både leiligheten og Kris som utleier.

  Comments: This was my first time renting an apartment through AirBnB so I didn't really know what to expect. So it was a great relief to us when we entered Kris's Chelsea flat to see it exactly like he had described it on the AirBnB website. The apartment is well furnished and very comfortable. Little touches like free Nespresso pods are much appreciated! It is superbly located for the Whitney museum, the Highline and all the trendy shops and restaurants of the Meatpacking district and only a short taxi ride to the plush environs of Fifth and Park Avenue. But what made our stay even more enjoyable was our host Kris. He is super efficient and very obliging. When we asked how to turn on our aircon because it was unseasonably hot, he responded immediately by sending a man in to instal airconditioning in our bedrooms. This is service par excellence. He responded immediately to all our emails prior and during our stay. I would definitely recommend this apartment to all our friends and will return myself!

  Comments: We loved our stay at Kris' apartment. The space is very nicely decorated and the outdoor patio is fabulous! Its a wonderful space to unwind after a busy day in the city. The apartment is cozy but by NYC standards is a really great size. It is perfect for two couples. If you want to have a few friends come by the outdoor space is absolutely perfect for entertaining. Very large sofa area and ample dining space. Just be mindful of the sound level for neighbors in the units above when on the patio. The kitchen was well equipped with most everything you could need. There are lysol cleaning wipes, all necessary paper products, cleaning supplies, towels, robes, very nice shampoo, conditioner, soap, hairdryers, etc. Pots, pans, toaster, coffee and coffee maker, spices, chocolates, and a nice bottle of prosecco are all provided. Anything you might need for food and wine can be found a short walking distance away, or can be delivered. We really loved the location, the apartment, the private entrance, the communication with the owner and his assistant Natalia. We'd definitely stay here again. If you need more space than a standard 1bed/1bath hotel room can provide, this place is perfect.

  Comments: We had a very pleasant time at Kris' apartment. It was just like on the pictures. It's a quiet place and the beds are very confortable, exactly what we needed after our long walks in the city! It is very conviently located to visit Manhattan (5 minutes walk to reach the nearest subway station). Natalia, a friend of Kris, welcomed us with a warm smile and a bottle of Proseco although there was a lot of traffic jam coming from the airport and we arrived much later than expected. There are a few shops to buy food and some take-away near the flat, which is a good thing when you come back home late and tired!

  Comments: Four of us had a great stay at Kris' apartment (parents of two grown children and our 80+ year old parents). The apartment is very spacious and quiet - particularly for NYC, clean and neat, ample towels, comfortable beds, plenty of closet space for our clothes, lovely backyard space, ample dishes and glassware, and easy access to subway. Kris was an excellent host and the Nespresso machine with ample coffee pods was just icing on the cake. Would stay here again!

  Comments: A huge thank you to Kris, Rene and Natalia for such a fantastic time. When we arrived we were greeted by Natalia, so friendly with a beautiful smile. She showed us around the apartment. I can honestly say it was better than the photos on Airbnb. It was amazing. Very clean; comfortable beds; top quality linen and towels; champagne and chocolates and the most gorgeous outside area. It was a delight to sit out there in the hot evenings with all the twinkly lights on. It was a wonderful place and a great airbnb experience. Very good location. Convenient for shops and restaurants. You must eat at Rosemary's. We were even allowed to leave the property later than advertised and collect the cases once we ordered a taxi. Thank you for being wonderful hosts. Hope to stay there again. Highly recommend. ☺

  Comments: Kris wasabi extremely helpful host. He gave us restaurant suggestions and tips for New York which we found very useful. The apartment is beautiful and the location is excellent. Everything down to the choice of soap in the bathrooms was superb and we would certainly recommend this air bnb to our friends- especially anyone who loves art as there are some really fun pieces that he has collected.

  Comments: Kris was the perfect host long before we arrived. He and his staff, Jan and Natalia, were pitch perfect with instructions and useful information. Through a black wrought-iron gate amd down a flight of stone steps, and we found ourselves in a private garden filled with greenery and sculpture. The apartment itself was cozy and beautifully appointed. There wasn't a need that wasn't met. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

  Comments: We had a fantastic stay. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and clean. The location is great, near lots of restaurants, shops and subway. It is overlooking the backyard so it is superquiet, what is rare for NYC. Only being on lower ground floor it doesn't get much daylight. Kris and Natalia were easy to communicate with. Kris provided us with all the necessary instructions before our trip. Upon check in we met Natalia who showed us around and gave us all additional information. Thank you both for our wonderful stay, we really enjoyed your apartment and hopefully we will come back in future.

  Comments: I get to NYC for business 10-12 times a year and so have stayed in a lot of neighborhoods, both in apartments and hotels. I have to say that so far Kris's home is in by far my favorite location: this area of Chelsea has really come up in the last 4 years so it is near great restaurants and shopping. The Whitney Museum and galleries are mere blocks away. Ditto three separate subway lines. Also I run and the fact that the westside boardwalk has been re-done made for gorgeous runs. (The apt itself was also perfect, but you can see that from the pics - I'm focusing on the neighborhood as that is always a bit of a question-mark when searching for places to stay....)

Loved the neighbourhood vibe and living New York like a local !! The outdoor space was great especially with the gorgeous fairy lights on !!! Super quiet and easy to sleep. Kris is an excellent trustworthy host who responses very quickly with lots of info and tips. Tip - Huu sushi on the corner is delicious and nice to eat in or takeaway. Also for a healthy , delicious , cheap take away dinner or lunch Wise Fish Pike directly across the road is an absolute winner ! We enjoyed ours with a glass of wine in the courtyard !!!   Comments: The apartment is in a great location and is very private. Another couple and my wife and I spent 14 days in the apartment The outside courtyard is wonderful to use in the early summer. The fittings and fixtures were most comfortable. The linen and towels were good quality and the was well stocked with items for personal use. My wife and her friend were most impressed with the washing machine and dryer and would give these two items 6 stars!

Yet the apartment was quiet from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. Kris introduced me to Natalia and Yoshi as our local host. Both were extremely accommodating especially with my delayed flight arriving 9 hours after our original ETA. We hope to rent from Kris in the future.

  Comments: Very well located apartment, small but probably what one could expect in NY. The kitchen was very user friendly with everything you would need as was the laundry. Bedrooms a little small and they windows could do with so decent curtains, the aircon in the main bedroom is very noisy. Overall I would recommend if you have no issues with the curtains and aircon.

  Comments: Right from the first point of contact Kris responded quickly and answered all our questions. As this was our first AirBnB stay he made us feel comfortable with the process. As for the apartment we couldn’t fault it. Located near bars, restaurants, markets, landmarks and public transport. The list is endless. The apartment is also set back from the street. So security and privacy were never in question. All the amenities were good quality and all in working order. The beds were comfortable and we didn’t notice much street noise at night. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Stop looking and get booking. This is the best and most authentic New York experience we’ve ever had.

  Comments: This was our first Airbnb experience and Kris and Natalia really made us feel at home. From initial contact on booking, through to really good tips and information and very fast responses to questions, they really were very focused on the guest experience. The apartment itself is in a fabulous location in Chelsea - loads of places nearby, for food, bars and shopping. The apartment was very well equipped and very stylish and clean - nespresso machine, water machine (even a soda stream - I haven’t seen one of those in years) and there was a lovely gesture of a welcome bottle of bubbles in the fridge. Plenty of towels and hairdryers provided. Highly, highly recommended. Thank you Kris and Natalia.

  Comments: Highly recommend Kris’s apartment. !! It was close to everything!! The apartment is roomy and the beds are very comfortable. I’ve been to NYC about 10 times and this is my favorite stay. After this experience, I can’t imagine staying in a hotel in NYC ever again!!. Was nervous about booking Airbnb since I’ve tried once before and was canceled by the owner at the last minute, but that wasn’t an issue with Kris. He and Natalia, the host who met us to check in was on top of everything !! And the apartment just felt safe and tucked away. I even left the apartment alone at 1:00 am to walk to a nearby pharmacy. I felt that safe in the neighborhood. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again !!!

  Comments: This home in Chelsea did not disappoint. We are a family of four with 2 teenaged kids, and we made it a point to have two bedrooms with 2 baths and available facilities for laundry. This had it all and then some. The kitchen was fully equipped. All the basic amenities were readily available for our use. The place was very neat and tidy with fascinating pieces of art. Truly a home away from home. If Spring had just come a little earlier we would have been lounging in the private terrace the whole day. The location is just great and an easy walk to Union square or SoHo and even up to midtown. Our host was truly gracious. The Champagne a nice touch. Thank you for a great stay.

  Comments: Hemos estado en casa de Kris dos parejas durante una semana , la casa es tal cual veis en las fotos tiene dos dormitorios de matrimonio espaciosos uno de ellos con el baño dentro el otro baño está afuera , la decoración está con mucho gusto , la cocina muy completa tienen el detalle de tener cápsulas de café y de bienvenida una botella de espumoso y bombones no falta de nada hemos estado muy agusto como en casa , la comunicación tanto con Kris como con Natalia ha sido siempre estupenda y rápida para lo que necesites, y la situación es estupenda cerca de todo y en una zona más tranquila sin duda alguna lo recomiendo 100% , nos ha encantado Gracias Kris y Natalia.

Examples: PLENTY of towels, coffee maker AND espresso machine (with coffee already there), bottle of champagne in refrig, etc. We were there during hot days but A/C cooled place down quickly. Location was great; plenty of great restaurants nearby and subway close. Host was VERY accommodating: our 19 year old daughter arrived a day before we did but was greeted kindly and shown around. And when our flight out was delayed, they let us stay late. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!

  Comments: Fantastic place in a great location. First night there they were filming ‘law and order’ outside. Perfect for two couples. Natalia was there at check in and showed us around. We were able to have a late check out and so we washed/dried and put away the towels to help. Fab washing machine and tumble dryer. Coffee from machine was lovely. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are supplied and great quality. Prosecco in fridge was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend. Thank you Kris and Natalia.

Not only is it exactly advertised, but we were actually pleasantly surprised by how stylish the place is and the many amenities/appliances offered, from the back yard, to the huge and beautiful TV, to the full range of kitchen appliances. The list goes on and on. I also loved how clean the place is. Location was also top notch, right next to Chelsea market, numerous shopping options and the metro. Kris and Natalia were perfect hosts, and their home exceeded expectations in terms of space, comfort and amenities. I was amazed how quiet the bedrooms were. Our favorite things about the apartment was the private entrance, very nice kitchen and comfortable beds! We also love the dining room table for eating in and playing games! The outdoor space is Super nice unfortunately the weather was cold and we didn’t get to use it! Next time!! The washer and dryer was an added bonus. My husband and son loved the large TV for watching football! Overall it’s a wonderful place and you’ll enjoy your stay there!

The unit is just as described. Very comfortable, good sleeping arrangements, well equipped-kitchen--everything you could need or want. It as even better than described, in a nice location (Nice to be in a quiet space still so close to walk to most areas) and spotlessly clean with great amenities - to name just a few - newish large TV’s in the lounge and all bedrooms, great coffee machine and capsules, lots of towels. The outside area would be awesome in Summer. It was very easy to get around NYC from this location - we walked almost everywhere and used a few Uber’s. There are some good restaurants close by - don’t miss the Tapas and Paella restaurant almost directly opposite the apartment: amazing service, food and cocktails. Communication from Kris was super quick, friendly and helpful and check-in a breeze with Nicola. Thanks Kris, for the lovely French sparkling and chocolates, they were greatly enjoyed on NYE! Also, many thanks for the early check-in, it helped a lot after our 23 hour journey. Hopefully, we can stay again on our next trip to NYC during spring or summer to enjoy the outside area.
