  Comments: I was in Sydney with my family for a holiday and we've had a lovely stay at this new granny flat. It was above and beyond our expectations. If I could rate it, it would be an easy 10/10. This place was way better than a 5-star hotel. This was my first Airbnb experience and they have set the bar so high. From day one, George and Lucia had been nothing but helpful, attentive and on the ball of everything. There was so much thought given to every little detail of the house. The house was super clean and it always had an amazing scent. Fresh linen and towels were provided, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and everything needed to cook was there, including the recipe books. Commuting was rather easy. We took the train most of the time to travel to the city. The nearest train station is Kingsgrove Station which is about 10-15 minutes walking distance. Opal cards can be purchased from a convenience store at the station. We also downloaded the "Opal Travel" app to check on the train times and fare estimate. The nearest supermarket is Woolworths which is only 2 min walk from the train station. There are many restaurants around the train station too. This place has truly made us feel like home and there is absolutely nothing better than returning to a cozy house after a really long day in the city. George and Lucia were the best host we could ever ask for. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Sydney :)

George even gave us suggestions on how to spend our time in Sydney and took us to a shopping mall on his day off. Their place is indeed cosy and quiet and it is beautifully designed as well. I was very satisfied with my stay and I highly suggest this place if you are looking for a place in the area! I wish the best for this kind family hope to see them someday in my home country , Iran.

Their flat is new, so clean and furnished with high quality fittings & kitchen items. The area is quiet, peaceful, close to public transport and walking distance to shopping & restaurants as well. For sure, this place is my number 1 choice for the next trip. With full confidence I recommend everyone to stay in the flat. Definitely, you will enjoy every minute over there.   Comments: This would have to be one of the best airbnbs we've stayed in. The place was brand new, immaculate and fitted out with everything one would need-awesome attention to detail. We were traveling with our toddler and George and Lucia were thoughtful enough to provide some toys and even a step stool for her in the bathroom. It's that sort of stuff you don't see all the time but makes things much easier! Great hosts.

  Comments: Amazing hosts! This place is amazing and George and Lucia thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Traveling with two small boys they were thoughtful enough to provide some toys that kept the boys busy for hours. It's things like this that makes it even more special. Well maintained and very cozy. George and his family are very warm and make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. This was our first Airbnb experience but they sure set the bar high.   Comments: Sydney's best kept secret. Part of us, really doesn't wish to write this review, because then word will spread at how totally amazing this Air BnB is! However, by sharing this review, brings the kudos and the praise that both George and Lucia have put into building this B'nB. Don't be fooled by the name 'granny flat'. This is so much more than the old granny flat of yesteryear. This flat is a place where anyone, even granny won't want to go home! It is really clear that both George and Lucia really enjoy having their 'granny' visit, because the accomodation is astounding and was originally built to lodge her when she visits from abroad. You arrive via a second, private and secluded entrance at the rear of the main home. The terraced entrance welcomes you and is a beautiful spot to dine alfresco of a morning or enjoy the native birds and a chilled glass of wine in the afternoon. The kitchen is modern and well appointed. Stocked with all the essentials as if you were at home. We were welcomed with fresh bread, milk, fruit, chocolates and a bottle of bubbles for new years eve. This made such a welcome sight after having been travelling for the previous ten days and really couldn't be face the shops that late in the warmth of the afternoon. The bedroom was appointed with plush linen, mountains of pillows to dissolve into, the design features, really made you feel like you have just stepped into a double page spread of an interior design magazine. After a weeks stay in the leafy suburb of Kingsgrove, we are leaving now as if we are new friends of the family. Thank you for all the 'plus ones' George and Lucia, they have not gone unnoticed, and your family has really gone above and beyond what we thought was required. As first time Air BnB users, you really have set the bar ridiculously high! We look forward to coming back to Sydney to catch up again! Next time we'll supply the bubbles. xxx Sally, Dwayne and Mon

Like most of the people here have said, the granny flat looks just like the pictures :) it’s very comfortable, very cozy, very clean and has everything we could possibly need—extra towels, umbrella, washer, Netflix… the list goes on!! This is the first time my parents rented an Airbnb (they were hesitant at first) and they absolutely loved the experience; kept saying they didn’t wanna leave and if permitted, they would rent this place again the next time they’re in Sydney! the place is also close to the train station and food shops 100% recommend!!

George and Lucia went so far above and beyond what they needed to do as hosts. They truly thought of everything and their offering is magnificent. The flat looks brand new, is very stylish, yet VERY comfortable. The location is convenient to both the airport and the train station. In total, it is an ideal place to stay in Sydney at a very reasonable price. Our only regret is not having more time to spend there.

  Comments: We stayed at the Granny Flat whilst visiting family in Sydney. It's not in the centre of Sydney but there are good rail links from Kingsgrove station a short walk from the property. The accommodation is of the highest quality in terms of furnishings, facilities and cleanliness. It was good to have our own entrance so we could come and go as we please. George and Lucia have thought of everything you could need away from home including shopping bags, washing powder, toiletries and food cupboard staples such as cooking oil, herbs and pasta. The welcome gift of a box of chocolates and a fridge stocked with milk and butter was really useful. There is a small Coles supermarket at the petrol station nearby (right at the end of the road) and there is a Woolworths, plenty of restaurants and smaller shops in Kingsgrove. George is very friendly and willing to help in any way he can during your stay. Would definitely recommend and we will use again.

We stayed there for three weeks while renovating and it had everything we needed: kitchen with all the required cookware, super comfortable bed, TV, aircon etc. Also very pleasantly decorated. The extra touches also made it stand out: welcome chocolate, cozy winter sheets, robes, and lots of coffee! Can’t speak more highly of the hosts who made us feel very welcome and offered to help with anything we needed. Train and bus transportation is also handy and nearby. The only negative was the walk to the train station is a bit grungy and industrial, otherwise the granny flat is located in a nice little cul de sac. Would highly recommend staying here.   Comments: A stunning granny annex that is a short distance from all the amenities that is needed in a busy city. The annex is spacious, light, modern and well presented. It only took 10 min to get to the train station and a further 20 min to get into the centre of the city. George and lucias granny flat felt private, secure and like a little retreat! We highly recommend staying here with or without children.

It’s extremely quiet on a night too and felt very safe. Both George and Lucia are great hosts, very welcoming & are always available for any help you may need. It took about 15 minutes on the train to get into the CBD but it’s a straight line from Kingsgrove so made life really easy to get about.   Comments: One of the best airbnb's I've ever stayed in. Hosts went above and beyond to make sure stay was great. There was chocolate on the counter and in the refrigerator, fresh eggs, water, and a fully stocked bathroom that had EVERYTHING you might need. I was super impressed. Never seen an airbnb with so much attention to detail. A few other things to note: -Beautiful decor and interior design. Pictures do not do it justice. -AC/aircon is ice cold and does a great job in the Sydney summer -There's a small, intimate patio outside with seating and a deck. -internet has strong signal though Australia's 4g/lte is so fast most of the time cell phone tethering is actually faster. I got speeds of around 5mbps. -Towels are high-end hotel quality. Very soft and fluffy. -Washer in unit! Very nice one at that. This flat has nicer appliances than i have at home. -Actually has 2 full sized beds, one in the bedroom (great sheets and duvet!) and one in a small alcove behind the couch.
