  Comments: Francisca is so hospitable, kind and thoughtful and she has been so responsive to the very question, call and text. Her place is awesome and as same as depicted in the picture i.e, Private room with the lock, comfortable and cozy, big lounge with 60" Led (tv), neat and clean washroom, well-equipped kitchen. She welcomes with tasty snacks and juices. She cooked finger licking rice for me. Out of her busy schedule, she took me to the market for shopping on her own car. She is a gem of a person and her place is matchless. If you are looking for a place in New York then believe me your search is over. Opt this and you will see the diiference. Only regret, my stay was just 10 days.

  Comments: Great host! I'm a medical student doing a rotation at St. John's Episcopal Hospital and Fransisca's home was the perfect place to stay. She sent excellent instructions on how to find her place ahead of time and was flexible with check in time. Francisca had fruit, bottle water, and juice waiting for me when I arrived (she even offered me dinner)! She gave advice on how to get around and answered questions regarding the area. The house is spotless. The room is located in the basement and a living room, dining area, bathroom, and kitchen are shared with another bedroom that is also used for Airbnb. 1 block from a laundromat, 3 blocks from the A train (takes about an hour to Manhattan), 3 blocks from the beach, and a 7 minute walk to St. John's Hospital, CVS, Grocery store, Dunkin' Donuts, and subway. I walked home from the hospital at all hours of the night and never felt unsafe. The area is well lit and there is plenty of street parking available if you decide to bring a car. I would highly recommend staying at Francisca's home to anyone rotating at St. John's hospital or looking for a great place to stay near the beach.

  Comments: Overall I would give Francisca and her house a 5/5. She was a great host and even bought us pizza when she saw we were too tired to go out and eat. The only thing to keep in mind is to not lock the front door with a key, as it already locks by default. If you lock it with a key you will get locked out. Also I would give the location a 5/5 because the subway is less than 5 min walk (get on Wavecrest station [25 street]) and so is the boardwalk and beach.

  Comments: Francesca goes above and beyond the expected. Easily one on the best Airbnb experienced I've has so far. I arrived late at night but she greeted me with a smile, and offered dinner on top of that. The place was quiet, calm and so close to the beach as well as close to restaurants, shops and such. I'd love to go back there but she's booked for months.

  Comments: I really don't have enough words to do Francisca justice, she's just an all round amazing host who goes out of her way to make sure you're comfortable. Her kindness and hospitality made me feel at home. As a med student rotating at St John's, her place is ideal as it's only 10mins away. If I ever come back around to Far Rockaway I know where I'm staying!

Even though is was a really long and far ride to the city center ( almost an hour and 20 min!) It was nice to get back to such a nice room. Thx a lot!

  Comments: Francisca tried to make me feel as much at home as possible. When I told her I am a vegan, she put salad for me in the fridge and provided me with lots of directions where I need to go to find the closest supermarket for example. She is incredible friendly and willing to help if anything is needed.

  Comments: Francisca is great, she welcomed me and made sure I had everything I need, she even made me salad which was very nice, she answered all the questions I had, her place is great, super clean, you get an apartment not just a room, living room with a huge tv, dining table, study desk and an entire kitchen, you just need clothes to live there, highly recommend her place and I will definitely stay there if I go again.

  Comments: Francisca et son logement sont uniques! On a un "accueil-plus" exceptionnel,beaucoup trop de "petits-plus" qui font que l'on ne peut que choisir cette place,lorsqu'on descend à JFK. Qualité/prix? On ne peut trouver mieux à New-York! A part sa chambre,on a accès à un large salon,une cuisine équipée de tout ce qu'on a besoin,un très grand réfrigérateur. On croirait que l'on est même pas sorti de chez soi! Et si on a un invité de dernier moment à rajouter,il sera le bien-venu,sur un lit fautueil confortable dans un autre coin,bien au doux.

  Comments: I stayed in Francisca's place for 6 weeks for my clinical rotation and it was an excellent stay. The location was awesome, the place is clean and well organized, she responds promptly to guest's concerns and addresses it immediately. She is a very friendly, accommodating and excellent host and my I really enjoyed my stay. And before I forget, she made me breakfast the morning after I arrived and showed me where I can get groceries nearby. I will surely recommend this place to everyone and definitely stay here again when I am in new york. Thank you Francisca.

  Comments: Great place to stay. I literally got the whole apartment with big TV and lots of channels, you don't just get a bedroom. Bed and pillows really comfortable and Francisca even called me from outside the country to make sure I was happy and ok. Her family were really helpful and gave me big bottle of juice and make sure I was ok! The place is so convenient, 5 mins from metro, pharmacy, fast food and take out places. Also right across from the beach so I could go running every day. Will definitely stay again.

  Comments: Francisca is a warm and welcoming host. She goes out of her way to make you comfortable. Fresh fruit, water, and juice etc were provided. The location is about 4 blocks from the subway. The commute from/to JFK airport is short and commute into the city is about an hour. It is also very close to the beach.

  Comments: I was here for the fall , I stayed a total of 5 weeks for job purposes but really it felt like a vacation. The location is by the beach. You will have no concerns getting to this property you must take the train system(A train) and will get you to this location in no problem. It is by the airport jfk. I was coming from Newark Liberty international, and I followed the directions to get the A train. It took around 1 hour for me. Once I arrived I was immediately greeted with food by Francisca . Francisca is very delightful she prepared food for me multiple times despite her busy schedule and I was able to eat. She would leave fresh food on the table for me, and I would come back to see a plate of food which was nice. She showed me the whole apartment and I was happy to see how bigger it is than in the pictures. Very spacious with a lovely clean bathroom you will be more than happy to see it is big and clean, not like a small box as in other New York accommodations. I was lucky because she made me feel very comfortable in such a big space and I settled in quickly. Food options There is key food 5 minutes work Deli stores ( all over which is excellent) Cvs 5 minutes walk Dunkin doughnuts 5 minutes walk Basking and Robbin 5 minutes Train station 5 minutes walk Laundrette that has a FREE drying service $4.75 to wash, it is about 4 minutes walk ( Fernando is your guy, he will assist with your laundry. I recommend tipping him as well as he will wash and dry your clothes for you if you want) The area is by the beach, after having a stressful day in the city I would go to the beach and just relax. It is a quiet area, all people within the area are polite. There is a strong diverse community so really you can eat a variety of foods. My favourite place to eat was Yumze Gourmet Deli and Smoothie and also a deli stores just opposite the station R&R. Fresh food, the owners are down to earth man. I enjoyed my stay and will be coming back when I’m next in New York . Thank you so much
