Charming place on the hippest street in NYC

  Comments: Annie's place is beautifully appointed; while it is a studio, it feels comfortable and cozy. An inviting and gorgeous home, her great taste shines through in everything. Clean, well stocked, neat, it feels inviting from the moment you walk in. It is located in one of Manhattan's more exciting neighborhoods and surrounded by great night life. The unfortunate trade off is the noise - while a few floors up, street level sounds still certainly make it through the windows. There are thick curtains to help ameliorate and I came in prepared with ear plugs just in case (ended up not needing them). A few relics of the age of the building remains in the faucets/knobs in the bathroom, but everything is entirely functioning and nothing a little bit of wiggling cannot solve. Annie was generous and kind, leaving us a bottle of Prosseco and birthday candles for my partner. She was very responsive on text to all sorts of questions, and I would be thrilled to stay with her again.

  Comments: The apartment is located in a great part of the city. Lots of great restaurants near by and close to several subway stops. Annie was very accommodating and responsive to all questions and needs. The apartment was very clean and tidy. Would defiently recommend to anyone visiting the city.

  Comments: Annie is great, check-in was smooth. She has a very well decorated house with many plants, very cute. She is easy to communicate with; the second night I was there the temperature went up a lot, she offered discount for not being able to install the AC, and sent a fan over. I recommend Annie and her house.

A small clean space in the East Village, perfect for a couple wishing to explore the area, whilst feeling a part of the community for that short time. There is so much choice right on the doorstep, but with the noise levels reduced due to apartment being on 5th floor. Great place to stay

  Comments: My partner and I had a wonderful stay in this apartment. We stayed for two nights on the weekend and loved the cosy studio flat as a base to go exploring from. The surrounding area is brilliant. Annie, though we didn't meet her, is a truly excellent host, preparing the flat to a lovely liveable standard, communicating well and making sure that we were ok and enjoying our stay. She was polite, efficient and unobtrusive to our visit, though I'm sure meeting her would have been great. Very cool, relaxed and competent attitude. If we're back in New York and the place is still available we would stay again. Thanks Annie

  Comments: The apartment was lovely - just as described and everything I needed for my short stay in NYC. Annie couldn’t have been more helpful and check in/out was super smooth as a result. The neighbourhood is great - lots of cafes, bars and restaurants (best coffee I had in the city, just around the corner!). Not the quietest in the evening, but nothing that really detracted from my stay and the fab location meant you really felt you were experiencing NYC life. Thanks Annie!

  Comments: Great location! Annie’s home was super cozy and cute. The location is fantastic - close to a lot of great bars and restaurants - everything you could want in a 4-block radius. The stairs can be a bit of a workout, but not such a bad thing! Overall, I really loved this place and will definitely book again in the future.

We were a little hesitant about booking due to it being on the 5th floor in a building with no lift but the stairs really weren't that bad! We will be recommending to friends and would definitely stay there again.

  Comments: Staying at Annie's place was so amazing it worries me I may not be able to go back to Manhattan without staying there again. Check in was easy and Annie was very accommodating. There is a climb up, down, then back up the stairs to get it all unlocked but that's pretty reasonable since it's security. The interior is very charming and warm and definitely feels like a place someone lives. Right outside your door is everything. Anytime I wanted to go somewhere specifically it was always "right on this street". The place was cozy, neighbors were super quiet (the street is noisy but it's right on a busy street), and the neighborhood was in fact amazing. Annie herself was very responsive to bigger and smaller questions from getting in to what sort of soap she had in the bathroom (because it smelled amazing). She was incredibly accommodating on us checking in and out and responded quickly that it felt like we were staying at a friends place rather than just a stranger. The place was cheap (relative to Manhattan) too, and it would be well worth it if it was more as well. Definitely a good stay if you want to have a good time in the city.

  Comments: Annie is a great host. She is quick to respond and very helpful if you need anything. Her place is a small studio apartment, well kept and clean. Just the right size for a couple on vacation. It was a quick 8-10 min walk to the nearest subway to see all of New York’s landmarks. There are numerous great local bars and dinner spots within a 5 minute walk from the door if you want to end your night near home too. The neighborhood seemed friendly and safe even during the Halloween party weekend. I would definitely recommend her apartment to anyone.

  Comments: From the moment of first contact to request our dates Annie responded instantly, could not have been more helpful all the way to the last day and even left some tasty snacks and bottled water for arrival ! The space is very homely and perfect for an individual or a couple in size, fully equipped with soft lighting and comfortable furniture. The location is great as a base to travel around the city catching all the sights and bars, with local eclectic bars and shops, a Starbucks right outside and subway / bus links an easy walk away. As it was early December the weather in New York was cold but the apartment was always cosy in temperature and I couldn’t not fault it nor leave anything constructive to build on our stay ! Thank you Annie !
