  Comments: Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à la Pensao Douro chez Vitor qui est une personne très accueillante et toujours de bon conseil sur les ressources de sa ville. Le logement de Vitor est très bien placé à Porto à 20 mètres de la gare Sao Bento et à moins de 10 mn à pied des principales attractions touristiques de Porto. Au pied de son immeuble il y a un café pour le petit déjeuner et de nombreux restaurants très bon marché et de qualité à 5 mn à pied. Le logement que nous avions loué est en très bon état. Seul c'est idéal de le louer. Si vous êtes en couple, notez bien que les WC la douche et le lavabo sont dans la chambre, juste isolés par un rideau. Heureusement il y a un balcon qui permet à l'un d'aller prendre l'air pendant que l'autre utilise la salle de bain. Ce logement est d'un excellent rapport qualité prix et le Wi-Fi compris, fonctionne parfaitement. C'est de loin l'une de nos meilleures adresses désormais et nous retournerons sans hésiter chez Vitor lors de notre prochain passage à Porto.   Comments: Chambre très bien placée au centre de Porto, tout est accessible facilement à pied: transports, lieux touristiques, un peu bruyant (travaux) mais très propre, accueil et conseils de Vitor utiles et très agréables pour un grand week-end à Porto!

  Comments: Victor and his wife are super nice and help out with everything you need, give you tips for sightseeing or just sit down for a nice chat. They speak different languages e.g. Portugues, german and english. The room is exactly as it says and the price is the best you can find for that area. It is super easy to get to the airport and you can walk from that airbnb everywhere in town easily. It might be useful to bring some earplugs for the noise of the station, which is just next door, if you have a light sleep. But it isnt too bad at all. So no worries about that. All in all we can recommend to stay with Victor and would always book the same if we would be back in town.

  Comments: This is a great single/double room in very central Porto, near Sao Bento station and thereby easily accessible with public transport. Airport is reachable within 40min metro. All the tourist highlights are within walking distance from between 5-15 min, the location is therefore absolutely great. The same can be said for the host Vitor, who does everything he can to make the stay comfortable. One thing to note tho is that the room overlooks the street to the train station and it can therefore be quite noisey at night, earplugs may be helpful for people with a light sleep. Besides this, pretty much everything was great.

  Comments: The room is really clean, the hosts are so warm and welcoming, and it is a great place to stay in a central location. Everything is within a short walking distance. Also, the house has video surveillance throughout the stairway and the door with a buzzer, so there is no chance of any strangers just walking in (made me feel really safe). The city in general makes you feel safe and it is really a nice place to visit. Luísa and Vitor are really making an effort to make their guests feel like home and that is exactly what I felt like staying in their house.

A beautiful patisserie is right beneath the pension with the best 'pastels' and original antique interior, next to it a very fine grocery store run nu an old lovely couple with fine food and drinks at very low prices, Sao Bento station is opposite the pension: one of Porto's many highlights Above all, Vitor and his wife are very welcoming and love each other for ever to come!

Pulito e tranquillo grazie anche a Vitor per il suo controllo dello stabile. Inoltre si è dimostrato sempre disponibile e preciso per consigli su Porto. Consiglio a tutti. Unico neo come presente nelle foto, il bagno é in camera e se si divide la stanza con una persona con cui non si ha confidenza, può risultare un problema. Per il resto super consigliato.

Salle de bain dans la chambre séparée par un simple rideau, agréable pour avoir son espace mais un peu moins pour l'odeur !   Comments: Had a great stay at Vitor's, he is a very intelligent and passionate man that talks about his city with a lot of love. He gave me a fantastic rundown on all the places to go and see. The room was very clean and big but most of all I loved having my own shower, sink and toilet. The location is ideal, across from Sao Bento train station and a short walking distance to everything. I recommend without hesitation.

  Comments: The apartment is amazing located, right next to the train station and metro station at Sao Bento. The location is pretty much the most central part of town, with all the must see local sights ( which Vitor kindly pointed out on our arrival) 10 minutes top from here. Its very good value for money, no thrills, clean accommodation. If visiting, you must visit the pastelaria downstairs, itself and its cakes are very attractive and taste as good as they look. One thing to consider, if you have difficulty sleeping in noisey environments, the apartment is located in the centre, next to a train station. So expect a little noise.

  Comments: This is probably the best place to stay in Porto. It’s very close to the Sao Bento Station. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable, with private WC and shower. We also enjoyed our balcony with a view of the beautiful old station on Sao Bento. The pension is close to restaurants and cafes. Everything is walking distance! Vitor is absolutely the best host. He has a lot of recommendations that we enjoyed. Communication and check-in were a breeze. I recommend Vitor and his pension in Porto. I would definitely come back and stay again there!

  Comments: Die Lage: Wirklich direkt in der Innenstadt und 30 m von einer Ubahn Station entfernt, großartig! Die Gastgeber: Sprechen Deutsch, Englisch und Französisch und sind wahnsinnig hilfsbereit und herzlich! Sie haben sich viel Zeit genommen uns Tipps bezüglich Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten zu geben und haben sich sehr lieb um uns gekümmert, auch mit zusätzlichen Decken, weil es im Herbst nachts im Zimmer recht kalt werden kann. Zimmer: Sehr sauber, Größe völlig ausreichend und Bad im Zimmer war für uns überhaupt kein Problem! Wir würden jederzeit sehr gerne wiederkommen! Absolut zu empfehlen!

Also the place is quite noisy. If you are staying here outside the cold period it might be worth it due to its location. But be aware the place is quite noicy.

  Comments: Room was as described and the owners are friendly and multilingual, which impressed me. Location is perfect, directly near the train station. My only problem with this room was its very thin windows, which means you hear everything outside and cold air gets in in winter. Many sheets are provided, which makes sleeping alright, but taking a shower was a rather freezing affair. I would recommend this in spring and summer. In winter only if you have spent time in the army ;)

  Comments: La gentilezza dell'ospite merita 5 stelle, è anche troppo sollecito quando qualcuno vuol starsene per conto proprio. Per il resto la stanza è come descritto e corrisponde al prezzo piuttosto basso. Ubicazione ottima, 5 stelle. Stanza pulitissima, 5 stelle. Ma il fatto che manchi il riscaldamento e che il sole non ci arrivi mai provoca, oltre al freddo (sei coperte necessarie sul letto in giornate dal clima primaverile), una grande umidità: tornato in Italia, il pigiama che avevo usato odorava di umido. Quando sono arrivato la camera non era pronta, e lampadine fulminate non erano state sostituite. Una notte lo scarico del WC non funzionava perché l'ospite si era dimenticato di aprire il rubinetto dell'acqua. In sintesi: ubicazione e pulizia ottime. Ospite gentilissimo, un po' naive. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono.

  Comments: The guest house run by Victor, a very kind and helpful man, is conveniently located at Sao Bento. The building is a bit run down but acceptable. Ok, I know you get what you pay for, and the price is quite low, but I am sorry to say that I would never recommend this accommodation: it was so cold I had to sleep completely pressed under four heavy blankets and I couldn't even think of having a shower. I guess a basic electric heater would solve the problem.

  Comments: O Host nos fez pagar uma taxa que não existe, e que não estava citada no anúncio. Tivemos que realizar o pagamento antes de entrar no quarto, então demos o dinheiro ao Host já que não tínhamos outra opção de lugar para ficar na cidade. Após o ocorrido enviei uma mensagem ao Airbnb explicando o ocorrido, oque me informou que eu não devo realizar nenhum pagamento extra, pois é contra a política do Airbnb, e que fariam uma comunicação disso ao Host. Tentamos falar com o Host, mas este não quis fazer a devolução do nosso dinheiro. Podem imaginar o quanto ficamos irritados e desconfortáveis durante a estadia. Fiquem atentos as cobranças indevidas para turistas.

  Comments: Vitor est un hote très sympathique, la chambre est basique mais il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour y dormir, peut être un peu bruyant une heure dans la soirée à cause des mouettes mais cela est indépendant de la volonté de l'hôte ou bien parfois quelques bruits de voisinage étant donné que la chambre se trouve coté gare mais cela reste correcte. L'emplacement est idéal, vous pouvez pratiquement visiter tout à pieds ou bien vous avez la station de métro et de la gare juste au pied de l immeuble.

  Comments: Zimmer war wie beschrieben. Nur von dem Foto mit der offenen Haustür sollte man sich nicht täuschen lassen. Gastgeber vertrauen nicht und kontrollieren mit Kameras und Spiegeln wer das Haus betritt und sich in ihm bewegt. Merkwürdiger Airnbnb Gedanke. Wer Überwachung statt Vertrauen mag, ist hier richtig.   Comments: My wife and I stayed at Vitor's for a few nights and we did like the place. Everything was at our service, we could get inside at any time of the night. Well, we saw photos of facilities behind curtains - no big problem at this price, especially for solo travelers. Also we weren't bothered much by noises despite the neighborhood of a railway station. Besides, Vitor is a very nice person, friendly and kind. All in all, Porto is a great town. Thank you, Vitor!

It's location was so perfect that everything is really accessible- from tourist spots to food and stores. Vitor and his family were also down to earth and really accomodating.   Comments: The hotel is very nice, quiet, calm, very well located. Vitor welcomed me very well and was very reactive in the preliminary communication. The only negative point is that mosquitoes enter through the interstices of the window (old windows) at night. But my stay was very pleasant. The room is spacious and well equipped. I would suponer these beautiful people again the place- remove your tiara and expectations b4 you check in. The balcóny is a french door that opens to the street, but dont leave the door open very long . the bathroom is in the bedroom- no walls. Fine for a single, but if you are traveling with another, you better be good friends. the place is in a stellar locación for the price.

  Comments: Gli alloggi di Victor, si trovano nel pieno centro della città di Porto, al lato della stazione di Sao Bento, nei pressi della fermata della metro Sao Bento. Rispecchiano correttamente le fotografie, sono completi di tutto l'occorrente, lenzuola, cuscini, coperte, carta igienica. Victor è estremamente gentile e sempre disponibile ad accontentare gli ospiti. Posto consigliato!

  Comments: Vitor est un super hôte, toujours présent pour donner des conseils sur la ville! Il parle français et anglais également. La chambre était conforme à ce qui était annoncé, et réellement à 1 min du métro ou du bus. De ma fenêtre je voyais l’entrée de la gare, on ne peut pas faire plus dans le centre! Super séjour, je recommande fortement ce lieu et son hôte!

  Comments: Old building, on the second floor, no elevator, perfect location, tricky advice on visiting the city, eating and so on, great hospitality. Just you should know that it has no heating, and in winter it could be colder than outside as the building is old made of granite which is comment in Porto. You would get blanket as much as you want but no heating.
