Summary: Come enjoy the vibrant beauty of Manhattan’s last real neighborhood. I have the perfect place to live like a real New Yorker living in the East Village AND you have your own large private garden, which is an EXTREME rarity around here. The apartment is super cute and filled with art from my friends that live around here (you can even buy some if you want to take home some local art)
Space: There is two super comfy memory foam Queen beds and a full sized memory foam bed/cuddle area in the living room if you want to squeeze in a 5th person or just want to lounge. The apartment is a great base for all our long nights, culinary and flirting adventures or a if you want easy access to an amazing area while having to go to work during the day. The East Village is really vibrant at night (loud), but since we face the back side of the building it’s a million times better and I get the best sleep I’ve ever had in the area. I have everything you need to make your stay nice. Clean, fluffy towels, wash clothes, tea, French press, coffee, strong shower head with plenty of hot water. The heat is great in the cold months. There is a full kitchen. The apartment is about 650sqft, which is pretty good for around here, when many people are basically living in large closets. It is on the 1st floor and there are one set of stairs to get to the apartment and garden. There is no elevator. You’

Comments: What an excellently located apartment situated in the Village! Minutes from nationally recognized eateries, lively nightlife, convenience stores, and of course shopping. Morning walks to Starbucks bookends very well late night escapades! Is as advertised: Highly recommended.

Comments: Nickeesa's place was exactly what we needed! Perfectly located in walking distance to LES and soho. There is a Duane Reade on the same block which was so convenient. The back patio is very nice and we were lucky enough to have good weather in February to sit out there! Nickeesa provided clean towels and makeup wipes for us which was super nice. The hosts are quick to respond and helpful and even helped me take my suitcases down the stairs during a checkout (which they also let me do late). I would definitely stay here again.

Comments: Apartment was perfect for us, great location to use to explore the city, and very homely inside, with two very large and comfortable beds. The area feels safe but vibrant with a great nightlife Nickeesa was an excellent host, great communication and Sahir who checked us in was perfect too, allowing us to arrive earlier than previously agreed.

Comments: I loved how close it was to great restaurants and nightlife we never had to take a taxi or Uber to have a good time.

Comments: Lovely apartment in a fantastic location. I visited with three friends for a long weekend and this apartment really was perfect for what we needed - plus it has a garden which is almost unheard of in Manhattan! It's right round the corner of all the bars and restaurants in the LES and just two blocks from the subway so we couldn't really ask for more. Highly recommend.

Comments: Great location, love the outdoor space which is rare in NYC. Only one issue, the air conditioner was not in and the weather was unseasonably hot. Good communication with Nickeesa to try and resolve the issue, would definitely recommend a stay here.

Comments: The apartment was in a great location and as advertised in the pictures. Very clean on arrival. If you are planning to use the third bedroom, confirm with host beforehand as we weren't provided linen for this. A negative point is that the Airbnb lister isn't the owner so wasn't able to help us when we were locked out of the apartment due to a faulty lock.

Comments: Good location but would need some renovation. Not very clean (towels were stained, bathroom not that clean, had to wash all silverware, plates, etc) and kitchen has very limited ustensil (can barely prepare pasta). It's NYC but expect a little bit more...

Comments: Nickeesa's place is great for a stay in NYC. The location is perfect for enjoying the amazing East Village and is close to a few subway stops. The apartment is accurately represented in the photos - beds were comfy, air con worked well and it was pretty quiet at night (rare for NYC!). Would definitely return.

Comments: Fantastic location. Exactly where I'd want to stay in NY. Price was high, but that's NY for you. Apartment is a pretty typical lower east side NY apartment, meaning cheap fixtures, bathroom that is perfectly serviceable but cheap tiles and fixtures, etc. It had some nice pictures on the wall. The outdoor area was quite nice to have access to. Communication was clear and direct. Nickeesa was nice enough to let us check in an hour early and leave our bags 2 hours after checkout, which was very helpful.

Comments: Great location, comfortable beds and quiet due to the fact that it faces the courtyard. Bathroom and kitchen need a lot of attention and updates. A sofa would be nice to sit on after a long day so if you don't plan to cook or spend anytime inside other that sleeping, it may be a good fit for you.

Comments: Great location in NYC. Was central to bars, restaurants and shopping and we could not have asked for me. Would only suggest (as a female) it would have been nice to have more than one towel for your face or something heavier than a decorative pillow to sleep on. Also, there are no blankets or pillows for the 'third' bed.

Comments: This apartment is well-located, in a good spot for exploring the city. Beds were comfortable but cheap poly-cotton bedding that crackles with static is horrible to sleep in. Towels were nice and fluffy, and plenty of hot water, but there were no plants at all - unlike in the photos, and there was even a dead one in a cracked old pot in one bedroom that hadn't been removed, and was taking up valuable space. The light switches were brown with grime, one of the bathroom lights flickered constantly, and continual static from the bedside light meant we didn't use it. No comforter was provided for the extra bed, despite my request in advance for bedding. And the fridge, which is in the other sleeping area was extremely noisy. Basically, with a little bit of investment, this could be a really great rental. But for now, there are too many corners being cut.

Comments: We stayed at Nickeesa's apartment for 6 days and it was wonderful. The space is super comfortable and spacious for New York standards. The bedrooms are comfortable and although there is a closet only in one of them, there is another storage/closet right in the living room for extra space. The kitchen is nice but desperately needs an upgrade of pans and pots - the ones available are unusable. The neighborhood is full of life with cafes, delis, restaurants, and bars in every single block. We had a great time and when back in NYC we will definitely stay at this apartment.

Comments: The apartment is not very cozy and warm. My colleague and I stayed there in March, when it's still cold outside, and there were huge holes in the window, because the air conditioner was inserted there. At my request, the owner took out the air conditioner and closed the window. The bathroom is very dirty and the drainage of the water is bad - when you take a shower all the time you have to stand on the ankle in dirty water, it's very unpleasant. The apartment is suitable for 1-2 nights, but we stayed there for a week and it wasn't pleasant. Neighbors next door constantly smoked marijuana and a strong smell reached the apartment. and on the ground floor of the neighboring house is a nightclub and loud music lasts until 5 am. I had to use earplugs every night. it's not the fault of the owners, but it's just important to know those who plan to stay in this apartment

Comments: Nickeesa's place is conveniently located--which is probably the best aspect of this place. It is super close to the Lower East Side and easily walkable to so many fun spots! Nickeesa was quick and responsive with questions, she was not able to accommodate our request to drop our bags early but was kind enough to recommend a service that would allow us to hold our bogs before check in. The place is simple and doesn't have that "lived in" vibe, it is comfortable and clean and would recommend as it also has a nice patio for when you're not out and about.

Comments: The apartment is well placed in East Village and a lovely area to stay if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. However, this is the apartment's only redeeming feature. We were advised the wrong address on our paperwork which caused us initial confusion and then although the check-in was straight forward and the host's friend was really lovely, there was no information about the area (maps, restaurants etc) which are usually available when booking through Air B&B. The apartment was grubby, particularly the fixtures and fittings in the bathroom and the floors, overall it felt grubby and gloomy. Both beds were clean and comfortable, but the light switch for one of the bedrooms was by the front door and there was limited storage for clothes (one closet in one of the bedrooms) with not even bedside tables in one of the bedrooms. The apartment did not smell too good so we bought scented candles to mask it. I would not recommend using the outside space as it was shared and above a yard which looked less than inviting. The other tenants were sometimes noisy and you can hear people showering and brushing their teeth. If you just want somewhere to sleep and change the place was OK, although would suggest a hotel as an alternative. Unfortunately we were underwhelmed and disappointed.

Comments: After being stuck last minute and looking for a place to stay with our four kids, this place came through perfectly. Walkable to a number of different subways and the bus, and in the heart of the trendy and traditional lower east side. The host was able to accommodate an early check-in, and had someone meet us with the keys. Worked perfectly for our needs.

Comments: The apartment was wonderful and it was nice to have a few bedrooms instead of one room like a hotel. The A/C blew cold which was nice because it was unseasonably warm in NYC when we were there. The apartment was cute and clean. Walking distance to several restaurants. The pizza place down the street was pretty good for a late night snack. Duane Reader on the other street was helpful to pick up drinks and water and snacks. Apartment was quiet and there was a cute patio to sit and drink your morning coffee.

Comments: I spent 10 days with 3 friends in this apartment. On our arrival we found it clean and all the essential were available. The apartment is very well located, a lot interesting sites can be reached by walking and several metro stations are just few minutes away. The cost/value ratio is excellent, I'd suggest this apartment to anyone visiting NYC.

Comments: You will find everything you need in this apartment! My family of four stayed there comfortably during the summer (the air conditioning units in the bedrooms were life savers because of the hot NYC summer). The kitchen and common areas had all of the basics and the apartment itself was pretty quiet which surprised all of us (in a positive way of course!).

Comments: Nickeesa's apartment perfectly matched our needs. the location was amazing, a walking distance from the Soho. when we needed something from Nickeesa during our stay, we sent an email via Airbnb, she quickly replied and handle, very easily. the apartment was comfortable - the beds were very comfy, the garden was a bonus. the kitchen and the bathroom are old but we didn't really cook anything there so it did not bother us. all in all - the apartment was just what we needed and wanted and I will defenitely recommend it to my freinds.

Comments: We stayed in the apartment for just over a week and loved it! The apartment was clean, quiet and had everything we could need for our stay. Loved the location and the fact the subway was so close by. Samira responded quickly to any questions we had and was so helpful. I would totally recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay away from the hustle and bustle of midtown but still wants to be close enough to everything. Comments: Great place, Great location. Cozy and clean. Communication was superb, Samira was very friendly, instructions were easy to understand and apartment was just as the photos portrayed. Our stay was in the winter and the apartment slept warm. There is no thermostat so the only way to regulate temperature was how wide the window was left open - a non issue for us however you are in the city and the city sounds come more alive with the windows open. If you are considering this place, I highly recommend it, our experience was awesome!

Hosts were very accommodating too with great communication so I would recommend their place.
