  Comments: A great place with absolutely amazing hosts! They left us food, directions for the whole house, and gave us rides to the train station. They were extremely welcoming and helpful. The place itself is spacious and comfortable, close by bus stops to all areas of Sydney. Right by a great park. Would recommend to anyone, we loved our stay!

  Comments: Kathy's place locates at the heart of the city, we are close to everything from restaurants, parks to the famous tourist spots. The house is new, clean, well equipped. We get everything we need. It is so comfortable that we feel like being home during our stay. Kathy and Mary are great hosts. They helped us everything we asked for and gave us timely response. They are warm hearted and helpful which makes the whole experience so much nicer and memorable. Whenever we have the chance to come back we will book Kathy's place again, for sure.

  Comments: My husband and I throughly enjoyed our stay at 'Kathy's place'. We choose this particular Airbnb due to its fantastic location. It is literally a stone throw from the incredible Centennial Park, Park of choice for our two young children. Kathy's place is perfect, it's modern and clean. I felt truly at home. Kathy provided us with complimentary basics (bread, milk, biscuits etc.) which after a long drive to Sydney was bliss! The bed is incredibly comfortable and if you are like me and enjoy a great shower, then you will LOVE the shower nozzle!!! Can not recommend Kathy's place more, we will without doubt be staying there again when we are next visiting Sydney. Absolutely awesome!

  Comments: Kathy's place is nice and clean as described. Well located to a few things if you are ok with taking uber rides then shouldn't be an issue. Provided some snacks and drinks which was a really nice touch. Never had any issues.

  Comments: Kathy’s place was such a good choice for a family. It was close to a convenient store and bus stop so getting to Coogee beach and cbd was easy and fast. It was also super close to the airport. This could be a perfect location for people who are doing lots of day trips outside the city and who like being central from all tourist attractions. We could tell Kathy thought about great hospitality. There are everything you need in the house. A huge and beautiful park is right in front of the house so you can run and exercise too. It’s great for longer stay too.

  Comments: Kathy is a very welcome host, if you need everything you can just knock on the door. She prepared milk, drinks and snacks for us, which save us on our first day. Definitely recommend to stay here. Close to the park so very good view, transport is also convenient by bus. The place is incredibly clean and smells great.

  Comments: We recently stayed in Kathy's place as a base for our 2 months in Australia - It is in a great location opposite the beautiful Centennial Park. Kathy was an amazing host and made us feel very welcome - nothing was any trouble for her and there were lots of extra touches, including welcome provisions in the fridge and pantry and even cleaning and bathroom products too. The apartment itself was spacious, well furnished and immaculate, with a lovely comfy bed and a fantastic shower. We hope to see Kathy again on our next visit and would certainly recommend staying there.

  Comments: I stayed in Kathy’s place for three weeks and the overall experience was wonderful. Kathy is super friendly and thoughtful. She always responds to questions and needs timely, but you also have enough privacy as you have your own entrance. The place has all the basic kitchen stuff, so it’s ideal for people who’d like to cook themselves. The location is unbeatable as well. I would definitely recommend this place.

Very close to Randwick Racecourse, Coogee beach and shops. I will definitely stay here again if I’m in the same area of Sydney.

  Comments: Kathy’s home in Randwick is perfect if you want something close to Sydney but gives you the option to enjoy the towns nearby. The bus into Sydney is almost outside the house, so this provides a link to the rest of the extensive public transport system (a tram service will be available soon too). Opposite Kathy’s house is the most amazing Centennial Park; lakes, walks, fantastic wildlife (including flying foxes roosting in the trees!) and a tasty coffee and snack mean you can spend a happy hour enjoying the peace and tranquility. There is so much to see and do in Sydney you will never be bored. We bought tickets for a performance at the Opera House, took ferry rides and walked miles around the streets. The Rocks and Bangaroo are beautiful and fascinating if you are interested in history, social change and architecture. Bangaroo Reserve is ‘must see’! Outside of the CBD are many other towns some with lovely seaside fronts and beaches. The bus to Coogee Beach is about five minutes away and takes you right to the promenade with shops, cafes and glorious golden sands in less than twenty minutes. Kathy is always on hand if you need some help and advice but you have your own space and privacy. A great place for exploring Sydney and the surrounding areas.

  Comments: Kathys place was as described and she was a friendly host. There are lovely new appliances, beautiful wooden floor boards and a super comfortable couch. The upstairs space is lovely although I did hit my head on the slopes a couple of times and I wished the windows over the bed opened. I also found the mirror too low for me to do my makeup! The main thing that could have been improved for my stay was that I had picked the place because of the floorboards rather than carpet because I have severe asthma and allergies. Every time I stay somewhere I also have to ask hosts to clean with only bicarbonate soda/vinegar or water and ask for anything fragranced to be removed. I also asked if she used scented laundry powder. Kathy assured me that she understood my needs because her son was asthmatic. However I arrived to an automatic air ”freshener” IN in the house, two stinky bamboo stick diffusers hidden in drawers and extremely fragranced bed linen and towels. This meant that for the first night I had to wear a mask and try to air the place. To sleep I had to remove the pillow cases and cover with my own clothes and try not to breathe when using the towels. The whole experience made my asthma much worse and meant I was uncomfortable and un-well for the entire stay. As an Airbnb host myself I think that the host community need to take requests such as these by guests very seriously and start to prioritize the need for clean and chemical free air over the need to “fragrance” a space.
