Comments: A very well kept house in birchgrove and only a few minutes walk to buses into the city or a slightly longer walk to the ferry. The check in and out process was managed really well. Good size with a nice courtyard space. A pleasure to stay there.

Comments: Brilliant 2 bedroom place perfect for a short stay in Balmain. The house is close to Darling street shops and there is a bus stop about 5 mins walk that goes directly into CBD. Theres also a ferry stop which is about 10mins walk and we used that once for an alternative route into town. Theres a pleasant park down the road with fantastic views onto harbour bridge from Birchgrove. The house itself is high spec with everything we needed and we loved using the courtyard for breakfast. Host was excellent and they installed an air con in the living room which worked out really well given the hot summer in Sydney at the time. Couldn't fault the place- highly recommended.

Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at the property in Birchgrove, and we were able, very easily, to make it our home for the 3 weeks we were there in late Summer.... The property was very comfortable, well equipped, and had a great contemporary feel behind the unassuming facade... its location, is well positioned to explore Sydney, with great bus and ferry transport links all of which made our stay on the Balmain peninsular very enjoyable. The local area has many great shops, cafes, restaurants and bars to discover too... it has a lovely village feel. We were met at the property when we arrived by an agent, who made our arrival very easy, and then replied to our texts very promptly during our stay... He was also able to arrange a later check out time, which really helped with our onward journey. A great stay.... and highly recommended listing...

Comments: Good location if you're looking for proximity to Balmain & transport to city. Good kids room downstairs. A selection of toys too. No problems with communication etc. Currently no curtains on the windows in the main bedroom which meant we didn't sleep well, hopefully the owner will remedy this.

Comments: Cute family house with a bit of style and artsiness. 5-10mn walk to Darling St restaurants and grocer, 15-20mn walk to ferry. Plenty of buses to take you into town. Quiet hood close to CBD with a clear hip factor but not trendy. Great communication with very nice property manager. Super clean. Only complaints would be the hard pillows (we both got stiff necks), slippery bathtub (but it’s a great size!), no bedroom door so not private if anyone’s downstairs (the stairs lead up to an open bedroom), great heat but rises up to the bedroom so if you want to warm up the downstairs it gets really hot in the bedroom (hard to balance the two), they’ve covered the bedroom window with a nice shade but it doesn’t cover the awkwardly shaped diagonal window so light comes in at one corner (we covered that spot with a pillow). Overall a good stay but does have its small quirks.
