  Comments: I rented this apt while my own apt down the street was being renovated and I can't recommend it highly enough. The hosts we're so warm and welcoming and did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible! The apt is spotlessly clean and tidy and huge!! It has all amenities you could ask for. Location is great with a short walk to the subways and a couple of bus routes. I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be telling my friends about it.

  Comments: Our stay was totally convenient and the hoster Ravanna Blue-El was very wellcoming and made us feel at ease. The appartement is well located with the subway within walking distance about 7-10 minutes. Furthermore are the rooms very clean and nicely decorated. Everything which you need is provided, it has a TV, Wifi, towels and the kitchen is well equiped and so on. The neighbourhood is another plus, the house very close to an organic super market and to cosy caffees as well as restaurants with delicious food. For all this reason, I totally recommand a stay in by Ravanna Blue-El.

  Comments: Ravanna was a great host. He looked after us extremely well and made our time truly wonderful. We were a large group and initially wanted to book 2 separate places but Ravanna let us book only 1 and added more beds into the apartment so that we could stay in one place. He was very helpful when we were there. The apartment was just like it was in the pictures, complete with free wifi and cable tv. The apartment was also very close to grocery stores and subway stations. We were able to shop for and cook food. f we ever have to stay in New York in the future, we'll only contact Ravanna.

  Comments: The place was just as shown in the pictures. Ravanna was super responsive, though we never actually met him. His brother Jedda let us in, gave us keys and explained what was nearby in the neighborhood. He was kind and we could tell we were in good hands. One thing that was stellar was there were a ton of beds! Aside from the 3 full beds described, there are at least 4-5 twin fold up cots that would be perfect for larger parties. All in all, great stay and great hosts. Thanks friends!

  Comments: The place is clean and comfy. No luxurious, but enough. Great location, near to various subway stations and bus stops. You'll be in Manhattan within 20-30 minutes. You are 10 minutes from Williamsburg, which was great for me since the nightlife there is awesome. Bedford Stuyvesant is a very safe neighborhood, with small jewels like cozy bars, cafes, wineries, restaurants and friendly people (this one a rare condition in manhattan new yorkers). A boheme experience if you are looking for more than the traditional touristic experience. Ravanna is accessible, always pending on your needs, but never overwhelming. Stay here and you will become an instant Brooklyn lovah'!

  Comments: I just got back from a 4 night stay in NYC at Ravanna & Jetta's location and it was absolutely wonderful! I didn't meet Ravanna directly, as it was his brother Jetta who was taking care of my stay, but let me tell you, he could not have been a more warm, lovely, and hospitable host! I was travelling with my parent's and my dad managed to get the sink stopper stuck in the kitchen sink (of course) - Jetta was 100% understanding and instantly fixed it! When I arrived he also gave me some great tips on where to eat and pick up things like groceries and alcohol, which was really helpful (I needed a good drink after a long day of travelling!). The apartment itself is exactly as it looks in the photos! Everything was freshly cleaned when we arrived, and the comfortable beds were a welcoming site after my parents were delayed up in Toronto for a number of hours. The apartment is EXTREMELY quiet, and we never heard anyone else in the building, even though we were told there was a group staying below us, which was absolutely wonderful. Everything about booking and staying at this location was quick, easy, and very pleasant. I would highly recommend this location to anyone who doesn't want to be in Manhattan and is looking for a more "local" feel to their stay in NYC. With that being said, my parents and I found travelling up or down Bedford (instead of Nostrand) was much better, especially at night to and from the subway lines. The A line was closed for most of the time that we were there, so we ended up taking the G line from Bedford-Nostrand and then connecting to the L line at Lorimer into Manhattan for most of the time we were there and actually really enjoyed that commute, as it allows you to jump off at Williamsburg (Bedford stop on the L line) on your way into Manhattan! I hope to be back in NYC in the next few years and would feel great about staying at this location again :)

  Comments: We'd like to thank our hosts for a wonderful stay. The apartment was comfortable and clean. The master bedroom was very large and provided us with lots of space to spread out. The second bedroom was smaller but our friends did not seem to complain. The beds in both rooms were all prepared for our arrival and were very comfortable. My only complaint about the bedrooms is that the window shades did not really provide much shelter from daylight in the early morning. Not great for a light sleeper. The kitchen was well equipped but quite small. I imagine this is normal for NYC apartments and we managed quite easily with the limited space. We were not anticipating cooking for a party of 10 so the kitchen suited our needs quite well. The living room was very spacious and clean. We were two couples and we had plenty of space to relax and kick back after a long day out in the city. The wireless internet provided was very useful to plan our dinners and sightseeing routing. The large flat screen tv kept us entertained during March Madness while we waited for the girls to get back from shopping. The Norstrand stop for the A and C lines was a 5 minute walk away and took us into Manhattan within 15 minutes. Taxis on Bedford street were readily available to take us to Williamsburg for some delicious dinners and good bars. Lastly, the towels provided for us were amazing. I stay in hotels on a weekly basis and these towels were the softest ones I have ever used. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back again. Any questions or issues were addressed quickly.

  Comments: Our stay was great, the house was clean and everything was working perfectly: Internet, TV, heating system, hair dryer, housewares. Jedda, Ravanna's brother, was always very helpful, he was waiting for us in the house to give us the keys. On the second day, the kitchen faucet broke, but Jedda repaired at the same day. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood, has two nearby metro stations and a bus stop at the corner. It also has a mini market nearby with excellent quality products. I'll recommending this home to all my Brazilian friends who want to stay in NY.

  Comments: Great place, great host, great experience! Ravanna's brother was waiting for us upon arrival even with us getting in 2 hours later than planned in the middle of the night. The place was perfect for us, clean and tidy and even extra fold aways when the kids decided their was no way they were going to sleep in the same bed as their sibling. Everything we needed was right there. The place was quiet enough for my husband to even finish writing a paper while we played in the city. Grocery stores close by within a few minutes walk. Subway was a close walk as well making it easy to get into the city even with the kids. YMCA just around the corner. Our host was very accommodating and easily accessible. We'd definitely stay here again!

Sometimes, it's too exhausted to walk home after a long day walk in New York city. The host, Ravanna's brother, was nice and friendly:) You can absolutely choose this apt. for the vacation.

  Comments: Our hosts (Ravanna and his siblings who jointly own the house) were great. Jetta was there to greet us, made up an extra bed and told us about the neighborhood. They live on the first floor, so we're almost always available through text or e mail if we needed something. They were also very quick to respond.

  Comments: A great and clean apartment! We loved the Ravanna's place, it was beautiful, clean and functional apartment near to subway and grocery's stores. He helped us with a extra bed because we were five people and we were confortable. The neighbor is safety, we walked back to the apartment around 2am and had no problems. It's near to Manhattan. Jetta (Ravanna's brother) was the best host, he helped us to find the cell phone on the couch, gave us different chargers for cell phones and was friendly throughout. If you rent this place to stay, you'll not regret.

  Comments: The place was a great! Ravanna's brother, Jeddah, was very accommodating and greeted us when we came in late at night (12:30pm). He even let us check out late (noon) and stored our luggage for us in his room until our flight. The place was spacious and clean and within walking distance of restaurants and markets. If you are coming in late, be sure to check out Black Swan, they serve food until 3pm! This place is great for big groups, as there are plenty of fold out beds in the closet. It is a quiet street which is nice after a long day touring NYC. I would recommend this place to anyone vising NYC. It takes around 35-45 minutes with walking and subway to get to south central park in Manhattan. Taxi rides from Mid Manhattan to the place range about $30-$35. Our lyft ride was $38 from JFK to the house at night with no traffic.

  Comments: Ravanna was there to greet us and graciously carried one of our bags up the two flights of stairs as my travelling companion had unexpectedly injured her leg prior to coming to NYC. He showed us around and we were happy to see that the property was as displayed in the pictures on his site. The suite was spacious, clean, and the beds comfortable. All the comforts of home except a couple of wine glasses would have been nice. As it was, we roughed it by having our coffee mugs do double duty, lol! Lots of brochures and maps available to help make choices for places to eat and how to get around on the subway. The subway stop was about a 5-10 minute walk through a safe neighborhood. It takes anywhere from 25 to 45 minutes to get to downtown Manhattan, depending on the time of day you travel, with start and end of workday being the busiest (naturally). By the way, I would recommend buying the $30. subway card. We were there for 4 days and easily spent that much in single subway fares. There's a very well stocked supermart within walking distance and for Mexican we loved the huge tasty burritos at a quirky place called Taqueria Villa Pancho at 1047 Bedford, and another evening very much enjoyed dinner and wine across the street at a place called Black Swan (1048 Bedford). When we had a question, I wasn't able to get hold of Ravanna by phone or text after our initial meeting but when we resorted to ringing his doorbell we got the information we needed from another occupant of his home. I would stay in Ravanna's place again. Thank you for making your place available on airbnb!

  Comments: Lets start by saying that this apt is perfect for a short or long period of stay. plenty of room, clean and simply. Secondly and most importantly Ravanna is a amazing host. Due to our flight being super early, we were aloud to check our luggage in as soo as we landed and also he allowed us to check in a few hours early as we had been up over night. the location is perfect and very short walk to the train station. Area was safe (walked to Burger King at 2am and felt completely safe). Will be staying again same time next year.

  Comments: Ravanna is very friendly and helpful. When we arrived he explained everything and answered any questions we had. His brother Jeda also helped us early one morning when we encountered a problem with the toilet which he fixed up straight away! Our party of 4 enjoyed staying here as we had everything we needed in the apartment itself and it was close to shops, food places, the A train (which takes you straight into Manhattan) and a laundry place to do our washing. We found it very convenient for us. We often stayed out late past midnight and used the subway coming back at night which we found safe doing so. The apartment felt very spacious enough for 4 people and although the kitchen is a bit of a squeeze, we didn't find it an issue as it still allowed us to do what we needed and had everything! I would absolutely recommend staying here if your wanting to stay in Brooklyn and to have a great experience! Thanks again Ravanna for the accommadation!

He warmly welcomed us, showed us around and answered all our questions. He even had 2 sets of keys for us which made everything simpler for us. Our group enjoyed staying in their apartment. Nice hosts, clean and spacious place, close to subway stations, very fun & safe neighborhood, 2 bedrooms and a kitchen with everything we needed! My group and I all highly recommend this place as it was convenient to get to the airport and to Manhattan as well. We had a blast, thanks to the brothers!

  Comments: Both Ravanna and his brother Jede (not sure of the spelling) were great hosts! I was in a bit of a pinch and needed a last minute place to stay before a snowstorm for both me and my cats (Lettuce & Tomato). I booked the apartment early in the morning and within an hour they had the apartment ready for me. The apartment was located on one of those classic brownstone blocks and was clean, quite and spacious. It really did feel like a home. I am from Brooklyn so I can testify that in this home you will get the true Brooklyn experience. I hope to visit Ravanna's home again. Trevz AKA Subbnb

  Comments: Super tel que décrit confortable et propre nous n'avons pas vu l'hôte mais quelqu'un nous a reçu a notre arrivée malgré un retard de notre part. Le métro est a 10 minute de marche. Épicerie et bus au coin de la rue. Par contre si vous y aller en voiture le stationnement pourrais être difficile au moment de l'arrivée et il faut changer de côté de rue pour respecter les heure de nettoyage . Utiliser les bus et le métro vous gagnerai beaucoup de temps et d'argent. Idéal pour les grosse famille nous étions 3 adulte et 3 enfant de 5 à 10 ans . Allez-y et profiter de New-York.

  Comments: Ravanna was an excellent host. When our flight had to be rescheduled because of weather, Ravanna was extremely gracious and accommodating. The apartment was in a convenient location with several excellent restaurants close by and just a short walk to two subway stations. Only took us about 20 minutes to get into Manhattan and was a great location for the activities we had planned in Brooklyn. My husband and I traveled with another couple and there was more than enough room for the 4 of us. The apartment could easily have held even more.

  Comments: The upside of this apartment is that there are truly a ton of beds, so it was great that there was enough room to sleep my whole family. The major downside for me was that *very* strong cleaners, detergents, and air fresheners are clearly used to clean this place-- and the smell gave me pretty extreme nausea. I actually opted to stay elsewhere for part of the trip because being in the apartment was so unpleasant. Aside from the scent issue, the apartment itself was reasonably as represented. The furniture was a bit worn, and the doorknob and lock were flimsy, but if it hadn't been for the smell I believe we would have enjoyed our stay. I never actually met Ravanna-- his sister let us in, and his nephew (very nicely) brought us more blankets around midnight because I thought replacement blankets might smell less strongly of industrial detergent. However, he was incredibly responsible by phone and text. I think this would be a good place to stay for a big group of people planning to go to NYC and not spend a lot of time in the apartment (and who aren't sensitive to scents, obviously). Very sorry to give these nice people a 2-star review, but the apartment unfortunately didn't really meet our needs.

  Comments: Ravanna was very accommodating and friendly, offering us advice on how to get around in the city and being available for questions. The rooms were much larger than I was expecting, and the bathroom was nice and clean. She supplied clean linens and towels and overall made the trip very hassle-free. The neighborhood in Brooklyn was really cute and felt very safe, and was within walking distance of some restaurants and very close to public transit. I couldn't have asked for more.

  Comments: Ravanna's brother and sister were adorable with us during the 4 days we were there. They store our luggage during our last day and were really friendly. About the place : it was like it was announced, spacious, very clean, useful. The Wi-Fi works very well. They let us some guide of the city, the grocery is at the corner, the neighborhood is quite calm by contrast with NYC. It's a perfect place to stay when you want to visit New York City. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to visit NYC without being annoyed by the noise of the city which never sleeps. It was great ! Thanks to them for our holidays !

When we arrived we were given a tour of the apartment and were asked if we needed anything to make our stay more pleasurable. Then we were given directions to the nearest train station and convenience store in case we needed anything. The neighborhood was beautiful and peaceful. I would stay here again and do recommend it to any traveler staying in Brooklyn.

  Comments: My son and I stayed for a week and we had a very nice time staying at Ravanna's apartment. It was always a cozy place to return to after our NYC day trips. It was a true home away from home. Since our flight landed late I was a bit worried arriving much too late..but all went well and we received a warm welcome. The subway is quite close and you can get anywhere from there. Shops and restaurants are all around the place. My son was crazy about the sushi place around the corner. Thank you Ravanna!

  Comments: Everything about this place was great! We were greeted by Ravanna and she was very friendly. She showed us around the place and there was everything you needed to make yourself at home. She had the necessary beds out for us and they all had fresh linens, and there were plenty of towels too. The kitchen had all the necessary dishes and utensils to make meals; all you had to do was take the groceries. The place was clean and organized. We had no problem with this, but it might be helpful for others to know due to age or physical activity. We had the 3rd floor of the condo, so there are quite a bit of flight of stairs to climb, and the walk to the nearest sub station was about 6 blocks away. Other than that, this place is highly recommended!

  Comments: This was a really comfortable apartment with a good amount of space and a separate window A/C unit in each room, which was very much appreciated in the summer heat! Our hosts were super easy to work with, communicative and flexible, didn't ask for much from us on checkout. The kitchen is pretty tiny, just enough standing room for one person at a time, but as long as you aren't doing a ton of cooking, it has all the amenities you could want -- bagel-sized toaster, microwave, gas stove, full-size fridge, 6-cup auto-drip coffee maker. The shower was great. Tons of nice soft & clean towels/linens, ironing board and iron, even paid-subscription cable channels on a nice big-screen TV. We really enjoyed staying here and felt the hosts took great care of us. The property is within walking distance of a variety of grocery/convenience stores, a few restaurants/bars, and a few different subway stops. As a fairly naive tourist from Oregon, the neighborhood felt a little less safe than I would prefer, but without much NYC experience to compare it to, it's hard to say if that was just my imagination. We didn't have any issues and having my husband with me made it just fine.

  Comments: We did not meet Ravanna in person, but she was always available via cellphone to answer our questions. The apartment is just as described: it is very spacious and well equipped. Also, it is situated in a nice neigborhood, we always felt safe there. The metro is a 10 minute walk away and offers an excellent connection to Manhattan. There are grocery stores in the immediate vicinity of the apartment. A perfect place for exploring New York!

  Comments: The apartment was just perfect! So we were badly delayed from the airport and the host were so understanding and stayed in contact and was greeted so lovely when we arrived. The apartment was a 20 min walk from the subway which is great as the line took you straight in to lower Manhattan ( the subway is 24 hours so you don't need to worry about getting taxis or rushing out of the city before it closes ) The apartment was just as the pictures! They are lovely friendly hosts. There are local bar and food places just down the road! Couldn't rave about this place enough.. Definitely recommend!

The apartment is very well located, you can easily reach the subway station and there is many places to eat/drink in the area. A subway map was also provided to us to find quickly our way. It was very comfortable, and so nice to each have our own bed and common areas with a table and couch. Check in was very easy, and on our first night, we enjoyed some of the local bars and restaurants. It was also very easy to get to other parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan, with a short walk to the subway station. The street is very pretty, with lots of lovely Brownstones.   Comments: I came to Brooklyn for business and the apartment was perfect. It is well-located, with a well-equipped kitchen, large flat screen TV with loads of premium channels, fast wi-fi, and lots of beds. There is a large master bedroom, smaller 2nd bedroom, and enough beds and rollaways for a large group. The apartment is on the third floor which makes it quiet and above the street noise. The photos are accurate and the apartment is clean and well-equipped. The bathroom is updated and modern and has a great shower. The host was very attentive and communicated perfectly. He lives on the first floor and someone is always there to help... like when I locked myself out early in the morning. :) If there was anything that could be improved, the walls are a bit bare in the bedrooms and could use some more hanging decor, if that is what you like. Add high-end designer linens and some more art on the walls, and this place could rent for double the price and still be a great value. As it is, it is a super find!

The neighbourhood is typical for Brooklyn and we liked it very much to walk around and smell the atmosphere. The host was very responsive and friendly. We were with 5 persons. The apartment provides 3 double beds. As these are too small for two persons we had to use 2 stretch beds which were available in the apartment. Overall we had a great stay and got great value for money!

  Comments: 房子很不错,三层楼的第三层,和照片中一样干净温馨,每层楼都有独立的厨房和卫生间,厨房稍小,不过一般早餐煮个面煎个鸡蛋什么的完全没有问题｡主人房有两个1.5m宽的大床,而且还有很宽敞的空间可以加床垫,客人房也有个1.5m宽的大床｡ 地点距地铁A/C线Nostrand Av站步行15分钟,或者距G线Bedford Nostrand Av站步行10分钟,去曼哈顿交通还算方便｡其中A线是快线,只停大站｡ 出门左转几步路就到了Nostrand Ave,有很多食物超市或杂货店快餐店,可以很方便地买到鸡蛋､牛奶､面包､香肠､果汁､各种零食和简单的蔬菜｡ 出门右转到Bedford Ave走3个街区(走10分钟)就有个中国餐厅,提供炒饭､炒菜､面等,不过只能外卖,味道不错｡住处一楼有该餐厅的宣传单｡ 布鲁克林属于黑人比较多的区域,去地铁站的路上见到的大多数是黑人,但是这里还是安全的,晚上很安静,我们一大家子经常晚上9点多天黑了才回住处,也没发生什么｡ 房东不错,有问必答,但也不会打扰你,住了4天,很好的体验｡

Television is large and has good picture. Refrigerator and microwave were clean. Watch the next-to-top step of the stairs, which is spongy and should probably be repaired.

The location was perfect, to the left was the hood and to the right was the more gentrified side. We were also pretty close to subway stations and only 3 stops away from the Barclay Center. So also was with the daughter of the 1-year-old, it is the bath and the floor was glad very clean. It might fear a little security for the Japanese. But, it is a very safe place.   Comments: A very nice flat with all necessary facilities and a good location. Everything was nice and clean, plenty of space and very good kitchen with all appliances. The apartment is just 10 min walk from subway and you can take an express A line to Manhattan - takes about 20 minutes. There are some really good grocery shops nearby and the hosts left a bunch of take-away leaflets for us. They even left some umbrellas in the hall for us to use, as it was raining in New York that week. Communication was excellent - Ravanna was always available over the phone, and check-in and check-out were really straightforward and convenient. Would definitely recommend this place, as we enjoyed our stay there.

  Comments: Wir haben uns bei Ravanna sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung war ein Stockwerk unter der gebuchten Wohnung und war optisch ein wenig anders, der Schnitt war identisch. Für uns war es angenehmer, da wir mit einem Kleinkind gereist sind und nur ins erste OG gehen mussten. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich, die Wohnung schön eingerichtet und funktional. Die Anbindung an die Metrostation Nostrand ist perfekt, da man von dort mit den Linien A und C ohne Umstieg mitten ins Herz Manhattan fahren kann. Wenn wir wieder nach New York kommen sollten, werden wir diese Wohnung wieder buchen!

Es gibt auch Busse direkt vor der Tür, damit hatten wir leider zweimal jedoch Probleme, was aber nichts mit der Wohnung zu tun hat. Die Wohnung liegt im 2. Stock. Dies störte uns aber nicht, da wir bei 5 Tagen Au´fenthalt morgtens gegen 8 oder 9 die Wohnung verlassen haben und dann meistens erst um 22.00 Uhr wieder erschöpft zurückgekommen sind. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und Check-in ist sehr unkompliziert. Die beiden Betten im Mastres-Bedroom sind 1,40m breit, ebenso das Bett in einem relativ kleinem Schlafraum. Wir habn es dann so gelöst, dass unsere 4. Person im Wohnzimmer auf einem Gästebett geschlafen hat, was sehr gut geht. Das Bad ist sehr sauber und alles in Ordnung. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in kleinen Supermärkten / Shops direkt um die Ecke möglich, ebenso einfache Restaurants / Grills. In allen Räumen gibt es Klimaanlagen, die auch bei 33 Grad Celsius gut funktionierten. Wir haben Sie zumeist aber erst nachts angemacht, zum Einschlafen störte uns die Zugluft und die (normalen) Geräusche.

Aux alentours, il y a de nombreux petits commerces. nous n'avons ressenti aucune impression de danger même le soir. Il y a bien 7 vrais lits. On est à 10 mn en metro express du sud de Manhattan ( en metro omnibus, c'est à 20 mn ). Ne pas oublier que la surface de l'appartement ne fait que 70 m2, et que donc à 7 personnes la place est limitée pour les occupants, et que le mobilier en sus y est limité. On dormait à 4 dans la grande chambre, à 2 dans la petite chambre et une personne dormait dans le salon. détail : les ouvertures de 3 fenêtres comportent des systèmes d'air conditionné. Les photos publiées ne montrent pas le papier peint aux murs.

El baño esta muy bien (limpio y remodelado) la cocina tiene todo lo necesario y el living es amplio (cabe aclarar que hay AC en todos los ambientes). Lo único que puedo comentar es los 2 pisos (largos) que hay que subir por escalera (fui con mis padres) y el sillon se hundía un poco pero esta bien para pasar un rato. TV y Wi-Fi muy buenos. Super recomendable por el precio.

Spacious apartment with comfortable beds, great wifi and excellent TV. Kitchen area a bit cramped for those of us who like to cook and eat in rather than eating out and use takeaways. Living area a bit rundown and shabby, and the couch could certainly have done with a valeting. Unfortunately previous guests had smoked a lot of something in the apartment and, while Ravanna and her brother attempted to give the apartment a good airing, the smell persisted. We were three older guests and concluded that the apartment was more suited to partying younger people who would be out most of the time.

  Comments: It was our first time using AirBnB. We initially had a reservation with another house, but when we arrived, we could not get in contact with the owner. After trying to contact them numerous times, we eventually decided to contact AirBnB directly. They handled it very well, offering to refund a night for us to find a hotel, or we could try to contact another AirBnB in the neighborhood, that's where Ravanna comes in. He graciously accepted us literally minutes before we got to his place. He saved our trip and it was only a block down from where we originally planned on staying. He had a very nice home. Had towels and necessities available, a kitchen with cooking utensils, plenty of bedding to choose. Overall a great stay. Highly recommend.

The apartment is on the third floor & the stairs are quite narrow and steep so have to be a bit careful. Our second floor neighbour smoked a lot of weed so the whole house stank (however it didn't bother us too much since we were out early in the morning & came back late at nights just to sleep).

  Comments: This is a standard case of you get what you pay for. Super affordable place for large parties to stay which is a huge plus. The amenities are bare basics and nothing fancy. Rooms are a good size for NYC. Some pieces of furniture were well worn, others seem brand new. Appears the host is continuing to make improvements, which is great. It is a pretty far walk from the A line, but still felt pretty safe even late at night. Street was also very quiet. There are grocery stores at each end of the block, which was convenient. We had some frustration with the fitted sheets coming off every night, leaving us sleeping on the uncovered mattress, which appeared new, but still not a pleasant situation. I encouraged the host to get mattress covers for the beds and some deeper pocketed sheets. Hopefully they do. Host did not respond to any form of contact when we accidentally locked ourselves out one morning. After a couple of hours with no return contact, we eventually called a locksmith. We buzzed the first floor apartment to ask them to let us through the main door, and it turned out to be the host who gave us a spare set of keys but we still ended up having to pay the locksmith because for driving to the location. Host never mentioned us trying to contact him. Summary: cheap place to stay in Brooklyn. Worth what they charge.

  Comments: We had a great experience in Ravanna’s place. It is exactly as pictured and in a very nice and safe area of Brooklyn. The subway is a 15min walk (the main line that takes you to Manhattan) and again, very safe. We had no issues with the apartment. It had all we need to cook and eat at home. The train ride to Manhattan is about 35/40min. Overall, the only issue I had is that in the post it does not say its in the 3rd floor, and I was avoiding places like that because I had an elderly person with me. Other than that, great place, easy check in and check out, nice area!

In close proximity of several main metro lines directly to all important parts of Manhattan. Compared to our European norms, the beds are rather small, but very comfortable. Especially after an entire day of walking down NYC, you are glad you have such a good bed. 1 room is rather small, but you need it to sleep, not to dance. The access to the key upon arrival was clearly explained in a message, so we had immediate access to the apartment. Whenever we're coming back to NY, we will definitely check the availability of this apartment again!

  Comments: Nous avons passé un très bon séjour de 3 jours. L’appartement de Ravanna est très bien situé à Brooklyn dans un quartier calme où on peut se garer, ce qui est appréciable. Ensuite Métro! L’aménagement est bien conçu avec une grande chambre pour enfants ou couple avec enfants et une chambre pour couple. Il dispose de l’équipement nécessaire pour un séjour en famille. Le processus d’entrée est automatisé et fonctionne très bien. En revanche nous n’avons eu aucun échange avec personne ce qui est un peu dommage quand on vient de loin. En revanche comme nous étions en retard cela évitait les problèmes de disponibilité.
