  Comments: Beautiful and very comfortable place. Bright at day and very quiet at night. I was happy about the elevator and not having to carry my heavy suitcase up. I loved the neighbourhood and restaurants around. I went to check out the views on the rooftop too. Only met Nora very briefly, but she seemed very sweet.

  Comments: Very cozy, very close to the subway, and near a staggering amount of tasty restaurants. I stayed here for two weeks, and I really enjoyed it. Nora's place is in a great area of the city, and definitely worth looking into if you're wanting to stay in this area.

However, the hair dryer that provided is a European plug- which we didn't have an adapter and there isn't any socket that fit, weird and inconvenient especially when girls have to dry their hair in winter.

Nous avons eu une autre chambre quelle celle en photo mais très chaleureuse aussi et nous avons pu rencontrer une super globe-trotteuse à l'occasion de notre voyage. L'appartement est très bien situé, calme et chaleureux. Le roof top est très agréable. Nous recommandons! Very cozy apartment at Nora. No regrets. There are two rooms, sometimes Nora is there, sometimes traveling. We had a different room than the one in picture but very warm too. We met a super globe-trotting on the occasion of our trip. The apartment is in a great location, quiet and cozy. The roof top is very nice. We recommend!

  Comments: It was our fist time using airbnb and hence my first comments. The location is good for exploring Manhattan and NYC, close to two different subway lines, Some restaurants, bars, shops close by as well as Chinatown and little Italy with its restaurants. The apartment is located on a small road, so no traffic noise a.s.o. We stayed abt 10 days, and we have not seen Nora at all. However communication via email etc was good and prompt. The apartment consists of two rooms and a living room, both rooms are being rented out. Fotos show the larger room, ours was about 2/3 of the size for the same price and a bit small for two adults with two suitcases. The appartment was clean, however a weekly cleaning of the bathroom would be nice, especially if the apartment is completely rented out. Some cutlery and more plates etc would be great as it is quite limited. For people staying longer, a TV migth be useful, but you may also watch tv via wlan, which is available. Overall we would come back.

  Comments: Cozy, convenient, clean, and safe location nestled in the LES. Nora was extremely communicative and helped us with any requests! The apartment was clean and neat with functional AC which helped during our stay in the summer! The location is an 8 minute walk to Grand central station, 20 mins to Brooklyn Bridge, and is in a convenient location if you want to be nestled near Little Italy, CHina Town, and all the other good eats in Eastern Manhattan. The only downside was that the elevator didn't work for 2 of the days we were there, but the flight of stairs going up to the 5th floor isn't that much so it wasn't too much of an issue.

  Comments: Emplacement parfait, Nora aide pour la découverte de la ville. J'ai eu quelques problèmes pour accéder au logement, problème réglé au bout d'une heure. Pour la sortie, j'ai eu la possibilité de laisser les bagages jusqu'à 16h. Quelques conseils s'imposent: Un léger ménage pendant le séjour de plus d'une semaine est bienvenu. Je n'ai pas réussi à trouver un aspirateur pour faire moi même. La vaisselle pour manger sur place. Manque des assiettes, couverts, verres etc... Oreillers trop petits. En conclusion , très bon emplacement, assez calme. Manque d'intimité et de propreté au niveau du logement à mon goût, la chambre sur la photo ne correspondait aux attentes. Choisir plutôt logement complet pour ceux qui souhaitent plus d'intimité.

  Comments: Centrally located in the lower east side. Within walking distance to some of our favorite coffee shops, donut shops, and delis. Easy to get to any of the bridges on the southern tip of Manhattan. Nora also had some great local suggestions like cafe grumpy and ludlow coffee supply. We absolutely love taking advance of the shared rooftop patio and even met some nice residents. Would highly recommend. We will be back.

The room seemed smaller than on the pictures shown, the roof top terrace is great and also the fact that there is a lift was a big comfort after a day in New York. Nora is a very placid and quiet host, we felt comfortable using the kitchen and the sofa also when she was in. She also gave us good tips for breakfast. Public transport is close. The cleanness of the bathroom and kitchen was ok, and one towel for one week was just about enough, we could have done with a change (then again we did not ask for it).

  Comments: Nora’s place was quiet & clean. The location was great for hitting the main tourist spots—we never traveled more than 20 minutes to get where we were going. Her apartment is near some delicious and famous eats (Katz’s, The Black Tap, The Meatball Shop, Dirty French, and Dudley’s were some personal faves). The room was big enough for two of us but a bit of a tight squeeze which we expected considering we were in New York. If we came back for a weekend we would definitely stay here again

  Comments: Just what I needed. A simple, clean and quiet place to rest. My plans changed last minute and Nora was very accommodating. I am so glad that her place was available and in the city, close to tons of great restaurants and fun bars.

  Comments: We didn’t have a great experience here. The room was small and comfortable, but the hospitality was sub-par. The host had strict check-in and out times between 4p and 11am, when the key was actually in a drop box waiting. We weren’t told where to find the key, and had to message multiple times, and then finally call to get those instructions. She said she sent me a message, but on my end I did not receive anything. When we came back after midnight from seeing a show, the host forgot we were there and locked us out with the indoor chain lock. We stood outside banging on the door and ringing the doorbell until she opened it and said she “forgot.” There wasn’t much said after that except for a goodbye in the morning. The room was fine for the cost and the bed was nice, but it wasn’t welcoming and ended up creating more headache. Would not return.

  Comments: Pretty much everything went as we expected and there were no surprises which is a good thing The house is very well renovated and decorated. AC works great. Overall the place was clean and tidy. The immediate blocks surrounding the house belong to Chinatown and lower east village which is not the nicest part of the town, but it's secure. It's also close to little Italy and SOHO which are good for shopping, eating, taking photos, etc. Thanks Nora for hosting us :)

  Comments: My stay at Nora's place, I will break it down to pros and cons. Pros: - the location is close to great restaurant, subway station, and 20 min. from the major attractions. Cons: - not all of the rooms have a queen beds, depending on the room you get (it was not communicated at the time of my booking) - private rooms don't have locks - cleanliness I would confirm all of the above mention details during you booking.

  Comments: Location of the apartment is amazing. It's next to so many cool spots and it's a walkable distance to Wall Street. Best thing is, there are so many authentic and cheap Chinese diners just around the corner. Bedroom is a little bit small for 2 persons, but since we spent most of the time in the city, so it was quite ok. I will definitely recommend this place.

  Comments: A well situated and very clean appartment in the lower east side. We enjoyed the good public transport nearby (subway F and SBS-Bus No 15), so we arrived all major sights within 20 min. Nora is a very welcoming host. Although we did not meet in person, all communication went perfect, quick and accurate via Airbnb-Mails. Very helpful was for us that Nora prepared a list with good possibilities to go out in the quarter. All in all we enjoyed completly our 11 nights stay there.

  Comments: Nora‘s apartment is located in NYC‘s South-East in Manhattan/Chinatown. There are two very close Metro stations: East Broadway and Delancey Station/Essex Street. Both stations offer a great connection to every desired destination. It also only takes 5 to 10 minutes by foot to get a great view of the Manhattan Bridge, East River and Brooklyn’s coast. We arrived on JFK airport which is approximately 90 minutes away. Nora provided us prior to our arrival with a helpful description of how we could get to her apartment. The first nights, we shared the apartment with another guest who we only met at one short time. There is a separate bath room which can only be entered from the rented room and therefore is used privately. The living room and kitchen can be shared by all guests. We were very happy to have found such a lovely apartment where we could stay during our time in New York.

  Comments: Beautiful apartment in a hoppin place. Easy access to metro and dozens of local food places. Felt like a foodie area and also wasn’t super expensive compared to other areas. Bed was comfy, air conditioner functioned great as a heater and cooler for the room. Great local pro tips and very responsive host. She gave a lot of space so you almost felt like you loved there on your own. We would love to stay here again in the future.

  Comments: 10일 정도 여자 혼자 여행을 하면서 그닥 숙소 주변에서 위험을 느끼지 않았습니다. 지하철도 도보 5분 거리에 2노선이 있어 편리했어요! 세탁실은 지하에 마련되어 있었고 냄비,후라이팬을 사용해서 밥을 해먹기 좋았습니다 ㅎㅎ 욕실의 물은 조금 기다려야 떠듯한 물이 나오구요 수압은 약한 편이에요. 저는 Nora와 함께 숙소를 쉐어하는 줄 알았지만, 다른 게스트와 숙소를 쉐어했어요! 서로 배려를 해주는 게스트를 만나서 불편함이 전혀 없었습니다 ㅎㅎ (만약 그게 아니라면 실례되는 일이 있을수도 있겠지요) 아무쪼록 만족스러웠어요!

  Comments: Let me start by saying we stayed here for one night after our one month trip to the US therefore had limited time to communicate with Nora and time to explore the rest of the area. Nora was very nice in our communication and gave us her contact details to contact her at any time. When I look at booking airbnb or any kind of place to stay, I would like to read reviews that are honest and useful and therefore intend to do the same for others. The location of the apartment is good, close to a subway and surrounded by nice places to eat, conveince stores and feels like a safe neigbourhood. Wifi works fine. The bathroom has a shower and is not the one shown, at the current time, on the photos. The shower and bathroom floor was very dirty in my opinion (e.g. greasy, mouldy) and compared to any other any air bnb we have stayed at. Especially when you look at paying a cleaning fee. The bed is not very comfortable, and I dont think I would be able to stay there for more than one night. The door handles' latch does not work and for that reason also not the door lock. In my opinion, this was fine for one night however taking into consideration that you have to pay for a service and cleaning fee, its cheaper to stay for more than one night. If the cleanliness and door handle is fixed, I would say that its fine to stay here.
