  Comments: This was such an amazing place. It's open and very cozy. The two bathrooms make it amazing to where you don't have to wait. The backyard is super cool, large with some patio furniture, grate sun for the summer, I with it was warmer so I could have chilled out there more often. Jed is amazing. He's super chill and kind, great for asking any questions about the area. The train is like 2 blocks away at the most. Theres so many cute bars and coffee shops and even grocery stores if your staying for a while. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to come experience the cute area of Bushwick. I had a blast! I know you will to!

  Comments: We stayed with Jed for 10 nights, it was absolutely perfect. He was friendly and welcoming from before we even arrived, and his apartment is immaculate. I felt like I was in a hotel! The bed is big and comfy and Jed provided us with towels and wardrobe space and access to all the amenities, which are all brand new. Jed even invited us to a BBQ in his big garden and we met some of his friends which was really fun! We were right next to the metro stop so it was really easy to get around, and the neighbourhood of Bushwick is really cool. We had a great time exploring the street art, cafes and vintage boutiques. There are a couple of supermarkets and different food places really close to Jed's place, so it was easy to get some food to fuel up for the day. It's only 4 stops to get to downtown Manhattan and we took an unlimited rail pass so it was pretty cheap and easy to get to the centre of the city. We had a great time staying with Jed, we felt totally at home and it was a great base for our trip. 100% recommended! Thanks a lot Jed! :)

  Comments: Jed has an amazing space and he is a really nice guy, too. The apartment is very airy for New York (high ceilings and good room sizes) and there is even a small back yard. Bedroom, bathroom(s), the floors, everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The art made me feel good too. The location is good. It is less than a block from the J/M trains and the B54 bus which we took for a short ride to Dough Brooklyn (look it up!). A few really good bar/restaurants in the area. The corner bodega has a good selection. We have been to New York a dozen times with AirBnb and we highly recommend Jed.

  Comments: Jed's place is awesome and so is he as a roommate I had total privacy but when I needed something Jed was there before I could even ask. Excellent host. House has everything you need and steps away from anything you'd need at the stores. Jed knows the definition of hospitality and excels at it. never really saw him that much but he responded to my texts instantly. When I did see him it was a pleasure to chat. Yes I would stay at Jed's again clean, modern appliances (w/d, nice kitchen, great wifi). I think I read a review about Jed having strict rules? Haha I don't think you can say having to lock the door when you leave is being strict. More like have the run of the house but be respectful for the safety of the house. Isn't that the way it should be? Ok so the bad... the tacos he made for me could of had more spice..haha thanks Jed sorry I love the heat

  Comments: My stay at Jed's for a few weeks went very well. The place was clean, quiet and had everything that I needed. The neighborhood is safe though not exactly the fanciest area of Brooklyn. The main street is less than a block away with an overhead subway gives you an older NY gritty feel, but it's very convenient for shopping and quick subways into Manhattan. The apartment was comfortable and had a door to a back area where you could sit outside. I made myself at home, and Jed was a pleasure.

Clean, spacious, quiet (rare in NYC) and on top of that with a cool backyard in which to chill. Best of all Jed was extremely helpful and accommodating when it came to checking in and out.   Comments: Jed is a gracious host and the apartment is as it appears in the photos. Clean, with comfy bed, and nice kitchen. The neighborhood is not gentrified so you have an inner city, somewhat rough commercial strip near the subway. It felt unsafe at first (quite a few people suffering from addictions) but we had no problems at all. Fairly quick subway ride into lower Manhattan. Some loud banging, clanging neighborhood noises in the morning on two occasions. Jed was very hospitable and kind enough to stay up late for us as our flight into NYC was delayed. Super-nice chap!

And communication with Jed was awesome. We already knew the area and stayed with him for a month while apartment-hunting. We ended up signing a lease right in the neighborhood. There's a garden out back for warmer months too.

The apartment is about 35 minutes from midtown, for those looking to travel to that area of town. The subway is easy to navigate - so no worries there. The bed is extremely comfortable and the closet in the designated bedroom is spacious. I would recommend Jed’s place to anyone who is looking for a nice, spacious place outside the city.

  Comments: I definitely recommend Jed's home if you're looking for a great location and super welcoming host in NYC. The area is so convenient and you are half a block away from the metro. A good amount of grocery stores and bars/restaurants for you to check out too. As they say, NYC is a city that doesn't sleep. Jed let me know he has friends over on weekends so be prepared as Jed will show you all the great local spots and you'll be able to also meet his friends! A true Brooklyn home :)

  Comments: Jed is killing it over here with this Air B n B. He rescued my partner and I from a Air B n B nightmare at the last minute and was so accommodating. The place is gorgeous, sparkling clean, and well-decorated with thoughtful touches (the towels are huge and fluffy). He definitely isn't kidding when he forewarns his guests that on Friday and Saturday nights the party is popping off in the living room. We didn't mind at all and either slept right through it or joined in on the fun! Jed is a superhost for sure: fast response times, super friendly but gives privacy, and is happy to give you hot neighborhood tips. The location is spectacular, you could throw a rock and hit the JMZ. Perfect for tourists who want a taste of Brooklyn, but do want to go to Manhattan a lot to do touristy things. I would highly recommend staying at Jed's to any young person looking to have a good time and meet some cool people.

  Comments: The stay in the house of Jed was disappointing, although the house is beautiful and is located a step away from the metro Myrtle Av and has all the amenities, the house only has a bathroom with shower, which contradicts the notice that shows a private bathroom . Additionally the last three nights were completely disastrous, the host arrived two days in a row at 4 am with a lot of people to continue the party until dawn, obviously the noise of the people talking and the music did not let us sleep, the last night It was not better either because he stayed until 2 in the morning walking, cooking and slaming doors, which also did not let us sleep. Even though he knew that we should wake up very early to take our flight back. Probably Jed is a nice guy as the other qualifications say, but he lacks consideration for the rest and comfort of his guests. I do not recommend it

  Comments: After trying a few places around Manhattan and Brooklyn, we decided to come back to Jed's place and to stay there for the last 2 months of our trip. Jed is one of the best hosts I met on Airbnb. If you plan to visit NYC or to stay there for a much longer time, I really recommend you his place. The apartment is great, the neighborhood is great and the subway is at 3 minutes walk (then 10/15 minutes to Manhattan).
