  Comments: Macit is a PERFECT host :) - he was very caring, communicative, nice and friendly. He was waiting for us in front of the house, helped with our luggage, and he explained us the fastest way how to get to Manhattan (it´s about 15mins to Penn Station - really great allocation of the flat). The room is nice and cozy, looks exactly like on the photo. The flat in general was spacious and clean with big kitchen and friendly (Hidden by Airbnb) . Bus stop is right in front of the house, 7/11 about 5mins walking. Highly reccomend !!! :)))

  Comments: The apartment unit is cozy, the location is pretty convenient. I like the neighborhood. The bedroom is clean with closet, small table, and mirror. We had full access to the kitchen and can store our food in the fridge as well. The patio and backyard is pretty awesome, me and my boyfriend LOVE it! I recommend this place for other traveler.

  Comments: Macit was a friendly and responsible host. He responded quickly and was there to greet us on time. He even went out of he way to lend us an iron and drive us to the train station! We had a wedding in Manhattan and were looking for reasonable accommodations nearby. Macit's place worked out perfectly. It was clean, comfortable and about 30 minutes by train into midtown for the wedding. If you are looking for a base camp to explore the city, consider staying with Macit.

  Comments: The house and room were great. Everything was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We did not have a lot of contact with Ramza & Macit, but they made sure we had access to whatever we needed. Location is good if you are looking for something that takes you away from the crowded and hectic areas of NY.

  Comments: Thank you very much Ramza & Macit Okumus. The room was very pure, the bathtub also was pure, kitchen at your order. To the subway by bus of 3 minutes, to Manhattan 30 minutes. The only thing - you don't bring home pork. Owners Muslims, we didn't know about it, us didn't warn. Generally very much I recommend.

  Comments: Really good host for reasonable price! Subway - about 15 min walk, so about 45 min from Manhattan. Generally place is quite and green, there is a big supermarket near. Ramza & Macit are very friendly and helpful guys. Strongly recommend this place!

  Comments: It was a great place to stay. My sister and I were very busy most of the time so we were only there to sleep but it was a great place for that, I would recommend bringing a fan it really helped in the room. They checked in mid stay to see if there was anything they could do to help or if we needed anything. They are very nice people.

  Comments: We didn't see the hosts often but when we asked them a question we received an answer promptly. The area felt very safe and the bus across the street was very useful to getting to the subway station.

  Comments: It was a really nice stay. The room is big enough and we enjoyed the terrasse and the back yard. The neighboorhood is super nice, cute and peacefull, the line 7 is convenient and we were in Manhattan in less than 20 minutes. Also, Ramza and Macit are good hosts, they welcomed us, allowed us to leave our suitcase after we checked out, until we got to the airport and they called a cab for us to get there. We recommend Ramza and Macit for your future nights in Queens!

  Comments: They didn't reply to my emails on the week running up to our stay and I had to contact Airbnb to prompt them to respond. To be honest I did not feel welcome on the first night as I rang to prior to arrving and he was mumbling on the phone, then when we arrived just showed us the room and we hardly saw them again. The bathroom tap leaked, the room was so hot- no fan was supplied, room had not been cleaned and I was woken on morning by one of them asking to let the new arriving guest in and wake up his Girlfriend. We left more like a burden than welcomed guested (this is going compared to our other experience with Airbnb.) If your are looking for somewhere to just sleep I don't see a problem with staying with these guys but we thought it was over priced for the service we received.

  Comments: We really enjoyed the neighborhood around Woodside metro station and all, and the house was located in a quiet area. As for the apartment, people should know that there's no doorbell for it. In our case, even though we had arranged with them to arrive in the morning at a set hour, we had to wait a long time (1hr) for them to wake up (and answer the phone, txt). They didn't seem prepared for us. Ramza seemed like a nice person, but apparently she didn't have time to clean up after the previous guests prior to our arrival: the bathroom (+leaking hot water) and our bedroom were dirty, and there was even broken glass on the living room's floor all week long. Still, we enjoyed relaxing in the backyard late in the evening. We would recommend this place if you're looking mainly for a modest place to sleep, but a better deal should be available for a comparable price.

  Comments: We stayed like 8days at their place, it looked better on the pictures, the kitchen is old and dirty, the microwave was very dirty inside, the floor was dirty in ou room, the water was dropping from the shower's tap but hardly, there was no soap in the bathroom they put dish washer soap in the holder. We had to put the toilet paper out from the drawer nobody changed the trash can in the bath room during the 8 days, our room was next to the owners room and many times they arrived home late and they were loud. Beside these thing we did not talk to much but they were nice and if we ask something they were helpful, the took us to the subway station because we had too mich luggages, we did not get that room what we paid for, i do not recommend this place

  Comments: Ramza and Macit where the perfect hosts! Very friendly and helpful! They picked my girlfriend and I up from the station and also took us back there when our stayed ended. Was perfect because we had a lot of stuff and was raining. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in Queens. Its a short walk (5-10minutes) from the 7 train which goes directly to Manhattan in a nice neighbourhood close to some small shops and takeout places. The room and house were clean and everything was as described in their description.

  Comments: Nous sommes arrivés en retard dans la soirée à New-York. Macit et Ramza très gentillement, sont venus nous chercher à la station de métro de Woodside. Bonne localisation et rapport qualité prix intéressant même si propreté parfois un peu négligée.

  Comments: Our plane had a huge delay, which caused in some troubles when arriving. The airbnb map showed another location than Macit was really located, the given address is correct. We saw Macit only for a few minutes to talk about the relevant things. The room was as expected, but the window and the shower was leaking which has been little uncomfortable. It takes half an hour to get downtown by metro. The location is perfect for LaGuardia Airport.

  Comments: Neighborhood was quite and there was good connection to bus which led you to train station and from there you could go anywhere you´d like. Macit was waiting for us when we came to apartment and showed us everything we needed. Household isnt very good equipped but for shorter time it is enough. Anyway Macit thank you for accommodating us!!

  Comments: Macit was nice, helpful, and welcoming. The bed though was very soft and uncomfortable. The sheets and pillow cases were of that cheap, unbreathable polyster, so they felt kind of gross/uncomfortable to sleep in. The pillows were also super soft - woke up with a stiff neck every morning. The apartment is nice and clean. There are ants but not too crazy though. No hand soap in the bathroom. Subway is about a 10-15 minute walk, really not bad at all. Neighbourhood is very residential. Parking was easy to find on the same street.

  Comments: En vacance à New-York en mai. le logement etait bien equipé. il est à 15 min de la station de metro qui mène directement à Times square. Le logement est proche des commerces tout en étant au calme. Le reveil avec les oiseaux est agreable. Nous avons rencontré des gens qui sont très sympa et accueillant. Un agréable séjour et de très bonne rencontre.

Vimos al anfitrion solo el primer dia y el último, pienso que es muy bueno, porque te da sensacion d libertad y confianza El barrio es muy tranquilo y del apartamento a la parada de metro hay 15-20 min andando y luego unos 25 min en metro hasta Times Square Es una buena opcion si quieres estar muchos días en NYC, o si quieres ahorrar mucho dinero en estancia Pero debe mejorar la limpieza del cuarto de baño

  Comments: Die Unterkunft war für einen Urlaub in New York okay, alles schnell erreichbar mit Bus und Bahn. Allerdings waren Bad und Küche nicht besonders sauber. Die Zimmergrösse war soweit für zwei Personen in Ordnung. Leider ging unsere Klimaanlage nicht, was im Hochsommer sehr unangenehm ist. Auch war es durch die Flugzeuge sehr laut. Haben unsere Gastgeber nie gesehen, weshalb wir uns bei Fragen an andere Airbnb Gäste wenden mussten. Im Großen und ganzen - eine gute Wohnung wenn man keine hohen Ansprüche hat.

  Comments: Ótimo custo x Benefício, local muito seguro e próximo de bares e restaurantes. Eu gastava cerca de 15 minutos andando até a linha 7 do metrô e mais 20 minutos de metro eu já estava no centro de Manhattan. O único inconveniente da estadia era o vizinho do andar de cima, como a casa tem muita madeira, eu ouvia ele andando no andar de cima a madrugada inteira, mas nada que um protetor de ouvido não resolva. Voltarei com certeza!
