  Comments: The host is very kind, nice and friendly. She help us a lot in the recomendations of places to visit. And let us feel like home! There is no wifi but she lend us a phone card to use (is better caiae you can use it outside). The place is convenienced, is between two MTR just 5 to 10 min walk. And close to the 添好運點心 (it was so good) The room is good, and bed confortable. The day we were staying was leaking water on the wall. The bethroom is small but it's okay. Thank you for the great hoapitality!

  Comments: I stayed four nights in Yi's apartment. The room and apartment are rather small but you get to stay in a regular HK apartment. The apartment could've been a bit cleaner but I enjoyed staying there. Yi gave me a sim card with unlimited data which was very practical. She also recommended me nice places to go to and was always helpful. The area is not touristy at all, it is a down to earth area with restaurants and markets where mainly locals go to.

  Comments: 第一次在香港住民宿,挺有趣的,有助于对香港生活更真实的体验｡ 房子的住置好,去哪里都方便,周围各种服务又一应俱全,而且价格不贵｡ 住宿的性价比高,在香港寸土寸金的情况下,这个价位已经算是很公道了,当然不要期望房间很大,事实上这是我住过的民宿中房间最小的一次了,但是香港就是如此｡ 因为房主是女生,女性顾客更受欢迎｡所以,对于房主能接受男性顾客的我,还是要表示感谢｡

  Comments: I stayed at Vicky's place for a week, and her hospitality as a host was amazing, and she is very personable overall. From the very beginning, communication was always very quick and she gave clear instructions for check in – it is only a single bus ride and then a short walk to arrive from the airport. Before I arrived, I asked her about a sim card and she helped me buy one locally for much cheaper than the data cards you find at the airport for travellers. She showed me how to use the stuff around the house and also provided me with a bottle of water when I arrived. We had great conversations when we were around at the same time, she invited me to join her in some excursions since I said I didn't really have an itinerary in mind, and lent me an old phone to use for two days when mine unfortunately needed a repair. The location of the place is very convenient; it is within walking distance of the MTRs and lots of good food just out the door, and there are also very nice security guards in the lobby who helped me with my luggage and greeted me every time I came in and out. The apartment is a bit small, as is the norm for apartments in HK, but the room has more than sufficient space for 1-2 people, depending on how much luggage you have. My only note is that the place could have been cleaner overall, but I personally was not bothered during my stay.

  Comments: Yi's apartment is situated close to mtr Sham Shui Po and Shek Kip Mei in a more residential area of HK than where I stayed before (around Hung Hom station). I liked the neighbourhood with fruit and vegetables markets nearby, the technical hardware market and a street full of clothes shops. It feels more authentic than the glamour and glitz of southern Kowloon. The apartment is as described by others and good value for money. Info on how to get there might have been a bit more detailed (e.g. exactly which metro exit - b1 or b2 - to take and how to find the entrance to the apartment complex (there are 2 entrances) and the keys), but overall I enjoyed my stay for 2 nights.

  Comments: Yi is a great host, she's very friendly and is always available to give advice (when she's not flying) on places to go and visit. I stayed for more than a month and had no issues with other guests, in fact I made friends with a few of them. My advice is, be very careful with locking doors. The bedroom doors only lock from the inside (using a button lock) and only unlock from the outside using a key. If you leave the key inside, you're buggered. Luckily, Yi has an extra key to help out in case that ever happens.

  Comments: The room is large considering it is located in HK. The place is cost effective and convenient for me. The host is very very busy at work but tried the best to respond to my requests. The building is old but in good operation and maintenance. It was convenient to find some places to eat around, and the metro station and bus stops are not far away. One disadvantage is that there is no washing machine (or I did not find it).

  Comments: The place was in an old building nearby SSP metro station and surrounded by many bus stations so it's very convenient for Exploring the city. Also many local restaurants and some convenience stores literally just down stairs of the building so it's Really good for late night eating. Apart from that I had nice chatting with Yi and she was very friendly and willing to share her knowledge about how to get to the places and introduced me some nice spots nearby. I Would recommend this place for solo travellers and appreciated for the hospitality.

Loads of shops around Sham Shui Po, and a Tim Ho Wan super near, which does probably the best dim sum in Hong Kong. Easy access to airport, and public transport in general. The mattress was very comfortable and the air con worked well. Hope to stay here again in future, for a longer period of time!

You can really manage to experience a proper Hong Kong life together with an authentic and perfectly located district. The restaurants and markets in this area are extremely good. The flat is well protected by 24/7 security service with very friendly security guards. The host offers you a lot of private space by simultaneously providing you all information and great tips when needed. Thank you again for such an outstanding time! Highly recommended!

  Comments: You have to know that this is a low budget place. You will have the minimum needed. Sleep/shower/toilet. The bathroom, especially the shower was not pratical at all, extremely small. Don’t expect cooking (anyway it’ better to enjoy street food). Overall it was acceptable for me. The location is good, close to the metro, in a popular district. Bakery right below. The place is safe.
