  Comments: This place was super convenient for exploring the Waikiki area and for heading to the beach (5-10 min walk). There was an on-site building manager who we could contact for any questions. Trans Pacific provided great pre-trip communication as well which made our arrival run smoothly. All amenities listed were provided.

  Comments: Location was great. Parking was great. Very clean and safe. You will need to bring earplugs in order to get a good night sleep. It is on the third floor but the street traffic noise is very loud. My favorite was the delivery truck backing down the entire street at 3 am followed by a Harley group at four. The location and the price far out weigh this issue so it still gets a five star from me. Also John, the onsite guy was very helpful and quick to reply to text and calls. I would stay here again if I was traveling solo.

  Comments: Beauty is definitely on the inside. It's centrally located in Waikiki, a couple of blocks off the main road. The exterior does look a little rough (almost feels like a motel). However, once you open the door, the inside has been fully upgraded. The bathroom is a little small, but otherwise it's well-equipped. I'd recommend this place if you are looking to be centrally located and save a few $. Owner is very responsive and super friendly.

  Comments: This little studio apt. has a great Waikiki location, at a very good rate. Well suited for 1 or 2 people, and perhaps one child. It was very clean and has been remodeled I'm sure. The building is very close to the action in Waikiki.... lots of shopping & restaurants within a few blocks, just a short walk to the ocean (2-3 blocks). It's very busy in the Waikiki area, therefore lots of traffic, busses, scooters... can be loud... recommend sleeping with earplugs if you have trouble sleeping. It has a nice big TV with cable, wifi, full size refrigerator, small 4 burner stove and small oven, micorwave, very nice dining table with 3 chairs. One bed sleeps 2 people and the other is for 1 person. The linens were very nice and clean, good pillows. The view is of the neighboring apt. buildings. It has 1 off-street covered parking place, which is an excellent asset. If you want to be in the Waikiki area and don't want to spend a fortune at the hotels, I recommend this studio apt.

  Comments: This is a great place to stay for a great price. The only downfall was that the bathroom was to small to move around in and it was somewhat a noisy neighborhood. I would say this unit is more for maximum 2 adults or 2 adults and one child.

Die Kommunikation vor der Reise hat super geklappt und durch einen hinterlegten Schlüssel konnten wir ganz flexibel anreisen und es war kein Problem, dass wir erst um 23 Uhr ankamen. Für einen Start einer Hawaii Reise kann ich die Wohnung für ein paar Tage gut empfehlen. Sie liegt zentral in Honolulu, nur wenige Straßen vom Waikiki Beach entfernt. Da das Bett allerdings direkt am Fenster zur Straße steht, ist die Nacht etwas unruhig und das Bad ist sehr klein. Ein guter Start in den Urlaub

  Comments: The hosts were very quick with their communication with us when we arrived and any time we had a question. They live close to the room and are willing to come by and help with anything. The apartment was as advertised; it had everything we needed. The bathroom was a little small but, other than that, no complaints! The place is nice and close to the Waikiki action. It is loud if a few drunk tourists walk by or if a truck rumbles down the street, but it is removed from nightlife noise. Great value! Highly recommended!!

  Comments: The apartment is really central, 2 blocks from the beach and the "Duke". For a short stay at waikiki beach it is the best choice, if you want to spare your money bag. You get some towels, a lot of beach gear and have a big fridge, cooker and coffeemachine for using. A lot of Restaurants a few steps away. We really liked it and would come back! Thanks so much!!!

  Comments: This place is about proximity, affordability and ohana: It's one of the old quirky budget apartment units that are constantly being encroached upon and subsumed by designer malls and name-brand hotels. Parking spot is invaluable. Unit is accessible by three short flights of stairs. Air conditioning unit is controlled by "light" switch next to the bathroom.

  Comments: This place was exactly as described. We had three adults with us and we had plenty of room. The bathroom as a bit on the small side. The best part about this apartment is the location. It's right in the heart of Waikiki and walking distance to literally everything. The hosts were great to communicate with and quick to respond to any of our questions. We will definitely be back!

  Comments: The hosts are very considerate and communicate well. I would say that they had the best price for all the amenities that are not available in most airbnbs in Waikiki like air conditioning, stove/oven and a TV. The pictures and description are exactly how it is. Although there are some drawbacks like tiny ants at the kitchen counter and sinks. As well as extremely loud engines around 3 am every night (even though the windows are fully shut it is still very loud, and I am a heavy sleeper). These are things that can be ignored. The hosts would respond within minutes of an inquiry. Overall I was very satisfied with my stay and what really made this place great was the communication with the amazing hosts. Would I stay with them again? Yes. Would I recommend them? Yes, if they want a great deal and cheap prices.

  Comments: This place worked out great for me and my 2 boys. Originally from Oahu and just needed something simple with a descent price. John is awesome! He was already outside doing some work and greeted us. Helped with our luggage to our studio. When we checked in we looked around to see what we needed to buy because there are thing's already there that you might not have to spend on. There's bath towels, beach towels, some toiletries. Check behind the medicine cabinet, there's some sunblock and stuff. There's a first aid kit in the closet by the front door. There's beach mats, floaties, hair dryer, and more. The kitchen has dishes, cups, silverware, pots, and even a crockpot. Parking is right under the building. We felt safe and didn't have to worry about anything. You will see people walking up and down this street and it is a one way street that drives towards the Ala Wai canal. Waikiki beach is a few blocks away. Food pantry (grocery store) and a coffee shop inside Food pantry is a block away. The bathroom is small but suffice. For the price it was great and with a friendly guy like John and his lady friend, I'm glad I got the chance to meet them. They are both amazing!!! Thanks again for welcoming us and all the help when we needed you!! Mahalo nui loa a hui hou kakou!

  Comments: The apartment is exactly what we were expecting. Just a small studio with a couple beds, bathroom, and sufficient kitchen. We knew all we needed was a place to sleep and this certainly was just fine for 2. Would I put more than 2 people in here? Probably not. You'd be pretty crowded if trying to "hang out" in the room at all. Just a couple blocks from the main happenings and beaches of Waikiki but tucked back enough that it wasn't loud. Hosts were very responsive and nearby. Overall I'd definitely stay here again.

He answered all my questions in a timely fashion and was able to accommodate my concerns, especially for checking in very late (key lockbox) and also supplying a parking spot. Parking in Waikiki is a premium and that definitely took alot of stress out of my vacation. The location of the AirBnB can't be beat. It's walking distance to everything in Waikiki, really in the middle of it all so you can easily turn left to the Zoo end or right to the Hilton end. John was able to provide extra perks like snorkel sets and beach gear free of charge. You really can't get that at hotels. Yes, the bathroom is tiny and the place isn't the most lux, but it's clean, convenient, and has everything you need, great for budget travellers. When returning to Hawaii, I will definitely remember my stay at John's.

We really appreciated the care he took to ensure our stay at his apartment was problem free. The apartment is comfortably furnished with two separate beds which was well suited for us traveling with our 3 year old toddler. Has all the convenience of a well located stay, John even provides some snorkel and beach accessories you can borrow in the home. If you don't rent a car, there is a bus stop nearby with multiple bus lines going through, so you won't have any trouble getting around. The apartment is pristinely clean and large in size. It's not huge, but had everything (and I mean *everything*) you could possibly need. Check in was super easy and John was very responsive. It's a perfect location, very close to everything around Waikiki. When we come back to Honolulu we hope we can stay in one of their apartments again.

Even though it is on a side street, it still was pretty noisy even with the louvers shut. If you are a light sleeper, be sure to bring ear plugs. The bathroom is pretty tiny too. Other than that, it really is a great deal for the price.

  Comments: Great location for the value , the place is a bit small but it is Waikiki and for the price it is definitely worth it. It will be pretty comfortable size for two adults and a small child . Any more people it would be too small. Bathroom is also the very small side, but it is clean. Behind the mirror there is some sun screen, and there is also a boogie board and a life jacket and a chair and an umbrella and a noodle. The condo has parking if you request the owner for a parking for a fee, it is more convenient than finding parking else where. It is a very small space so don’t get a huge car.. It does get noisy at night , I brought some ear plugs as suggested on the reviews. John and Stacey are both real quick at responding to messages , made it easy to get things taking care of

  Comments: This is a fantastic location and very affordable based on the location that you'll be staying in. For those of you who have heard of Marukame Udon, this is just a 5 minute walk from the restaurant, so this is a very strategic location if you plan to visit. If you like to cook your own meals from time to time to save money, their kitchen is fully functional and great for a small family. John was very quick to respond to questions and help out whenever we needed it - would definitely stay here again!

  Comments: This place is exactly as advertised. It's very small but the price is worth the location. John was extremely helpful and greeted me on my arrival. The only downside is the noise from outside which can be disturbing if you're planning to stay in the room during daytime but it becomes calm during the night and I was able to get a good sleep. There is also a small kitchen which essential utensils if you're planning to make some quick meal. I would recommend this place to tourists (party of 2 or 3 at max) visiting Waikiki.

  Comments: This is the best location at the best price and I cannot stress that more. You are literally down the street from an ABC store (convenience store) and just blocks away from the beach, International Market, local restaurants, shops, zoo and Alamo car rental. I do want to warn anyone that has issues with stairs though, this place has no elevators. I stayed on the third floor and had to lug everything up those stairs and lug everything down. I don’t have an issue with stairs nor the girls I traveled with since it’s just extra cardio I’m happy to add into my day, so that wasn’t an issue, but I do see it as a potential problem for old folks and people with babies with lots and lots of luggage and stuff. I mean you might as well climb those stairs because you’re saving money, just saying. Keep in mind that you’re not paying for a 5 star Ritz-Carlton so don’t be a brat. The place is older, therefore some of the things are older and the owners are trying their best to keep it in its best shape as much as possible. Such as the AC. It works just fine and we were always so happy to come back to a cool room but it does leak (our unit’s AC leaked outside anyway so it never bothered us) and the owners are aware of it, did warn us about it before hand and have plans to fix it for future guests. The honesty was appreciated. If you use a crap ton of towels like I do, then bring your own few extras because they only supply enough for the amount of guests staying. You can use the laundry downstairs for $1.50-1.75 to rewash the towels or anything else you want to wash. Which is nice because I would hate to lug everything to a local laundromat on vacation! The microwave works just fine and I’m glad they have it along with the full fridge too. We didn’t cook so didn’t use the stove and cannot comment on that but it looked really clean. They also supply dish soap, a broom and a vacuum we didn’t use. My favorite would probably be the beach toys they supplied!! OMG it was our favorite!!! There’s a cute beach umbrella, beach bags and towels, a noodle, donut, and mini surf floaty-thing and even a large Asian mat to use at the beach that’s big enough for a whole family to use as a picnic. I was so happy to see all of it because it meant we didn’t have to buy anything. Talk about being grateful for those and SAVIN. THEM. DOLLAS for other shenanigans. They have a really nice flat screen TV but we were never in the room long enough to use it. We’re in Hawaii! Why would we stay inside to watch a movie?! There’s also fast, dependable and free WiFi. Great for students that need to do some...

  Comments: The place was quite convenient. It is only a few min away from Waikiki beach and the main streets. They have various water equipment for us to use (e.g. life jacket, boogie board, folding, etc.). There is A/C so that was nice to cool off when we got back after a long day out in the sun. Only a few of cons: - The washroom is a bit smaller than we expected. - We did see a few small roaches in the unit. Not sure if this is a common issue for these types of apartments in Hawaii. - It is a bit noisy. We can heard the people on the street and neighbors.

  Comments: This unit is always the absolute best value for the price in Waikiki. If you're traveling alone or need few frills, you're foolish to not consider this location. I've stayed here several times and have always enjoyed everything about it. The unit managers are very friendly and eager to make your stay memorable.   Comments: This place is great for the location and value. The only negative thing I have to say is the bathroom is a bit smaller than expected but still manageable, and if you rent a car, there is no parking for you on the premise.

  Comments: It was a great stay! It is very convenient location and very good value accommodation. John responded my message quickly. Neighbors are nice. Just one heads up, the street is sometimes very noisy and I could hear it in the room.

  Comments: It’s a very small studio, the bathroom is very tiny. The location is great! A few minutes walk to the beach and a grocery store. The host was very nice! The building is quite dated, towels and bedsheets were a bit old and kind of dingy. The room was clean. There’s no elevators, so it might have been a problem carrying a lot of luggage up 3 flights of stairs. There was a hole at the base of the door. Would have appreciated a full length mirror. Didn’t use the stove, so can’t comment on that. Couldn’t regulate the temperature in the room, it was either too cold or too hot. These were all minor issues, the major problem was with the windows. The noise from outside was unbearable, even with the windows closed. I barely got any sleep due to a lot of noise from passing vehicles and people walking on the street , AND I had ear plugs in my ears! I would not recommend this place to a light sleeper but if you can sleep through anything and you’re looking for a very budget accomodation , go for it.

  Comments: Certainly not without charm, beautiful new fridge, lots of hot water, close to bus stop. John, my host was friendly and helpful. Bring good earplugs, as it's noisy.
