    Comments: The place is nice.

Comments: Everything was perfect. Our group of 6 stayed comfortably. What you see on the pictures is exactly what you will see in person. Quiet neighborhood. Approximately 6-10 minute walking distance to Times Square. Loved having a washer and dryer. Will definitely recommend this host!

Comments: This was a great apartment, well located in central Manhattan and easily walkable to Times Square and Central Park. The neighborhood is relatively peaceful (for NY) which provides a welcome break from the mania. The apartment is immaculate, stylish and comfortable - the space/layout is well thought through and a good size for a short stay.

Comments: We had a wonderful time in the apartment and Allan made every effort to accommodate our late arrival and special sleeping wishes. Everything was in very good condition and clean. The space was roomy enough for three people with two separate bedrooms and a comfortable sleeper sofa and we all had our own space. Also starting our daily sightseeing tours from this part of town, which BTW seemed safe - added another flavor to what we had experienced up to then. It is a stone through away from the Hudson promenade for running and long walks and not too far to the West Side subway trains. We used to spend a lot of time in NY and this definitely was something new. Bottomline, we would seriously consider staying here again.

Comments: Le logement est fidèle aux photos et à la description. Très bien placé, l'idéal pour un séjour à NYC. Seul petit bémol, un frigo en panne 2 jours et il faisait froid dans l'appartement.Sinon, tout était parfait.

Comments: It was overall a great experience. Our flight was delayed and the host didn't have any problem waiting for us. The place it's exactly like the pictures and the neighborhood was great, walking distance to Whole Foods, train station and the best Mexican restaurant in the area Toloache serving the best Hibiscus Margaritas.

Comments: Very accommodating to our group of 6! We had a wonky arrival / departure schedule that would have been tricky to bring our bags with us so it's very appreciated. Super clean apartment in an easy to find safe area. Thanks for a great stay!

Comments: I have no complaints at all for my stay at Angela's apartment. Angela was polite and helpful whenever we communicated. Her assistant, Allan showed us the apartment and helped us whenever necessary. Also, the apartment looks exactly like the photos on airbnb website. I will definietly be back.

Comments: A few long blocks from Central park and Times Square. Many great restaurants close by. Master bedroom did not border the street which made it quiet for sleeping. Great location if you can walk a little way to subway and main attractions.

Comments: This lovely apartment is as pictured in the listing photographs. There is ample sleeping space as the living room couch opens to a sleeper, and the futon in the front bedroom also opens up. We did not use the air mattress but one was available. This is in addition to the two beds. The building security is nice as residents have to come through two locked doors to enter. Then there is the apartment door as well. The location is wonderful. Basically a mile to Times Square, and a half mile to a mile to Broadway theaters. We saw three shows while we were there and walked to them all. There is every kind of restaurant you can think of in this area. We had great pizza and pasta at Uncle Mario's around the corner. We had great Tex Mex at El Azteca. We had great breakfast at Galaxy Diner. I was with 3 kids so we didn't try anything too fancy. Check in with Angela's assistant Allen was easy and he showed us around the apartment. He's very friendly and available to handle any issues. This apartment felt very safe. The front bedroom is bit noisy as it faces the street and is also near the front door of the building so you can hear everyone coming and going plus street traffic noise. It was quiet though between midnight and 6 am. The back bedroom is very quiet as is the living room. Overall this is a great place to stay. I did have some trouble reaching Angela for check in instructions in the 24 hours before my trip which made me nervous, but it all ended up working out.

Comments: Great location in Hells Kitchen, inexpensive to get anywhere with Uber or Lyft. Loved the place BUT no central heat... wall heaters not warm enough, and only 2 portable heaters - really needed 1 for freezing cold bathroom, and should have had 2 others for bedrooms. Noisy from people walking by window at night, and upstairs neighbours very noisy. I would stay again however if they resolved heat issue on cold winter days.

Comments: Location is good bc it's a several block walk (easy enough) to Times Square, etc, but quiet for sleeping. A grocery right on corner, Starbucks close, etc. However, we did not have enough hot water for quick showers. It didn't feel as clean as it could've been. Having washer dryer was. Ice, but the dryer was very weak- so each load has to be dried over and over again. The person who checks you in was easy to communicate with and did exactly as he said he would making check in and out easy!

Comments: Angela's apartment is very well located, close to Times Square and the subway. It is an area of bars and restaurants, although the apartment block is very quiet. There are supermarkets and delis nearby. Regarding the amenities the apartment is very well equipped and as is shown in the photos. We are a family with three children and we were comfortable. The master bedroom faces the street, but it is not noisy. Just keep the curtains closed to maintain intimacy. We had a very cold week, and the heating was just and necessary. Allan, Angela's assistant, complied with the advance check-in we requested and was kind and willing to respond to our requests. Surely we would consider it for a new visit to New York.

Comments: Very cozy and clean 2bed room 1bath apartment. Few blocks away from the subway station. Safe and colorful neighborhood with access to many restaurants. Stocked kitchen and wine cooler. Props on the netflix, extra blankets and the heaters. Will consider use upon return to NYC

Comments: It was my first time in NY and it was everything I could have imagined. The pictures of the home were accurate, great living space for me and my guests. Angela was a great host, very responsive and accommodating. This apartment is centrally located and walking distance to all major attractions and close to all public transit. I would definitely stay here again!

Comments: We enjoyed staying at Angela's apartment and Allan was very helpful. We never got to meet Angela in person but theyade sure that our stay was comfortable. We enjoyed our vacation and the apartment was a big part of it. Location was perfect. Numerous restaurants around the place and so close to places the make New York what it is. Would definitely recommend the place.

Comments: The apartment was centrally located so most of the tourist attractions were within walking distance. Plenty of nightlife and restaurants to keep you busy for weeks.

Comments: So close to great food choices and fun bars! Walking distance to central Park, Time Square, etc. The front room was near the street and was a little noisey but wasn't bad at all! We loved staying here and would definitely do it again!

Comments: Our stay for two adults and three children (ages 12, 14 and 16) was wonderful. The location is excellent- close to lots of subway lines, safe and comfortable. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. My only suggestion is that a little more kitchen ware (glasses, cooking utensils, silverware, etc.) would have made our stay perfect.

Comments: Friends and I stayed here for a trip to NY with the goal of seeing as many shows as possible. The location is perfect--close to Times Square but far enough away to be out of tourist-central. Lots of great restaurants on 9th nearby. The apartment was clean and the logistics easy!

Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Angela's, the location was great and the apartment had a lovely feel. It is small but to be expected for the location in New York. Beds were all comfy and the checkin process was very simple. It was also lovely having Allan meet us there and show us how things work. The only issue we had is that there was not enough cutlery and glassware for 6 people and the hot water also was in short supply for that many people. Overall, great and we would definitely stay there again.

Comments: This apartment is just as pictured! (Beautiful). We traveled to NYC as a girls trip and felt very safe in this neighborhood. We were able to walk to Time Square, the cutest restaurants and bars without any problems! So glad the apartment had a washer and dryer, made packing so much easier! Angela and Allan were so easy to contact and such a pleasure. Would definitely love to stay here again!!

Comments: The place is suitable for groups of 4 but can sleep 6 easily if you are willing to share a bedroom and/or the lounge room. It is walking distance to central park, times square, 5th avenue, loads of resturants and the subway. The front bedroom is a bit noisy as its street level but otherwise waa a great space for a week in NYC.

Comments: Had the opportunity to stay for 1 week with my husband & 2 kids (7 & 10 years) at Angela's place. The location was perfect for us. Nearest subway was 2 short blocks and 2 long NYC blocks. Tons of different types of eateries on 9th Street (Obao, Vynl & Annabel's were excellent). Check in with Angela's assistant was easy. She was waiting for us at the front door to greet us & show us around the apt. Place was clean, beds were very comfy after a busy day of sightseeing. Noise level was not too bad, other than your typical New York sirens, horns, etc. The air conditioning in the room in the back was much stronger than the one in the front. I would recommend staying at Angela's & would consider it again if I were to visit NYC soon.

Comments: Great location (in a nice neighborhood close to Times Square) and apartment (easy first-floor entry), but be VERY leery of the hosts. Our group of six stayed here for three nights (August 17-20, 2017), and worked only with Allan, Angela’s assistant. Upon our arrival, he told us if we got there early to NOT wait outside with our suitcases. Then once inside he asked during our stay that we NOT talk to the neighbors, and that if we happen to run into them – to lie and tell them we are “Angela’s friends” who were visiting. Immediately, we got the impression that the building’s management wasn’t aware they are operating Airbnb through their apartment, and felt uncomfortable. It was upon our arrival that we were also disappointed to find the space not ready or very cleanly. There were leftover bottles of alcohol in the refrigerator, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, no sheets on one of the bedroom beds (luckily there were extras in the closet), and the bathroom was the worst. The bathroom sink’s faucet was broke (so every time we turned it on it lifted off); the shower curtain was a cheap plastic one that was hard and full of soap scum and mold / mildew; and along the bathtub / bathroom floor there was also mildew. Our group had a busy itinerary while visiting NYC, and was only at the apartment to shower and sleep. We had a great trip; my only regret is that I didn’t document some of the things I noted above regarding this apartment because upon our checkout, we got a very unprofessional message from Angela (who we had never even worked with) claiming that we didn’t leave her property in the same condition as when we arrived. In her message, she not only requested / tried to charge us $250 (!!!), she also scolded us for using too many towels (again, there were six of us there for four days – what does she expect?) and wrongfully accused us of puking (?!?!) on her cheap plastic shower curtain (which was an appalling accusation, as we are adults – if someone had got sick, we would have certainly cleaned it up). Basically, we overlooked their dirtiness and then they tried to blame us for it. Our group checked out on time at noon that Sunday, 8/20, and everyone showered that morning and used their towels. Out of pure courtesy to them, we placed our wet towels in the bathtub for the cleaning people to easily access, and apparently that was a huge no-no too. From the message we received, it sounded they wanted us to wash, dry and put away the towels the towels we used before we left. If that was the case, they should have told us. Our group thoroughly cleaned the apartment’s kitchen area (ran the dishwasher and put dishes away; took out the garbage, as requested; emptied the refrigerator), made beds (and even removed the sheets from the ones that...

Comments: This apartment was great for our family of 6 adults in many ways! There was enough room for sleeping as well as hanging out in between activities. One futon wasn't as comfortable for my daughter, but it worked out ok. It was a challenge with only 1 small bathroom, but we got a rhythm going!! There is a small functional kitchen although we went out to eat each night. We also liked having a washer and dryer to use when needed. Everything was clean which is important to me! What we all really liked was the location...close to Times Square, Central Park, Broadway plays as well as the subway! There are a variety of restaurants and bars close by which we checked out nightly! Angela and Allan were easy to communicate with and always replied to all my emails. Check in and check out went smoothly....Allan was there when we arrived as we texted him when we landed and on our way to the apartment. Our week in New York was great as we chose a perfect accommodation!

Comments: Great place in an A1 location for Midtown, Central and Broadway activities. Easy access to the subway, local supermarkets and restaurants on 9th Ave. Not a huge place, small bathroom, but was fine for a family of 5 for a week.

Comments: BEWARE OF ANGELA: I'm sad I have to write this review because I really enjoyed Angela's home. What I liked most about her home was the location, close to everything and walking distance to time square. When I made the reservation with Angela she was nice and answered all my questions... even though it took her a few days to respond. A few days before my trip, I did not hear from her and had to reach out to her to ask if she needed anything from me since the trip was approaching, she said her assistant Allan would check me in. Upon arriving in NY, Allan, who was really nice reached out to me via text and gave me check in time and instructions. A few hours before check in, he texted me again and said he would not be able to make it on time and sent me to another assistant who would check me in. There was a lot of back and forth with Allan and the new assistant about check-in and I did not speak to Angela at all before or during my trip , until after I returned home. She sent me a message claiming we damaged her property and requested $500!!! She claimed we threw a party when there was only 6 of us, saying we broke a "noise device" when all we did was unplug it to plug in a phone charger, saying we broke her chair and "kicked in" her door when neither of those happened since we were barely there, spilling beer and "ruining" her couch when we only had two six packs of beer over the entire 4 days which definitely wasn't spilled, harassing me by sending me pictures and screenshots of the convos with her very unprofessional cleaner who claimed to take an EXTRA 5 hours to clean a two bedroom one bath apartment that just needed trash thrown away and sheets/towels washed. And lastly both her and her cleaner accused me of doing drugs in her apartment when it was very clearly my translucent makeup left over on the counter since there was only one mirror other than the one in the bathroom. My advice to anyone looking to reserve Angela's home: DON'T!!! And if you do make sure you take pictures of every ding and dent in her apartment because she will accuse you of "damages". After she accused me of damaging her property , I read a review from a previous guest who she tried to scam as well. She is clearly running a SCAM and airbnb needs to shut down her operation.

Comments: Angela's place is in a great location. The apartment is right in the heart of Hell's Kitchen, close to many theaters and restaurants. The place is as described and can accommodate five to six guest easily. The beds are great. Angela's assistant was very helpful and available to come over when we needed an extra set of sheets and a couple extra towels. The only issue was that I'd asked if we could leave the luggage before check-in. At first I was told it was a possibility, in case there were no other guests. On the day we had to check-in, the apartment was being vacated and cleaned. When we made it to Manhattan from the airport, I informed Angela's assistant that we had arrived a bit early (about two hours before check-in) and we would be waiting outside if she couldn't let us leave the bags early. Apparently, this was a big issue, because just by waiting on a public sidewalk, we would be disturbing the tenants of the building. Just mentioning that we would be waiting outside prompted several messages from Angela that were pretty rude. "My assistant told you four times already check-in is at 3 pm" (we only wanted to leave our bags) "Find a coffee shop or something" and so on. While I do understand check-in is at a certain time, I have been to many Airbnbs that have made it possible for me and other guests to leave their luggage. I just would have preferred a simple NO in the beginning and I wouldn't have asked again. In the end, even before I got the messages from both owner and assistant, my friends and I had gone to a nearby restaurant, heavy bags in tow, and waited to check in at 3:00 o'clock. I did like the convenience of the apartment, but it wasn't as clean as I would have liked it to be. The washer and dryer had mold stains and the rug in the living room felt like it hadn't been vacuumed in a while. Other than this, it was a pleasant stay. If you're looking for a convenient place with no frills, this is the place for you.

Comments: Great apartment in a quiet street which is easily accessible to Times Square and Central Park. Tons of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance and a couple of grocery stores for soda/milk. Access was easy and the accommodation was great for 2 couples. There is another double bed available, but the apartment may be a little cramped with 6. For those visiting from outside the US, a Roku account is needed to access the TV (if you wish/need to watch). Highly recommended.

Comments: If you want to stay in Hell's Kitchen, close to the theater district, Times Square, subway, and a ton of delicious restaurants, this is your spot. It's super clean, very comfortable and with the exception of being a little on the chilly side due to a broken heater in one of the bedrooms, it's a brilliant place to stay, at a super reasonable price. (Mind you the heater problem is probably only temporary and won't matter much once the month of May comes around, and they did supply a nice little space heater that helped take the chill out of the air) In all seriousness location is key with this place. I mean I walked everywhere, but what I really loved was having a washer and dryer! Man oh Man it's good to travel light and wash your clothes. Lastly, I can't forget the hospital of Angela's assist Allen who was our contact point for the stay and he couldn't have been better. Prompt, friendly, and just a cool guy. He even went so far as to ship me back a left behind headset the same day I left it. Thank you Allen. This is a great example of what an airbnb property should be.

Comments: Angela: I can’t thank you enough for extending your place to us. I am so glad I cancelled the hotel because your place was above and beyond anything we could have gotten at a hotel. The biggest plus for me was the fact that after a full day of sightseeing, we were able to come back and relax in a comfortable place with more amenities than any hotel could offer. The place was convenient to Times Square and many restaurants and other places we were able to walk to. Although it was really cold outside, the house was warm and very comfortable. The washer/dryer, Netflix/SlingTV and numerous sleeping arrangement options made the stay perfect for a family. Allan was an absolute joy to work with. He was extremely responsive and very proactive in communicating the details to us. I plan to come back to NYC when school is out and I would love to stay again!! Thank you!

Comments: Angela’s place was very nice, comfortable and clean. Very convenient to Time Square (about a 10 minute walk). Great access to a huge variety of restaurants. Walking distance to Penn Station. Allan checked us in and was very prompt in meeting us and answering texts. Very close to the theater district and Central Park. All within walking distance. There were 6 of us so it was a little difficult getting everyone showered in the same night because the hot water only lasted for about three people but that was not a big deal. I would definitely stay here again.

Comments: We had a great 10 day visit in New York. The location was great, about one block away from subway. Short walk to times square, central park. Great host, easy to contact and we received help when we needed. Place is excactly like described.

Comments: We had an amazing week in this spacious apartment, the location was superb and we walked almost everywhere! Only 10mins walk to times sq, 20mins to 5th ave, 10mins to Central Park etc. Very professional host and greeter and we were very pleased with our choice. My only negative feedback was the front bedroom was a little noisy from the street and doors of other block users (but not so noisy that it would stop me going back) Overall the apartment was very clean/modern and if I was to re-visit New York I would stay here again. Also to state the obvious, as a first timer in NYC the place is amazing!!

Comments: We were a group of 5 and a baby, having a small reunion and seeing a show together. This apartment was the perfect location for us to walk to the theaters and very convenient to public transit when we went exploring. Checkin and checkout were a breeze, the amenities were excellent, and the building and street were surprisingly quiet for being so centrally located. Price was very competitive and I consider it to be a great value. Overall, we loved our experience here and highly recommend it to others!

Comments: Very conveniently located to Times Square and lots of restaurants and markets very close by. The apartment was Ultra Modern, clean and comfortable. Large enough for my family of 6 people. expensive and small, but it's Manhattan, so that's normal. Excellent person to check you in and help you throughout your stay.

Comments: Angela's place is located in the heart of the city, yet it's on a quiet street. This was a real plus. There was ample sleeping space for our entire family. Being able to stay together as a family made our trip that much more enjoyable.

Comments: The pictures are an accurate reflection of Angela’s place. The apartment was bigger than we expected for New York. Also we hit the city on a heat wave and the AC was excellent and much appreciated. The kids also enjoyed Netflix and Stan as we got ready for days out that didn’t see us returning until very late. The closest subway station is still a bit of a walk for kids. Lastly, the towels were a bit thin and worn, and the shower curtains stained but overall we were happy with the air BNB and would recommend.

Comments: This is a great place in a central location close to a lot of amazing restaurants. The place is much better than a hotel.

Comments: Angela's place is spotlessly clean and has everything you could need to sleep, eat and relax comfortably and we were a family of 7, youngest 12 years. The location is absolutely perfect. We walked everywhere, liberty cruise(pier 83), central park, empire state, chrysler building, Grand central station, no need for the subway although we didn't explore south manhattan this time as we only had 3 days. Allan met us and was very friendly and helpful, making good suggestions for places to shop and eat. Hells kitchen is rammed with fab quirky restaurants, we went Italian (Uncle Marios), Cheese and wine and America (route 66). Cycle hire is a 20min walk away at most and our car hire for leaving was 10/15 min walk, so convenient. Would highly recommend.

Comments: Best location ever! Less than 10 minutes walking to Times Square and a lot of grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The flat had everything we needed and Allan and Angela provided us all the Information we wanted and answered always very quickly. I would really recommend it!

Comments: We had arranged an early check in but there was some mix up and Angela hadn’t let Allan know about our arrival. We had to wait at nearby cafe for a couple of hours. Alan was very accommodating and friendly so that made up for the inconvenience. The place itself is in a great location, it was clean but definitely needs a repaint. A lot of marks on walls etc but I suppose with an Airbnb it’s expected. The only other thing I’d mention was the noise from the upstairs tenant. Could hear them stomping from one end of the floor to the other. We were so tired after walking all day we slept regardless but if you’re a light sleeper it may grind. Overall we had a great time and I’d definitely return.

Comments: A well located apartment and good layout however in need of some maintenance.

Comments: The location of the apartment was great, and considering how central it is the street it was on was relatively quiet. We stayed with our young daughter, and unfortunately, on arrival, the apartment had none of the items it listed for children, including the baby cot or the high chair. This would have been a big issue, but the hosts assistant Allan was brilliant. He ran across town to pick up a travel cot and brought it back within the hour. The front bedroom is pretty noisy at the weekend but absolutely fine during the week. Brilliant breakfast spots and bars all just a short walk away. All in all, it was a great stay at a pretty good apartment.
