Urban and artistic part of Brooklyn, with influence of various cultures, close to subway station, it is easy to go anywhere from there.   Comments: Benny's home IS a home! And Benny a wonderful host. I won't forget the light and serene atmosphere in his living room, his generosity and the talks we had. Benny cares for his guests. Lovely to see how he's cultivating tiny bonsai and other rare plants under the bright windows. Last, but not least: good music's around at all times... The area is safe, traffic is calm, lots of markets around, two subway lines at easy walking distance. Benny's home is a living and vivid and at the same time peaceful place

  Comments: We had a great stay at Benny's loft! There was a private bed room area that my boyfriend and I stayed in and was able to open a window into the amazing morning light. The bathroom was kept very clean, as was the kitchen. He even provided some delicious coffee options :) The neighborhood was definitely dynamic and full of life! We enjoyed walking down the street and people watching. There were food stands, pizza by the slice shops, and tons of Asian food restaurants. We were very glad we found this place and would definitely stay here again if we come back to Brooklyn.

  Comments: Hi Benny, We've had an awesome time! Your apartment was a perfect base to start our activities from. Bushwick is an interesting place, representing NY in a complete different way. We found some nice bars, saw the Nets loose from the Bulls, and we ran over the Williamsburg bridge. I would definitely recommend other people to stay in your place. cheers Jan & Valentijn

  Comments: I stayed at Benny's place for a couple of nights during my trip to NY. The building was really unique and central to stores/restaurants as well as public transit. The apartment was clean and beautiful, with fast wifi and access to an amazing rooftop. Would have loved a longer stay there!

  Comments: My stay with Benny was amazing from start to finish. The place was stunning — such a cool, homey loft space and a comfortable, private room. Everything was also super clean. The place is also right next to several Subway stops, so it was easy for me to get into Manhattan for work every day. Finally, Benny is a great host. He left the keys for me to pick up at my convenience at a cafe down the road, welcomed me with a beer and a chat, left some recommendations for me in my room, and checked in every now in then over the course of my stay to make sure everything was going okay. Next time I am in New York I will be reaching out again. Highly recommend!

  Comments: Benny is a super interesting guy, easy going and really nice. At first glance the neighborhood looks a little bit shady but as you walk by, you realize is just an upcoming area of Brooklyn. There are a loft of nice places to go, from vegan places to cool craft beer bars, all of them with the most hipster vibe. Even though me and my s/o had a private room, the loft was very crowded almost always and we did not feel we had the privacy we wanted. As of cleanliness, the standard was ok but it could have been better. I would recommend this place to young travelers and easy going couples who are looking for a nice place to explore the most fun areas of Brooklyn and Manhattan (it was a 35 minute trip on Metro to Manhattan).

  Comments: Super séjour chez benny. Appartement très bien situé, près des transports en commun. Benny et ses colocataires sont très gentils et très accueillants. Le quartier de Bushwick est dans l'esprit jeune et bohème donc ne soyez pas surpris parl'ambiance vivante et où rien n'est carré, très clean ou super organisé, c'est l'ambiance hipster mais c'est aussi ce qui fait son charme. En tout les cas nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

  Comments: Benny's place is relaxed, unpolished but friendly atmosphere, in apartment, building and neighbourhod. The room is all good for very good friends or a couple:) Bushwick is still a bit rough, nice for the change after a day Manhattan or Wiliamsburg. Nice places closeby for drinkink a good coffee or cocktails at night. It's close to subway and buses. Benny and his roommates are very hospitable, we had a great stay!

  Comments: ﾙｰﾑｵｰﾅｰは非常に日本贔屓のｱﾒﾘｶ人で､部屋はﾃﾞｻﾞｲﾝのｱｲﾃﾞｨｱに富み､清潔で､静かで､ﾘﾗｯｸｽできます｡ ﾙｰﾑﾒｲﾄも皆優しくて親切です｡ 泊まった部屋は､大きなｽﾀｼﾞｵの中に手作りで創られた2階建ての小屋の1階でした｡工夫と創造性に溢れた､素敵な空間です｡wifiもあります｡ ただ､もし一般的ﾋﾞｼﾞﾈｽﾕｰｽで考えるなら､この部屋に限らず､一般的なｼｪｱﾙｰﾑは避けたほうがいいでしょう｡日本人はなんだかんだで､仕事に集中したい時は完全に遮蔽されたﾌﾟﾗｲﾍﾞｰﾄ空間を好みます(僕もそう)が､ｼｪｱﾙｰﾑでそれは無理です｡静かとは言え､3人が共同生活をしているので､会話は発生するし､料理や掃除も始まるし､風呂の順番だってﾏﾅｰを守らねばなりません｡あくまでくつろぐときに部屋を利用し､仕事はｶﾌｪなどでやるのが無難です｡ ちなみに､ｵｰﾅｰは日本語を話せますが､少しだけです｡基本的に英語でｺﾐｭﾆｹｰｼｮﾝする必要があります｡ ちなみにｱﾒﾆﾃｨはﾊﾞｽﾀｵﾙ1枚なので､歯ﾌﾞﾗｼや石鹸など身の回りのものは自分で持っていくか近所のﾃﾞﾘなどで買いましょう｡ よい旅を｡

The room itself was a little different than we expected. The walls are really thin, and there's no ventilation so we had to keep the window open the whole time which opens to the living room. This made the room feel less private than we anticipated.

  Comments: Benny’s loft ist super. Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt. Er ist ein unkomplizierter, netter Musiker. Wir würden sofort wieder bei ihm übernachten. Die Gegend (Bushwick) hat uns gut gefallen. Viele kleine Grocery Stores und leckere Sandwiches bis spät in die Nacht. Es ist der perfekte Ort um Brooklyn kennenzulernen. Von hier aus ist man in circa 30min mit der Subway in Manhatten.

  Comments: Benny's place is as described: characterful with a spacious, colourful living area with lots of light. Less serene in winter due to the industrial living room heating system, but you won't be cold here. I didn't see much of Benny, but he responded immediately to notes/e.mails and kindly let me leave my bag later on the day of check out. It was a great location for Manhattan and Brooklyn and felt safe; just check JFK airport trains if arriving at weekends-services are erratic and there are replacement buses, changes and lots of steps and a general lack of communication overall about services.

This place is extremely cool , comfortable, clean , and a quiet homebase in the heart of the city. Perfect for someone who wants a safe, seamless and stress free experience. I was loving all the natural light , eclectic art objects and positive energy. I would recommend this place for fashion models, photographers, and instagrammers , because it has tons of authentic character and interesting places to shoot. It feels like the dream New York studio only seen in the movies. It was very tidy and well taken care of. The kitchen was clean. but I never used it because there are so many amazing restaurants nearby. I felt like I pretty much had the space privately to myself and well respected in every regard. This place has a awesome rooftop with panoramic view and is very close to the subway. I needed some recommendations and directions Benny was a great source of knowledgeable info. The place has an amazing ambience, and it feels very relaxed. Benny himself is super easy to communicate with, and he was kind to let me leave my bags for a few hours more when i checked out.   Comments: Bennys  beautiful loft is immediately eye catching with its beautiful high ceilings and tasteful decor . The space is welcoming and safe (2 pass key activated doors to enter the building and iron fire door to enter the unit  ) despite what some might tell you about the neighbourhood in Brooklyn being a bit risqué.  Benny was very careful to set up the bedroom with fresh linen and towels .The loft is  easily accessable via the M J and L lines that runs 24/7 and we felt it was ideally located for a place to call home to come back to after a tiring day touring New York .  There  are plenty of corner stores/ deli's nearby to grab a breakfast to start off your day or to grab some beers on the way back in the evening to chill on the terrace and soak in the views of Brooklyn .  I have absolutely no regrets about booking Bennys place and would highly recommend the space for anybody looking to visit the big Apple ! So don't give your money to the Hilton or the Marriott and live in a bland pistacio painted room with a shitty view.. support a local New Yorker and elevate your NY  experience by living/communting the way real New Yorkers do! Thank you once again Benny for your beautiful space and kind hospitality.
