  Comments: Amazing property. Could not be happier with this stay. The house is beautiful, the surrounding front and back outdoor area is very spacious, interior is tastefully decorated, and the ocean is just yards away. This was a perfect stay for our 2 yr old daughter who had lots of room to run around and absolutely loved the outside trampoline. The location is central to driving to Kihei, Lahaina, Paia or Kahalui. One of the best places my family has stayed. There are charming ducks and chickens roaming around on the property - the only slight downside was the great amount of duck poop on the porch every morning but it was an easy cleanup with the outside hose. It was a small thing compared to our wonderful stay.

  Comments: Despite the fact that there is not that much in the walking distance (yes, there is a beach and some small stores), this location is a great one as you are in the central position of the island and nothing is more than 20 minutes away. Property itself looks even better than in the pictures and it is quite large. House is very nice and you will probably find everything you need even though if you plan to cook every day you might be somewhat limited. Biggest problem we encountered is something that looked cool at the beginning - ducks walking around the property. They would constantly poop at the front deck and the deck would quickly become disgusting and unusable. Even if you wash it out with the hose, it will take them no time to make the mess again. However, somehow they decided to leave the back (ocean side) deck alone so we were able to truly enjoy the beautiful view. I would recommend the place to couples or families with older children - not babies or small kids as the bedrooms are awkwardly placed (one is right at the entrance door) so you have to walk through the whole house to get to second bedroom. The host vas very helpful and responded quickly to all our questions.

  Comments: This house is amazing. The view, style and amenities suited our family of four for relaxation, cooking, and fun. All in a great location. The Ma'alaea General Store nearby, which Kristine also owns, is a great stop for food, smoothies and basic supplies. The only downside is the duck poop on the front porch, but everything else well made up for that small detail. We had a great time and would do it again.

  Comments: A beautiful quiet and relaxing home away from the crowds and walking distance to the beach. A perfect home for our family of 4. We all enjoyed the in ground trampoline, the resident ducks, and the turtles swimming along the shore. We hope to return soon! ❤️

  Comments: The home is perfect, exactly what I dreamed of from every aspect. Central location, right on the water, great areas to hang out from hammocks to daybeds to loungers and couches. Incredible open kitchen has everything a chef needs with a great floor plan that keeps you part of the action in the house and still connected to the ocean. The bedding was exquisitely comfortable, especially with the sound of the oceans outside the window. Very tastefully decorated with old and new, laid back and luxury touches. The outdoor direct entryway to the shower is a genius idea. We will be back!

  Comments: This home is spectacular in every way. The view, the space, the amenities and surprises, the proximity to attractions, the privacy, and the adorable ducks! We saw sea turtles from the bay right in the backyard. We snorkeled, kayaked, grilled out, relaxed in the hot tub (we also rented the guest house on the property) and hammocks, and cooked in the gourmet kitchen. It was heartbreaking to leave.   Comments: Elegant. Tranquil. Little piece of heaven. This home is a must stay for for anyone thinking about traveling during whale watching season. We saw tons of whales in the bay. Great location too close drive to the airport as while as many other must see sights. Waking up to watch the sunrise every morning with tea on the deck overlooking the ocean was the most wonderful highlight of our stay here. You will be greeted by the birds on the property every morning they are so friendly and will come right up to you. Kristine is an amazing and thoughtful host they have thought of everything and have a binder filled with info about the house places to visit and places to eat be sure to look thru it because it sent us some amazing places we never would have thought about otherwise. There are tons of amenities for the water on the back deck, a cooler cane in handed for day trips to the beach, aloe and aftersun lotion for those sunburn recovery days, all bathroom amenities you could ever need of vacation. The bed were so cozy and bathrooms were pristine. This is one of the best and most accurate Airbnb ever and I highly recommend staying here. To put a little icing on the cake communication with our host was prompt and very helpful they really want your stay to be the best possible!

  Comments: One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed - the location is perfect, with the beach 2 mins away and turtles feeding in the water right next to the property! The house itself is stunning, with lots of little extra touches like sunscreen and snorkel gear and kayaks available to borrow. Oh and there are adorable pet ducks and a trampoline!! A truly idyllic location for a vacation.

  Comments: The view, the house and the surrounding property is truly beautiful. In addition to the view, we also loved the large yard with lush green grass, beautiful tropical plants & trees, a bunch of large hammocks on the property and a huge trampoline to play with. The ducks and chickens were a fun addition to the property (though they did poop all over the entryway). Unfortunately, there were some difficulties that were hard to overlook particularly at this price point. The general house cleanliness was quite poor.. floors were super dusty and needed a good mopping. Some of the kitchenware had crusty dust or rust on them. Other things were broken.. kitchen/scissors/blenders/glassware/kitchen gas downdraft. Also, only the living room ac worked, the bedrooms got rather hot. We really weren't expecting these issues at this price point hence the 3* review. The house had a lot of geckos. We expected these outside or on the deck- but we spotted these just about everywhere you don't want to see one... in the bathroom, on our towels, on our clothes, on the chair, on the bed.

  Comments: This place is heaven! We stayed for 9 days and I think it may be my favorite place to stay ever. The place is so much better than the pictures. You can jump in the water if you walk down the rocks and we used the kayaks. The outside bed is amazing and the upstairs sun deck is cool. The location is good- the town is meh (no good restaurants), but you are right in the middle of Kihei and Wailea- both are 15 minutes away. The kitchen is perfect for cooking and is well stocked. It says it has a hot tub and it does, but it is attached to the other unit on the property and we felt weird as their outdoor shower is right there. I was concerned about the other unit on the property as we didn’t rent it, but we never saw anyone (just their car)- and it is a huge property so you don’t even realize it is there. Honestly if you are looking for a beautiful home right on the water- this place is more than perfect.

  Comments: House was AMAZING. Perfect location. Right on the water. Great value in terms of the size of the house. Air conditioning in master did not work. There was a heat wave and it made it extremely difficult to sleep. We have a 5 month old and he got dehydrated to the point where we had to contact his pediatrician. It gets toasty in the master.

  Comments: My daughter and I LOVE this home! I would live here! The photos do not do it justice. The beds were some of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in! We LOVE (and already miss) the ducks (and chickens too). We were only bummed we couldn’t really swim in the ocean from the house and the nearby beaches were not good. We didn’t like the neighborhood overall- but could just enjoy the lovely house for many days weeks or months!! Kristine was a very responsive host & we’ll be back !

  Comments: Absolutely a beautiful home with amazing views - you’re 20 feet or so from the ocean! Though no true beach (there are beautiful rocks), there are beaches on either side you could access. There’s a huge swing bed outside, great outdoor table as well as huge dining room table and a very spacious living area not to mention a lanai on the ocean side as well as the front yard/garden side. The home is very secluded behind lots of vegetation and a sliding wooden gate across the driveway entrance.
