  Comments: The Wyndham Ka Eo Kai is the perfect place to stay on the North Shore. Centrally located, friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed, jacuzzi tub. It was like staying in a hotel at a fraction of the price. We didn't get a chance to experience all of the amenities (tennis courts, swimming pool, etc) but what we did use was terrific. Only minor annoyance was a rooster outside who liked to wake everyone up at dawn.

  Comments: The Wyndham Ka 'Eo Kai is in a great location for exploring the north shore. The room was clean and as described/pictured. Check-in was easy. The kitchenette (microwave, minifridge, plates, silverware) were very helpful for snacks and keeping drinks on hand. One minor downside is that they were a bit pushy with selling the time-share and promoting a welcome/island introduction event with vendors of different activities

  Comments: Room was exactly what I was hoping for, but there was one problem-the room is essentially an extra bedroom for the main living quarters next door. It has its own outside entrance, but also a lockoff door inside, and that door lets in ALL THE SOUND from the neighboring room. I had a family of 5 next door. I could even smell their cooking (wish I could have had some too!).

  Comments: The resort is very nice and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub (whirl pool) every evening. The room was clean and the size is perfect for 2 people. Our studio was part of a larger apartment (the door to the rest of the apartment locked) - so the only negative part of our stay was that we could hear the people who rented the other part of the apartment. Luckily they were not very loud. Nice place, with nice facilities.

  Comments: Nice space for 2 people and we enjoyed our stay but as many reviewers note, you can hear every word of every conversation next door (and we are not typically picky about this). The balcony pictured is not the balcony for the unit we stayed in (27BE) - ours overlooked the tennis courts. Not a big deal to us, but might be important to someone else.

  Comments: Amazing place and location. The place is better than the pictures suggest and is extremely neat and clean. The resort concierge were extremely helpful and helped us plan our stay very well and were available on the phone through the day to help us reschedule excursions as needed. Fresh beach towels were available as needed and they provided us with an ice cooler as well. Extremely happy with our stay and I would come back and recommend it to others as well.

  Comments: Great spot close to everything on the north shore. It's a perfect spot for people who are active and want to explore the island and have a safe comfortable spot to crash. The bathroom was huge with a tub to soak after a day of hiking. This is a lock off studio unit from the main unit so only a door separates the units so you can hear conversations, but it wasn't a problem as at night the guests next door were quiet. But for someone looking for very quiet and private, it might not be the best, but it was perfect for myself for 2 nights

Not sure that can be helped, and we weren't too bothered since we were off doing hiking and other adventures on the island the whole week. Otherwise, perfect landing pad, quiet, and great amenities.

Schöne gepflegte Poolanlage mit sep. Kochbereich Gasgrill. Wir haben diesen Kochbereich nicht benutzt. Die Anlage ist auf jedenfall weiterzuempfehlen

  Comments: DO NOT STAY HERE. I was 100% let down by ResortShare. When we arrived to check in, the Wyndham in Princeville had no idea who I was or where my reservation was; they were not able to find me in their system. When I called you for help there was NO response. The emergency numbers provided went to voicemails that weren't set up. For all I knew I was scammed. I was forced to book a hotel at the last minute that took me way over my budget, forcing me to dip into other areas of my trip and cut from other areas. Hotels were all full on the island while we were here so we couldn't be picky and ended up having to book somewhere on a totally different part of the island making several plans very difficult. This was all due to someone's very serious error to not adequately communicate with the Wyndham to get proper names on file even though ResortShare reached out during the booking process to ensure they had the right names on file. Princeville looked very beautiful. I wish that we were able to stay there as planned. When we come back to Kauai, we will be staying in that part of the island because it can't be beat. However, I will never book through ResortShare at this location or anywhere else in the world because of their lack of organization, communication at check in, as well as professionalism. Save the headache and take your money somewhere else! Tip** While talking with the concierge at the Wyndham after they couldn't check us in, she mentioned AirBNB is fairly new on the island and many sites and agencies are struggling with it. You might be better off booking directly through hotels or resorts. We ended up booking at a Hilton Garden Inn on the island and got tons of amenities like free drinks and beach equipment and other things that we wouldn't have gotten staying in this timeshare. Might be bit more money up front but it evens out in the long run. Hope this helps!

Great location for North shore activities. Con- place looks a bit different than the picture. It's way smaller. It's loud because it has NO AC and you have to open all the windows. You can definitely hear your neighbors. This place has good value overall. You get what you pay for :) mahalo

Any problems that we did encounter with the apartment, the staff was quick to fix them. Overall everything went well and would definitely stay there again.

  Comments: We didn't have a great experience. The room we were given had a very strong smell of mildew and there was mold on the windows. I messaged whoever manages this listing but never heard back. Eventually I was able to get a different room but it took an hour or so of wrangling at the front desk. All in all, the place was fine once the mold issue was taken care of. The lack of response by the host was the most concerning aspect.

  Comments: The room we stayed in had ants in it. Every night we had to bring our food to the car so the ants wouldn't get in it. The management company does not operate from Hawaii so their ability to solve anything is very limited. Basically they call the hotel and complain for you which ultimately does not get anything done. For the price of this place (although I realize options are limited for princeville) I was disappointed and would never stay again. North shore is great and definitely stay around there.. just not here unless you like annoyances on your vacation.

  Comments: Good place to stay, room is similar to photos but not the same. Super clean, amazing pool and hot tub area that were never too crowded. Good location to use as a springboard to explore the north shore. Construction/repaving going on so it was difficult to find a parking spot at times. Laundry area was pretty disappointing with only one working machine and not well at that.

  Comments: This unit is attached to another unit. The door that separates the two units has a gap at the bottom that allows you to see the light on in the other unit at night, and you can hear the people over there. Overall the place was fine, we spent very little time there as we were usually out and about enjoying the island. Think of it as a hotel room rather than a condo, and you'll be fine.

The location is near Hanalei, cool and hip area. However with the road to Hanalei Bay closed, it is pretty far to get to many attractions such as Waimea Canyon (c. 1.5-2 hour drive) or Poipei beach. The communication with the host is great!

  Comments: This resort is beautifully located, on the golf course in Princeville. The views are stunning and the resort is great. The check-in was smooth, the room clean. The small kitchen unit would make it extremely difficult to cook, but possible if you plan to only use the microwave or the community BBQ. The fridge had an ice maker, which was AWESOME! We also had a big corner tub, and I loved that!! The reason I chose to downgrade the star rating.... fellow travelers just BE AWARE: It’s a timeshare, so there is no maid service during your stay. They will give you a presentation if you’d like, but we did not, and we didn’t feel pressured. We stayed for 10 days and so we requested new linens, but the resort won’t put them on the bed, only deliver them. The bed was so firm I hurt everywhere after the first night. I ended up sleeping on pillows the whole time. The bed was an big issue for me, because no one wants to sleep like crap on vacation. There is also no place for baggage in the small lockout room we were in. No closet for hanging items. The table and chairs ended up being a mess of suitcases, shoes and clothes.

  Comments: Great place to stay in Princeville. Everything you need is here, and the pool and grounds are gorgeous. Was very nice having the kichenette for breakfasts. This is a time share property, so we unplugged our phone as they contacted us at 8am the first day to invite us to come listen to their presentation. Comfortable accommodation with everything you need. We did request to move rooms (wanted a higher floor for the balcony) and they obliged. Each room is slightly different one had a/c! (Although with the breeze, we found we didn’t need it). One had a much better balcony and bed.

  Comments: Pros- very clean accommodations, nice spacious bathroom with shower and tub, peekaboo ocean views from unit, easy check in/out, close to pool and hot tub. Location is close to Hanalei town, but not much else up that way due to road closures. Cons- Golf course separates you from the ocean which you can’t access, parking for any nearby beaches is practically non existent in princeville and a really long walk. Location of condo is noisy, not for light sleepers- near trash, balcony looks out to trash, parking lot and clubhouse. And the unit runs a little hot (and this was winter) and has no AC only ceiling fan (which was warned ahead of time in description so no complaints just something to consider).
