  Comments: Todd was an excellent host and such a nice person! He made sure the condo was very clean before we arrived, was able to meet us to explain how the condo worked, answer any questions we had, and left us with restaurant recommendations. Todd was quick to respond to all communication before and during our stay. We truly enjoyed staying in his condo; the layout was great, decor BEAUTIFUL, and location was really nice. The condo was equipped with extra bedding, towels, dishes and utensils, plenty of storage space, and beach equipment. This place definitely felt like a home away from home (bonus: just steps away from the beach!). One note: Please keep the kitchen counters clean or sugar ants will find your crumbs, they weren't an issue though. My mum and I were more than comfortable, and would love to stay here again on a future trip!

  Comments: Todds apartment is just as beautiful as in the pictures and you really do have the most fantastic ocean view from the balcony which is nice and shady during the hot midday hours. The kitchen is very well equipped if you want to do some cooking or even prepare your own smoothies with fresh island produce. A lot of restaurants and cafes are in walking distance and Todd gave us some very good recommendations. A highlight for me was also that all beach equipment (towels, chairs, sunshade and snorkeling gear) is available for two (especially handy when only arriving with carry-on luggage. Overall we could not have asked for a better apartment to enjoy our Maui vacation. For those interested, there is a surf school who rents out boards right across the street and you can always watch some surfers at the beach in front of the building.

  Comments: Even though I didn't meet Todd, he was an exceptional host. He checked on me repeatedly in the lead up to my stay and while I was there to ensure I was ok and to see if he could help in any way. He was very responsive as well and made great recommendations. The condo was stocked with kitchenware for cooking, towels (beach and high-thread bath), and linens. It quite spacious, comfortable, modern, clean, and decorated VERY nicely. The view of the ocean from the balcony was amazing. Overall, I had a fantastic stay considering the area and the condo. I visited friends in Wailea who stayed at a resort and condo, but still I preferred Todd's place and Kihei because of the ambiance, amenities (e.g. beach gear!), proximity to beaches, restaurants and vibe. I highly recommend Todd's place. Thanks for a memorable stay, Todd.

  Comments: The condo is situated directly across the street from a popular beach that we took surf lessons at for a few mornings. Food markets and good places to eat are close by, walking distance. Todd's condo is perfectly clean, well decorated and perfect for my family. Todd is a great host. He is kind, helpful, available and organized. He allowed us to take in a friend at last minute, and accommodated an early check in. He gave us spot on ideas for day trips and restaurant reservations. I highly recommend a stay at this condo.

  Comments: Todd's place has an oceanfront view out of his private balcony and is across the street from a nice public beach. The apartment is very clean and centrally located to many activities. There are multiple paddleboard/surfboard/snorkeling/scuba rentals just downstairs by the street and Todd's place is located to several excellent food trucks including the most highly rated Poke on Maui. Besides this, a 15 minute drive to Wailea will get you to the great shopping districts and short drives north will get you everywhere else on the west side of Maui. Todd is an excellent host who really cares about cleanliness and making effort to help. He has some of his own body boards and scuba gear as well. We will be checking on his place the next time we are in Maui.

  Comments: This is definitely one of the better units in the Kihei area for the view and price. I have stayed in many buildings/apartments over many years in the area and was very impressed with the amenities of this unit - everything is clean and in good working order, plenty of small details that make the stay even better (eg. laundry,dishwasher/dish soap, great bathroom lighting & shower, shower soap & shampoo, hair dryer, even coffee and sugar for the morning). A/C worked well, fans in living and bedrooms and a great cross-breeze made the temperature quite comfortable. The bed was also VERY comfortable with memory foam mattress and great quality linens. Fantastic view of the beach and ocean from the lovely lanai. I highly recommend this unit. Todd was also very polite and easily reachable for communication. Mahalo, Todd!

Everything from water sport rentals downstairs to wonderful eats and bars within a 5 minute walk. The unit was clean and the bed was so comfortable!   Comments: Todd’s place is the perfect Maui rental and made our trip so much more enjoyable. A lot of rentals I find myself saying “Shoot, they don’t have it” and I have to take a trip to the store. You can tell Todd paid attention to every detail when setting up his place. For example, he has three different types of pillows on the bed. Firm, soft and feather. Coffee machine with coffee, cream and sugar. All the beach gear you will need, soft cooler, two beach chairs, several sets of snorkel gear, two boggie boards, umbrella and beach towels. He also has plenty of regular towels and all the shower stuff you will need. In-unit laundry with all the detergents hairdryer, first-aid kit, the list goes on. The place is new remodeled, cozy and clean. The bed is super comfortable and the chairs on the lanai are perfect for lounging and watching the waves. Checking in and out and the free parking was effortless and Todd was an excellent communicator. He even accommodated our late checkout with short notice. A++ Stop looking around and just book Todd’s place it will make your Maui stay that much better. Thanks again Todd!

  Comments: Perfect location in Kihei! In the heart of the downtown location. We went for walks along the beach which is right across the street! Walked to cafes, eateries, and shopping all within 5 minutes from the condo. It was super convenient and made the stay so worth it. The drive to Lahaina and Wailea was not bad! And Todd is an excellent host! We went to several of his suggested places. His home is equipped with beach gear. And can't forget to mention the lanai (balcony) with the beach views. We are at least 5 meals just admiring the action of the beach and people nearby. His place is clean and modern! Todd is super responsive and a pleasure to communicate with!

  Comments: My girlfriend and I stayed at Todd's condo recently for a week. ABsolutely perfect location, right off the beach in Kihei. Directly across the street from a surf shop where you an get surf lessons and rent surf gear. Lots of restaurants, shops, beaches, some bars within walking distance. Condo itself was very adequate for two people. Full kitchen, washer, dryer, lawn chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach towels, free parking, all very convenient. Only complaint would be the rooster that seemed to live next door to the building, not sure if it's always there or if we got unlucky. As a light sleeper, the damn thing woke me up very early most days. Hard to hold this against Todd himself, but just trying to remain as truthful and informational as possible. Would stay again.

  Comments: First off I wanted to say that this Owner has to be the most helpful person I've dealt with on Airbnb. The place was really nice and clean with everything you need inside to enjoy your trip. Had a slight problem with the AC unit but he came over that day and installed a brand new one with no problem at all. He made everything super easy. The overall view is amazing on the Lanai. The AC works extremely well to stay cool while being inside. It's centrally located in Kihei so it makes everything really easy to get too. I would recommend this place to anyone and would love to stay in it again on my next visit to Maui. Thank you

It has a very convenient location, only steps away from the beach, a large supermarket, a sporty park (beach volleyball etc.), and great food from a variety of restaurants as well as food trucks. The balcony boasts a beautiful view of the beach and sunset, and from there you can take in sea breeze and the sound of waves in the evening when traffic has become slight. Todd being a stylist, his apartment is well laid out with tasteful furniture, romantic lighting, and eye-pleasing decorations. Though we didn't get to meet him in person, we felt the existence of a beautiful soul by staying in Todd's apartment.

  Comments: It is a very cute small 1 bedroom apartment with some cool decorative touches. It is supper clean and has all what you may need for a daily day stay. Todd, the host, is very responsive and pleasant pearson. The ocean view is practically unobstructed (the palms make it spectacular) because the condo is located on the 5th floor. The building is located on the busy street thus is a bit noisy there, but hey, if you like to be close to shoppings and restaurants and you are up to for nightly life that is the place. Just crossing that street and you are in the beach park with a strand. The ocean side is rocky but sandy beaches are very close by. The cool things are the surf shop just under the balcony and its activities. They are renting surfing and paddling boards; I took the class and loved it!!! You will see people enjoying surfing and paddling right from the seat on the balcony. In summary it is the cool, cute place.

  Comments: First-timers to Maui and first timers with Air BnB and we absolutely loved our stay here. The condo was perfect, beautifully decorated, and cozy for me and my wife. We felt like we had the comforts of home plus more. We loved that it’s central to most places on the island and even better that it’s close to beaches. We even walked to the grocery store one day (two blocks away). There are too many great things to say about this place. The lanai was our favorite part. We made it a point to wake up early every morning to sit on the lanai, drink coffee, watch the people at the surf school below, and listen to the ocean. The next time we are in Maui we hope to stay here again.

  Comments: Really solid choice for your stay in Maui. This was our first time to Maui and we didn’t know much about the different parts of the island — we fell in love with Kihei and Todd’s place is right in the middle of the action. Across the street is a great park and beautiful oceanfront walking path, and he’s also right next to a really fun bar and restaurant area which we stumbled upon our first night. His place was super clean and great quality (nice sheets, nice towels etc) and had free parking, so made for the perfect “home base” for our trip. Kihei was also a convenient spot to stay as it made trips to West and East Maui equally convenient. Would definitely recommend this spot to friends coming to the island who want to stay in a more local / less touristy area that is both beautiful and convenient!

  Comments: Todd’s place was the perfect spot in Maui! The description and photos of the condo were exactly what we got. The location was really central and easy to access. It’s right across the street from a cute little beach, and right below is a tour company that does stand up paddle board and surfing lessons. There’s a full grocery store just a few blocks west, and a fantastic little natural/ health food store (with great sandwiches and such) just to the east. It’s a few blocks from what I was told is the “BARmuda” triangle, which is where a few popular bars are, but not so close that it’s bothersome. The condo has a great little private pool, and Todd provides beach towels and other beach gear in case you didn’t bring any. There is a bit of road noise during the day, since it’s located right off a very popular area, but if you close the sliding door you can’t hear anything. It didn’t bother us a bit, but I know some are more sensitive than others. It’s pretty quiet at night, and you can’t even hear the neighbors. The condo was super clean and Todd was very quick to respond. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had! I want to also shamelessly plug Bio-Beetles car rentals in Maui. If you’re planning on renting a car there (and you probably are!) check them out. We had a great experience with them, as well, and it saved us a ton of money versus renting from a larger company. Now I can officially say: MAHALO!

There’s beach access very close, and the pictures very accurately represent the space. Also, the bed was very comfortable and fragrance-free—some of the best nights’ rests I’ve had in an AirBnb listing. We’d come stay here again the next time we’re in the area.

  Comments: On previous trips to Maui I've always stayed at a hotel. This time I wanted more privacy and full amenities of my own place so I could keep groceries on hand and have more space to relax. Todd's condo is perfect for this. From the start, his communication was fast and friendly. Everything was presented up front so there were no surprise charges or misrepresented amenities. The view of the water is outstanding, and the location is perfect for walking to restaurants, the water, gift shops, coffee shops, and a grocery store. Parking behind the building is very easy. The building is very quiet overall. The first morning was kind of noisy thanks to some roosters who were excited to let the neighborhood know it was morning. To remedy this we closed the windows and turned on AC in the living room to keep the place from getting to warm overnight (we stayed during a very warm week in early Sept so this was nice for a couple of reasons), and there were no other noise issues for the remainder of our stay. Overall this was a great place to stay and I'll stay here again in the future if it's available.

His condo is a thoughtfully decorated and meticulously maintained home with plenty of supplies for every impromptu tropical activity: snorkeling gear, beach chairs, etc. For those who enjoy surfing or SUPing, the location cannot be beat. We would highly recommend Makena Beach (make your way to little beach across the rocks for a little something extra). The condo was stylish, cozy, and clean. We had everything we needed.   Comments: If you like your interiors to be a beautiful as the view, then look no further. We loved our stay here. While it's interior design is spectacular, it is also comfortable, which is a hard combination to find. The view and the lanai cannot be beaten, it's the best place for your early morning coffee and late night glass of wine. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook, great prep space, deep farm style sink, and full of little amenities that Todd graciously has provided. Washer, Dryer, and Dishwasher work great and we were thankful to wash our clothes since it meant we could pack less. Besides being gorgeous, the shower in the bathroom is awesome. We loved the peppermint body wash which felt amazing after a day in the sun. So cooling! Plenty of storage in the bedroom with hangers provided. The bed is very comfortable and I have spinal cord damage so when I say it's (Website hidden by Airbnb) is comfy. The couch is also comfortable, good for a nap after a long day at the beach and my husband loved the armchair. Joy's Place downstairs became our favorite go-to spot for breakfast or lunch. You can also walk to the local grocery store, it's that close. This is the perfect location for a home base, right in the middle of it all. Easy drive to the other popular locations on the island like Paia, Wailea, and Lahaina. Stop debating and book this place!

  Comments: All the other reviews have captured our thoughts about Todd's place. It is as described...very clean, updated, very well supplied, close to grocery, restaurants, beach, etc. I appreciate the photos Todd has posted...the shot taken from the balcony (the space is on the 5th floor) is exactly what you see! I have observed that many hosts claim an ocean view from the balcony, then post a photo that is zoomed in on a patch of water, giving the impression it's a clear view, when in reality there are trees, utility poles, buildings, etc that take up the bulk of the view. Not so with Todd's place! I also appreciated the copy of "Maui Revealed" in the room! There are also a number of condiments and spices in the kitchen, which was great. We would stay here again!

While the exterior of the building is non-descript, the interior of Todd’s apartment is a cozy retreat. Kihei cafe, Joy’s, Paia Fish Market were delicious and walking distance.

  Comments: We loved staying at Todd’s place! Very conveniently located and the balcony views were amazing. It felt so homey there, and was easy to just enjoy the space after a long day on the beach. There were also a bunch of cats that live in the parking lot, so that was a huge bonus for us cat lovers. It was super clean, I especially liked the huge shower as I’m 6’2 and usually showers are too small for me. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Maui, I’d 100% recommend Todd’s. We will be coming back next year! Thanks again!
