  Comments: I was very proud and happy to be Ramazan's first guest! I rented his room for Labor Day weekend while attending a music festival at Randall's Island Park. My review will be as detailed as possible. I gave him a perfect review based on whether what I expected was provided. As a man that doesn't need to much and is happy with what I am given, Ramazan's apartment did just that. The shower worked just fine (he even provided me some travel shampoo/conditioner/lotion), and he lent me a shower towel (which was incredibly soft, just how I like) for the weekend. I don't need anything too fancy/complex when I sleep, so the bed in the apartment was satisfactory. It was, of course, furnished with sheets and a thicker blanket, as well as a pillow. It was a bit on the hot side in terms of the weather, but luckily there was a fan in the room that worked wonders, so that made my sleep much easier. Basically, the room is just as pictured, and was just what I needed. If you're a picky resident, you might find an issue or two, but as I said, I'm a man of simple taste, so this was just perfect for me. The apartment looked pretty nice as well! I didn't use much of the general lounge space, but it looked very well set-up, and Ramazan was always happy to offer me usage of his TV if I so wanted (which I didn't, as I was pretty busy with my trip). I came to the city this weekend specifically for the music festival, so each night I had to come back home late. There was no issue with that, he was okay with my late returns, access to the apartment was easy, and I could take my exhausted self right to bed after a late night without any issue. Ramazan himself was an incredibly kind and thoughtful person. When he was around while I was about to go off on my adventures, he was always happy to answer any questions I had about the area. He always made sure I was enjoying my stay, and was happy to talk to me about my experiences in the city. Checking in and out was also an incredibly simple process, which helped me in my ever-changing travel schedule. I will be sure to try and book his apartment again the next time I come to the city. TL;DR: Very nice, cozy, simple apartment with a very kind owner and fully functioning bedroom/bathroom. Perfect for a quick stay and for someone who's got a busy travel schedule.

  Comments: I had a nice stay ! Ramazan always made sure I was enjoying my stay and cooked a delicious meal too. The room was clean and comfortable. The apartment is at 15 minutes walking from the subway and there is also a laundromat nearby.

  Comments: Everything was as described. Great location and quiet neighborhood. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area. The apartment is at walking distance from the train so it was easy to get around. Ramazan and his apartment mate Boris were great hosts and treated me very nicely. I would for sure recommend this place to other people!

  Comments: I travelled to New York for Fashion Week. Ramazan was able to accommodate me on such a short notice, I had a very busy schedule so I didn't see him as much, Ramazan is super friendly and super nice and will tell you everything about NYC. As a frequent New York traveler I've always stayed in Manhattan and it was my first time staying in Astoria and I absolutely loved the neighborhood, it's not that far from the station and close to shops and restaurants. Astoria is a booming neighborhood with my trip working 12/13 hour days at fashion week his place is a perfect place to come home to because of how quiet it is...I highly recommend staying with him. Queens is a nice borough there's more to New York than Manhattan.. Him and his roommate were both super friendly, I checked in and he welcomed me with cookies and coffee. Ramazan is not only a good host but he is a very friendly person!

  Comments: The place is perfect for a single person, had no problems. The hosts are always willing to provide you with coffee and breakfast and stuff, although I never had the time to take it due to my schedule. The experience at the house was good, would definitely recommend it to others.

  Comments: Was absolutely not expecting such an incredible stay, came in thinking I'll just have a place to sleep, but ended up spoiled in hospitality, Ramazan is an amazing person, very kind, knowledgeable, and just overall a wonderful host, his roommate Boris is also super nice and friendly, it's just such an awesome atmosphere, you can't go wrong with Ramazan. Ps: their massage chair might as well be sent from heaven.

Only a short walk from the restaurants and bars Ditmars Avenue has to offer but also quiet enough to get a good nights sleep at the end of the day.

  Comments: Ramazan is very friendly and great with communicating! He checked on me several times throughout the visit and made sure things were going well. Check-in went smoothly and his place was very warm and inviting. Navigating public transportation to Manhattan and back takes a little time, but his place is in a great, safe location and very close to the airport. It was a pleasure to stay with Ramazan and thank you for hosting me!
