  Comments: The perfect location in Williamsburg, close to everything you need and steps from metro. Ivan is friendly and communication was easy. The air conditioning was much appreciated during the July visit. There is construction nearby but I didn't hear any of it, just made the building slightly hidden from one of the angles outside.

The room was clean and comfortable the window air conditioner unit was a great amenity for a stay during the summer. I did not have use of the living room because it was being remodeled but it seemed like it will look great when it is finished. Look forward to seeing updated photos.

The flat is quite small but cosy (they were giving a little lifting to the living room), plus there's a cooler and a fan in the room, which is really useful in NYC in the middle of the summer! And you're just one block away from 3 subway lines that take you in the heart of Manhattan (or you can walk 5-10 minutes to enjoy Williamsburg's atmosphere). More than a pleasant experience, I would recommend this Airbnb to everyone looking for a stay in Brooklyn :)

  Comments: This was my first time to use Airbnb. I was a little worried before traveling, but it turned out to be perfect!!! It was a very great room, clean, beautiful with good neighbors. It felt like a home. Ivan was super nice and handsome! He even bought a new heater for us, because the old one is a little noisy. I will highly recommend this place if you want to go to NY. He's a wonderful host and a very nice person. The room was smaller than I expected (I couldn't determine it from the pictures) but this is not a problem if you're going alone. I went with my partner which made it a bit uncomfortable. I had a good time overall.

  Comments: The convenient thing about this place is just the location. The apartment is in a basement, dark, with no windows at the entrance, kitchen and bathroom. Needs some fresh air. The bathroom is a bit running out and not clean enough. The room was tiny, dark, and with no closet. I had aunts in my room for 3 days. I've also founded objects under the bed and under the shelf from previous guests. Other (Hidden by Airbnb) were also eating my food from the fridge. All the reviews are great, so i don't know if i was unlucky, but i must say that Ivan is a good guy and communication was great. Even if the price was affordable, surely this flat needs to be well organized to be better.

  Comments: This would be a good deal if it was twice as cheap and had an easy cancellation policy. This is not a private room by any means, this is a shared student apartment with very thin walls and a lot of traffic and a bathroom used by at least 3 other men and every woman that visits them. The location is great but it doesn't justify the price point, amenities or conditions. The space heater was like a jet engine, but I guess it's necessary to filter out roommates chatting in the lobby at 2 AM or the terribly annoying bass echoes from the hipster dance club next door. I didn't even sleep for 15 minutes that night. For travelers looking for a quiet place to sleep it's a 2/5 - if you're going to get wasted and try to get tail, this is the perfect 3.7/5 if you don't tell them it's an airbnb. Please lower the price, I've had way better experiences in better locations and conditions for a much lower price.

  Comments: This is a great value. It's not particularly fancy but the space offered what I was seeking this past weekend as a solo traveler in NYC: a clean space in a convenient location. While it took a little while to get in touch with Ivan at first, once I got in touch with him, his directions about how to access the building, etc. were very clear. There were other guests staying here in another room but our paths never crossed and I didn't have a chance to meet Ivan in person. It was a very quiet environment which worked perfectly for me (I was essentially just looking for a place to sleep, get ready in the morning, etc.). It's an easy walk to the Marcy Ave subway station and feels like a safe neighborhood of Williamsburg. It's a cheap Uber ride from Manhattan, which is where I spent most of my time during the stay. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

  Comments: I stayed at Ivan’s place for three days and two nights and I would not recommend this place for longer than that time frame. It was easy to check in and Ivan was responsive. However, I was not aware that there were two other Airbnb guests and no option to lock my door. Thus, I just carried my important belongings throughout my trip. It felt like a security hazard. I didn’t mind this other issue, but others might. My first morning here, I noticed at least 10-15 ants all along the baseboard and walls of the room. When I texted Ivan about the ants, he said that he would take care of it right away. The next morning when I was scheduled to leave, I noticed more ants along the baseboards of the room. Again, I did not mind this. It is New York and pests are everywhere. However, if you’re deeply concerned about ants or other critters, I would probably avoid this place.

It is super quiet and cozy. The apartment is just one stop away from Manhattan, you can also walk over the bridge to get to the island. Ivan was very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend Ivan’s place to everyone!

  Comments: Super friendly host who had no problem waiting up late to check me in, which I really appreciated! He really made me feel at home. The room was very clean and cozy, and the bed was super comfortable. Location was in prime south Williamsburg, with easy access to Manhattan and the rest of Williamsburg/Bushwick. Would definitely recommend a stay with Ivan!
