Comments: A place to relax away from the hustle and traffic of Waikkiki after a busy day of sight seeing. Comfortable accommodations and beautiful, world class beach, 2 minutes walk away. Fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms make family life much easier.

Comments: My family of 5 (8yo, 6yo, and 7month old) love Wanda's place. It's only 30 seconds walk to one of the best beaches in Oahu. Their pool is a great addition to have as our kids enjoyed it as much as the beach. There were a couple of days of non stop raining during our stay and umbrellas were provided to save us $$$. They were also extremely accommodating. They have set up a crib for us so when we arrived at 2am, we can take our baby straight to bed without much interruption. We even have some breakfast items readily available to make that morning because we arrived in odd hours of the morning to buy anything. Just be sure to put all food in the fridge as there are ants who'll fight for your food :-) They gave excellent recommendations on a popular shaved ice joint around the corner that Obama visited often as well as a hidden poke gem in a liquor store next to Safeway (also serves best Kalua Pig in town only on Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays, so much better than Kono's) that only locals know. The place is also close to Beto's Taco truck which serves delicious Mexican shrimp and fish tacos (I'm from LA and I know what's good) late night for a decent price. They have loads of extras,too (bug spray, sun block, shampoo/conditioner, sand toys/chairs/beach umbrellas, beach towels, laundry detergent). Overall, we had an excellent experience at Wanda's place and can't wait to go back there next time we're in Oahu.

Comments: Wanda's cottage was absolutely perfect. From location to hospitality we couldn't have asked for anything better. Being a block Kalapawai Market is perfect and you're just far enough from the public part of Kailua beach that you can avoid the crowds down on the sand. Perfect for morning walks with your coffee. Best thing about the cottage is the ocean breeze!
