Neighborhood Overview: Botafogo is strategically situated near all of Rio de Janeiros best neighborhoods and attractions. The neighborhood is at the foot of Christ Redeemer, 5 minutes from Copacabana, 5 minutes from Sugar Loaf, and a quick (15 min) Metro ride from Ipanema or the center of the city.

Transit: There are bus routes to all neighborhoods on the street next to the apartment. The metro is a quick walk and there are public bikes for rent right around the corner.
