  Comments: both the location and hosts were wonderful. the rooftop balcony has an amazing view of the ocean which was nice to sun in and enjoy breakfast which sonia prepared. the apartment was comfortable and clean. they were extremely helpful and accommodating and i'd highly recommend staying in this part of the city!

  Comments: The downstairs studio apartment was perfect for 1 person, with its own patio space outside. And easy walk down to the beach at Foz, a small nearby store with everything you need, and bigger stores a 5-10 minute walk away.

  Comments: The people living at casa alegre are wonderful and very nice. I stayed in the downstairs flat with Kitchen and and small bathroom. The flat is mostly clean and it is so pretty! The bus stop ist just around the corner and the ocean is only a few minutes walk away. It was nice staying there! The flat in the downstairs area has no door just some kind of paravent.

  Comments: Hi, I'm Patrick, from Dublin, Ireland. I have just returned from 4 days in this beautiful home. It was my first Airbnb, and the experience exceeded my expectations. I refer to the high standard of accommodation in this handsome house on a narrow cobbled street. I also refer to the warmth and hospitality of my hosts. I was included in the household and also felt I was given my own private space too; best of both worlds. I would recommend this home place to others.   Comments: Je voulais remercier Sonia, pour la chambre mais aussi, Anabela et Caesar pour nous avoir accueilli. Notre hôtesse Anabela, nous donne envie de découvrir sa ville et son histoire. La chambre est tout à fait correct et possède suffisamment de place pour 2 personnes, avec un patio très agréable. Située du coté des plages mais accès très rapide pour le centre-ville. Porto est une ville à découvrir. Nous remercions encore Sonia et Anabela et peut-être à une prochaine fois :).

  Comments: Amazing week in Porto ! This appartment is just what every travellers is looking for : cosy, walking distance from the sea, buses facilities, nice area ... perfect ! Thank you to Sonia for all the help we received before we come. You've been really reactive to my questions and your tourist advices were most appreciated :) Too bad we didn't get to see you. Next time for sure ;) And Anabela, dear Anabela ! This week just felt like home ! You were so kind and we've spent very nice moments with you. Sorry we forgot the keys, they're on the way and you should have them by monday (I hope so!) Our favourites places: - Casa aberta : best croissants ever, and nice "shop" (try the Gingerbread tea!) - Casa Mariquinhas: the best place if you want to hear Fado (booking is necessary) - The Peter's, on the port, they do great mojitos - The Tram (restaurant) where we tried our first Francesinha - The Library Lello & Irmao, every fan of Harry Potter has to go Inside And I could go on like that a long time ^^ Thanks for everything We will be back ;-) Julie & Sébastien

  Comments: Everything was perfect for me: the situation close to place i had to be, this quarter in Porto is so cute, calm, the hosts were so nice (I met Annabella), the room, the patio, the decoration are really beautifull. I have a negative point, is that there's no door at the room, it's disagreeable when you go o sleep before them, or if you're need somme intimity if you're in couple. Eventhough, I recommand this place!! : )

  Comments: De verhuurder zelf was op studiereis maar haar plaatsvervangster, Anabela, was een hartelijke en gastvrije dame, die het ons graag naar de zin maakte. Wij werden getrakteerd op lekkernijen als wijn en fruit en kregen goede informatie over de omgeving. Wij mochten zelfs gebruik maken van haar inpandige garage en zij stond fietsen en een windscherm voor het strand ter beschikking. Het appartement ligt in een oud Portugese wijk met smalle authentieke straatjes en is handig gelegen dichtbij het goedkope openbaar vervoer naar het centrum van Porto (ca. 30 minuten) Het strand en de prachtige boulevard is op loopafstand. Het appartement is niet hypermodern, maar voldeed aan onze eisen. Er was een leuke patio met druivenranken, een kitchenette, een douche en een prima bed. De wifi-verbinding was uitstekend. Kortom een aanrader voor mensen die een strandvakantie en een bezoek aan de stad Porto willen combineren!

  Comments: We had a nice stay. The hosts are very nice and quick to respond. The place is as described, a downstairs studio with a usable kitchen and bathroom as well as a terrace. We found some thoughtful touches like chocolate and wine made us feel welcomed. Only thing is the noisy plumbing sometimes.

  Comments: Sonia wasn’t there but the woman upstairs, anabela, was really sweet. A bottle of red wine and cherry sweets were there for us on the table as we arrived. The garden doesn’t have any sun this time of year but it was still nice to able to go outside and sit at the garden table. Porto was amazing! We would love to go back. And for me foz was the best place to be because the city centre can be quite busy. And so easy to reach. Thanks sonia and anabela!

  Comments: Un studio clair, assez spacieux, agréablement décoré et meublé, donnant sur un petit patio lumineux. Le quartier est calme et pittoresque, l'accueil plus que sympathique. Je recommande à 100% !

I am an experienced traveler and I can say with confidence that this place is truly exceptional, with an amazing outdoor space, and wonderful artistic touches throughout. It was a pleasure to stay there, and the hosts were generous and very helpful during my visit to Foz. Wonderful!

  Comments: Logement très calme et agréable dans un ancien quartier de pêcheurs très bien localisé : à deux pas du front de mer et à 30 minutes en bus du centre ville. Une vraie respiration. L'espace du studio est bien aménagé. Seul souci, il est en contre-bas de l'immeuble, donc en cas de météo pluvieuse : forte odeur d'humidité. L'accueil d'Anabela était très appréciable. Merci beaucoup pour ce petit tour de repérage en voiture qui nous a permis d'avoir une vision globale du quartier et les infos pratiques en quelques minutes. Très bonne communication avec Sonia par messagerie.
