  Comments: It was a very nice apartment, comfortable beds, provided items for kitchen (pans, plates, etc), and bathroom (few rolls of tp and towels). Had a balcony with great view. The apartment was VERY HOT, making it uncomfortable. Better or more fans would be a great improvement. There was an ac however it did not do a whole lot.

  Comments: The host was great! He was very responsive and communications were very clear for check-in. The apartment was clean and was of a size perfect for our group. Great views of lower Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty from the porch. Neighborhood is not the greatest - we were only there for an overnight, so it wasn't an issue. My only suggestion: we stayed during a couple of the hottest days of the year and the ceiling fans and two portable air conditioners weren't enough to cut the heat.

  Comments: The flat is at the top of a big house with 3 bedrooms and a living room which can easily be used as an extra bedroom. The best is the huge terrace covered with a wonderful view on manhattan. There are transportations all the night in area leading to southern manhattan in one hour door to door.

There was a window air conditioner and a stand up air conditioner that cooled the house at night in the rooms they were located. There were no bowls for cereal and minimum dishes. The stay was pleasant given we weren't there most of the time. The view was BEAUTIFUL!

  Comments: This is a great place! Getting in touch with Sergey about checking in was very easy and in general, he always responded back really quickly. We were on the top floor so we had access to the roof top area, which gave us a great view of Staten Island as well as Manhattan. Parking was easy and in terms of location, it was only a short distance to the ferry. The only thing to note is that it could be a little hot in the apartment -- I think the fans and AC units (located in each of the individual rooms) helped but it was still quite hot during the day. It wasn't that big of an issue later in the night so if you're spending most of your day out, it might not be a big deal.

  Comments: Our stay included sharing the place between two couples. Everyone loved it. We would definitely stay here again as the value was great. The view was great. Check in was easy and only spoke with the host once. As mentioned in other reviews, the place does tend to get hot. For us, it wasn't too bad since the weather was cooler. Parking wasn't too bad, but don't be surprised if you need to park at the end of the street. The neighborhood seemed safe, so it wasn't an issue. Sergey did say we could park in the driveway, but I did not want to block other occupants of the house (This listing is for the top unit). The apartment did have 4 beds although only one of the rooms wouldn't be considered private. You had to access one of the bedrooms through a den type room (listed as a bedroom). Not a problem for us, but keep it in mind if you are expecting 4 private bedrooms. The living room is also listed as a bedroom, however it does have a door to make it private. To get to the balcony, you will need to go through the living room. The amenities were good. The free wifi was great and I was able to get 100Mbps down and 100Mbps up on a speed test. Unfortunately, the wifi signal did not reach to the kitchen (this could be a device issue). 4 towels were provided (we had 4 guests) along with 2 rolls of toilet paper. The dishes were minimal, but were adequate. We had 3 bowls and about the same amount of plates. Silverware wasn't an issue. There are no hangers listed in the amenities, but plastic store type hangers are provided and were appreciated. We did not use the tv as we mainly used the place as a sleeping place and then took the ferry to the city. We drove our car to the garage located on Central Avenue (next to the Staten Island Criminal Court) and walked to the ferry terminal . Cost was $8/day but it does close at midnight. Ferry did take about a 30 minute ride to the city, but was a fun way to get there. The neighborhood isn't that fancy or new, but we did feel comfortable and safe. Look beyond the buildings and you will see that this is a middle income neighborhood. Expect real New York and not the 1% neighborhoods. (I only mention this because 1 other review mentioned the neighborhood not being the greatest).

  Comments: Le logement est très bien situé. On peut voir la Statue de la Liberté du balcon et de la cuisine. On se gare facilement. Le logement est bien situé pour aller à Manhattan. Le Staten Island Ferry permet d'arriver à la pointe sud de Manhattan et il est gratuit. Le logement est propre et les lits sont confortables. Il manque cependant de la vaisselle (seulement 3 grandes assiettes) et des chaises (seulement 5 chaises) pour que le logement convienne parfaitement à plus de 4 personnes.

  Comments: Its a nice property with a good view to the City of New York in day or night. Neighborhood area is quiet and close to local shops but it would be good if there is a printed guideline for the guest to inform surounding area within walking distance.

  Comments: The apartment was very nice. Clean, plenty of room. The view from the patio was great. Had everything we needed. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again. Easy access to parking. Drove our car and parked at the lot next to the Ferry terminal, $8 a day, free on Sunday! Enjoyed taking the ferry back and forth, gave us time to relax.

  Comments: We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment has a ton of room and is very clean and neat. We drove to the ferry parking daily and it was a short drive. We were cold the first night because the heat cuts off at 9 pm (we're from South Georgia) and the downstairs unit had control of valve and Sergey was very helpful and brought us heaters. He was a great host! We never met him and he let us do our thing and was very responsive to texts! Thank you for a great stay!

  Comments: There is plenty of room for a large family. We have 4 adult children and they each had their own place to sleep. The place is clean and the building is an adorable historic brownstone. We wish it was closer to the ferry but it was no problem getting an Uber or taxi to get us there and back every day. Everything related to reserving the place and checking in and out was as smooth as it could be. I'd stay there again for sure!

The view from the balcony was great. If there was anything negative, I would say it was the walk up to floor 3, but we knew that before we booked. It was just that after a full day of sightseeing in the city, it was somewhat challenging to make it up the steps. There was a helpful book in the rental that mapped out neighborhood conveniences. Overall a wonderful experience.

  Comments: An excellent house with an historic story. Great facilities and a view of Manhattan that is simply wonderful. The apartment does require entry via numerous stairs, so keep that in mind when booking. It provides excellent access to the ferry (a short 5 min drive) for those long days exploring NYC. Great value and off street parking is a bonus! We felt like we were in our own little piece of paradise having 'sundowners' overlooking Manhattan. We will definitely stay again.

  Comments: Het huis bestaat uit een ruime bovenverdieping en is geschikt voor 6 personen (3x2 bedden). Huis is compleet en de eigenaar reageert heel snel op berichtjes en is erg behulpzaam wat het verblijf goed maakt. De buurt is verzorgd maar ook wat armoedig. Supermarkt in de buurt maar reken op meer dan 20 minuten lopen of met de bus. Appartement is goed bereikbaar met openbaar vervoer maar bijelkaar neemt het best wel veel tijd met de ferry en metro om downtown te komen. In alle kamers is airconditioning wat heel prettig is bij hete dagen. Het is een prettig verblijf maar de afstand is ons tegen gevallen.

  Comments: Met 5 man prima plek, maar in de keuken stonden maar 4 stoelen. Uitzicht op New York is prachtig. Alleen contact met verhuurder via telefoon of app, niet persoonlijk gesproken, maar reageert snel. Verwacht geen gevulde kastjes met kruiden, het minimum is aanwezig. Alle kamers hebben airco, wat erg fijn is met 30 graden. Afstand naar Manhattan is goed te doen (bus & veerboot) in ongeveer 45 minuten.

  Comments: Die Wohnung ist sehr gross und ruhig gelegen mit den 3 Schlafzimmern, genau wie beschrieben. Die Strasse scheint sicher und die Häuser in der Strasse sind recht heimelig. Der Check- in verlief problemlos. Der Schlüssel zur Wohnung ist in einem Kästchen, das man mit der PIN öffnen kann. Sehr schönes Ambiente im Haus. Die Krönung ist die riesige Terrasse mit Blick auf Manhattan, ein super Highlight , auch bei Hitze schön luftig. Die Überfährt mit der kostenlosen Fähre ist ein Erlebnis und spart eine Cruise zur Freiheitsstatue, allerdings dauert es von der Wohnung bis Manhattan doch ca. 1 Std , wobei eine halbe Std für die Überfahrt gebraucht wird . Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel (Bus) fährt in der Nähe ab. Herrliche Erholung nach einem anstrengenden Tag in Manhattan. Wenn man die Anreise in Kauf nehmen möchte ein super Tip!

  Comments: 房子所在社区不错,安静,小路上有免费车位,如果有车的话自驾去码头边法院停车场(需7､8分钟,8美金/天,工作日至晚10点,休息日没去不知道),再坐免费24小时渡轮过海到纽约应该是个不错的选择(停车场到候船大厅步行,7､8分钟)｡房间在房子顶层一整层,三间卧室,各有一张双人床,睡六人没问题,还有一单独客厅有两大沙发和电视,主卧室可通室外阳台,阳台很大,有凳子,看曼哈顿港很清晰,厨房､浴室基本设施齐全,厨房有餐桌可用｡阳台看出去周围小山绿树,环境很好｡总之,是一处值得推荐的住宿｡另外提两个小建议,如有就更好了,一个是洗衣机,一个是阳台简易桌子｡

  Comments: Die Unterkunft ist ihn Einer recht sicheren Nachbarschaft. Auch wenn wir 1-2 ungute Erfahrungen gemacht haben mit grossem polizeieinsatz. Das WLAN reicht leider nicht bis auf die schöne Terrasse von wo man einen super Ausblick hat. Das couchsofa hat leider seine besten Tage hinter sich. Im grossen und ganzen eine super Unterkunft und der Kontakt mit den Vermietern ist wirklich super. Sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir würden wieder kommen.

  Comments: 挺安静的,地理位置也还不错｡一共三层的别墅,只能住在第三层,很陡,如果提大箱子上楼很麻烦的!还有洗澡的毛巾是完全不能用的,用完之后需要重新洗了个澡,被子跟枕头感觉都不是很干净,而且没有洗衣机!希望房东能够改进,毛巾什么都洗干净,全部生霉了!

When my sister took a shower, she discovered that there was a ton of shaved off body hair that was inside of the towel. There was a giant pile.. that was disgusting.

  Comments: Location is convenient to the Staten Island Ferry. However if you are coming in late to the apartment, you will find yourself without a parking spot due to mainly it being street parking. Tenant staying in lower level blocks the driveway, only allowing them to park. E-mailed the host and she was very response and said she spoke with tenant. Tenant said they would respect our request. The request was for them to pull all the way into the driveway because the driveway was wide enough to fit two cars if the had pull all the way in towards the garage. We requested this on day two. Tenant continued to block driveway until the last day we were there. We stayed Mon-Fri. We decided not to complain to host. I know she probably did the best she could with the other tenant. Other than that we loved that it was a short distance to Staten Island ferry. Having to find street parking after coming in late each night was our only issue.

  Comments: Die geräumige Unterkunft liegt in einem weniger vornehmen Teil von Staten Island, dafür ist man mit dem Auto in 5 Minuten an der Fähre. Wenn man sich an den Fahrplan hält und somit nicht warten muss, ist man in 40 min in Manhattan. 8 Personen finden locker Platz. Ein gemeinsames Essen ist nur bedingt möglich, da in der Küche nur 4 Stühle vorhanden sind. Geschirr und Besteck reichen gerade so. Abgewaschen wird von Hand, was grundsätzlich kein Problem ist hier aber etwas schwierig zu bewältigen, weil der Kühlschrank halb vorm Spülbecken steht. Die Internetverbindung ist in der Küche und Terrasse schwach ansonsten super. Die Terrasse und der Blick sind herrlich. Super war auch die Kommunikation. Wir hatten Schwierigkeiten mit dem Herd, da hat Sergey uns sofort jemanden vorbei geschickt. Alles in allem: Wer keinen großartigen Luxus sucht, mit mehreren Personen oder als Familie mit Kindern reist und große Ausgaben scheut ist hier gut untergebracht.

  Comments: Le plus de cet appartement est sa terrasse (une vraie piece de vie si le temps le permet) avec sa vue sur Manatthan ! On ne s'en lasse pas ! La proximité des commerces et des transports est également un plus. Ce qui est à améliorer reste l'équipement de la cuisine qui n'est pas adapté pour 8 personnes ( pas assez de couverts , d'ustensiles...). À noter par ailleurs qu'il n'y a pas réellement 4 chambres mais 3 chambres et un lit double dans un salon sans porte.

  Comments: The view is great !!!!! the host was very quickly to answer me! The house was okay to me and my family a total of 7 . We also found parking easy at the street and is close to the ferry but not to go walking with kids which was my case I couldn’t do it ! But certainly could be done for people without health injuries or with kids! But in the end it was great to stay there !

  Comments: This is a great and convenient place to stay. It is a very historic home and convenient for our travels. It was also very nice that we could park in the driveway. When we were there, there was not a lot of traffic so we could park on the street also. During a busy time, the drive way would be a great convenience. Our arrival was also very easy. Due to flight cancellations, we did not arrive until 3 am, so it was nice we could enter without bothering anyone.
