  Comments: Barbara was a most gracious and generous host. She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and (in effect) have a home away from home. Her apartment is nothing short of amazing. It is a great size for Hong Kong, incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean and elegantly furnished. The apartment is an an oasis from the hustle & bustle of Hong Kong. It is perfectly situated on Hollywood Road, in the thick of a great selection of restaurants & bars and parks and is walking distance to Central & SOHO. The apartment is open and airy, filled with natural light and is perfect for the business person that needs space to work out of or just to have a breather from the Hong Kong pace (a real luxury for Hong Kong). The rooftop garden is a real bonus. What a wonderful and unique experience. I highly recommend this to any business person and discerning traveller. I hope to return there soon. Thanks Barbara! :-)

  Comments: Barbara's place is fantastic and she is a wonderful host! We stayed for 10 days and felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. Really enjoyed the neighborhood - it was fairly quiet at night, but just a few blocks to walk to the shops and restaurants along Hollywood Road (the art/artisan shops at PMQ were our favorite). The kitchen is well equipped and there are two grocery markets within a few minutes walk (one Chinese-style and one English-style), so it was easy to make breakfast each morning, open up the balcony doors, and listen to the birds chirping in the park across the street. Barbara was very helpful with suggestions on dinner places - she gave us 6 suggestions within a 5 minute walk; we made it to 5 and had a great meal each time. The Sheung Wan area is very convenient to Central and it's easy to pick up taxis, trams, and the MTR within a few blocks of the apartment to get anywhere in the city. We'd definitely book Barbara's place again if we return to Hong Kong.

  Comments: A very beautifully furnished space in a very trendy area roughly equidistant from Sai Ying Pun and Sheung Wan MTRs. Lots of cool cafes, restaurants and bars surround the flat. Check-in was easy and communication with Barbara was fast and effective. The doorman (particularly a charming gentleman by the name of Albert) gave tips to travelling around the area and it was always a nice feeling to see a familiar face when returning to the apartment. Will definitely stay in this space again if I get the chance!

  Comments: AMAZING - the Penthouse in real life is 10x better then the images, PLUS the rooftop is so amazing and has such an amazing view it's all to your self with enough furniture to have 8 friends up there ( though I was by myself ) The community is amazing there's a MUST go to coffee shop right next door ( I forget the name ) Wifi is great Bed was super comfy Barbara is super helpful and I couldn't recommend the place enough, was worth every penny!

  Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at Barbara's house. It was very clean and Barbara has a great taste of designing the house. The kitchen, bathroom, dining area, all of those are very well decorated. The location is very convenient, and it was a great experience exploring this side of the Hong Kong island. There was a great combination of modern and histories.

And the place really bring us a cozy home feeling when our staying, and the environment is quiet and peace, and also nearby the convenience store. The location is convenience too, if you’re familiar with the tramway, it’s so much easy to roam around the central.

  Comments: An absolutely wonderful place to stay while exploring Hong Kong. Beautiful apartment, clean, wonderful views and open spaces...a rarity in HK. Kitchen was well appointed, bed was comfortable, shower spacious and washing machine/dryer a nice plus for longer stay. Doormen are sweet and always there to help. The location is great with a 5 minute walk to the two closest metro stops (we used Sai Ying Pun A1 mostly) and a few grocery stores. This area provides a lot of atmosphere with many small Chinese stores and a couple temples nearby. Cute cafe for morning coffee on ground level of building. Hollywood Park across the street. Antique stores just down the street and nightlife of LKF and SoHo are within walking distance but far enough away to not disturb your sleep. Barbara was very responsive and easy to communicate with. She made suggestions on a few restaurants too. A perfect place to call home during our stay. We will be back on our next visit to HK!

  Comments: Barbara went out of her way to make our trip special. Because we arrived late on a Sunday, she took the extra step of asking what did she could have waiting, and she also made excellent recommendations regarding local restaurants and bars. The space was lovely and the neighborhood is a perfect mix of old and new. I loved the balcony and roof, and enjoyed waking up to the activity across the street at the park each morning. There is also an interesting small temple perhaps a block or so away. The walk to the MTR is perhaps 10 minutes, and there is plenty of access to shops and food. I highly recommend this space for anyone visiting Hong Kong!

  Comments: I’m always too lazy to write reviews but this trip has really changed my view towards HK (housing and residents etc)! I was on a hectic blitz like business trip and booked this apt very late at night after exhausting myself at work. Despite such a crazily short notice Barbara immediately arranged a key for me to get in without any complaints. The 24hr doorman is always so nice. I didn’t have a chance to wander around but as far as I know restaurants, convenient stores or even hospital are all downstairs and IFC (the usual working place) is just 5-10min taxi away. I’ve had some terrible experience staying at Airbnb HK previously and switched back to the boring 5 star hotel mode since then. But I would now defo place Barbara’s apt as my top choice whenever I travel to HK. I would sincerely recommend it to anyone who wants to have a down-to-earth experience in HK esp those on business trips. Last word, the pano view is amazingly refreshing - you’ll know what I’m talking about if you are familiar with the HK housing conditions ;p

  Comments: Barbara's apartment is in the perfect postion on HK Island , close to an MTR, not far from the ferries ( an easy walking distance) lots of good cafes and restaurants in the area and grocery shops if you want to self cater. Being on Hollywood Road it is also close to lots of popular tourist (Website hidden by Airbnb) is a very stylish, beautiful apartment but also very practical and extremely comfortable. It had everything you could possibly need during your stay and was spotlessly clean. The roof terrace and balcony are a real bonus too. It overlooks a beautiful little park and the area is very quiet at night. Barbara was a very helpful host, easy to contact and quick to respond to any queries. The concierges were also very curteous, friendly and helpful ( especially Albert!) I really hpe we can use Barbara's aprtment on our next visit to HK!!

  Comments: Amazing place. It’s more beautiful than pictures. The big balcony has a great view of Hon Kong buildings . The apartment is good designed. A lot of Chinese paintings and photos. Bathroom is made from marble, elegant. The kitchen has everything you need. The bed is very soft. And most thankfully, there is 24h guard, help us a lot. 房间会比照片美很多,充满了设计感,还有一个超级大的阳台,风景很好,楼下就是荷里活公园,周围到处都是咖啡馆､小吃店､商店,去半山扶梯､九记牛腩走路大约10多分钟,楼下的保安叔叔超级和蔼,感恩!

  Comments: We loved staying in Barbara’s penthouse. It is stylishly furnishes with a beautiful outlook over the park - in a brilliant location. Located in an eclectic neighbourhood, the penthouse is within walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, bars, public transport and lots of attractions on Hong Kong island. The apartment is clean, spacious and the roof top is an amazing space to watch the lights of Hong Kong - whilst enjoying a wine. We worked during the day from the apartment - and it was extremely spacious - so much so both of us did not feel like we were on top of one another. Barbara is an exceptional host - quick to respond, providing lots of recommendations for local places to eat and visit. Her doorman was also very polite and helpful. A great place - highly recommended. We hope to stay here in the future.
