    Comments: Jorge went way above what is required of a host. He met us at the airport and transported us to his apartment despite the fact that one of our group arrived on an earlier flight. This was great as we arrived on the eve of the Olympics opening ceremony when traffic was at a peak!! On arrival at the apartment he had filled the fridge with some goodies and put lots of cleaning equipment in the cupboards for our 10 day stay. Again this was not really what we expected but it was lovely to get up on our first morning and have breakfast already in our cupboards without having to seek out the local supermarket. The apartment was brand new and had no furniture in it when we looked on the website but Jorge was true to his word and all the furniture was in place for our arrival. We had wi fi access which we didn't expect! This was a bonus as we were swimming coaches and it allowed us to keep up to date with work while we were away. The apartment had a washing machine which we utilised to keep our supply of towels nice and fresh. We could not fault the available furnishings and could have used much more e.g. barbeque facilities on our balcony, but we were too busy attending all the swimming sessions. The location opposite the Olympic Park was superb for us as we were attending all the swimming sessions. 5 mins walk took us into the Park which was superb!! No busing and train journeys between sessions. A bit more complex when I travelled to the athletics but the transport system linked well. Before going to Rio we were slightly worried about security but in this complex there was a security guard in place at the entrance to the apartment and also barriers at the end of the street. The guard was extremely pleasant on our entry and exits of the complex. Jorge supplied us with information about where to eat in the local area and also took Matt and myself on a day trip to see the sights of Rio before our departure. We both had a fantastic day with breakfast on Copacabana Beach. A trip up Sugarloaf Mountain to experience the most fantastic views over Rio. Lunch in Downtown Rio and then taken home. An unforgettable day which just made the trip along with the silver medal my swimmer won at the Olympics!! Many thanks to Jorge for helping make this trip so wonderful. I would recommend this apartment to anyone. Jorge is a real gentleman!

    Comments: Jorge was very kind to quickly have his apartment cleaned and allowed us to move in with very short notice during the Olympics. He thoroughly explained how everything is the apartment worked. Even stocked the fridge and cabinets with milk, water, and snacks. It's the little things that set people apart. He was so helpful and even volunteered to take us to the airport for free! I would highly recommend this place
