The building is located very near everything, you can walk and see many attractions in Rio from there, theres subway station very near, and its a very safe area. Sergio is an amazing host, very helpful, kind, informative and charming. I definitely have to come back soon!!

  Comments: This is a beautiful old colonial building renovated with great taste and respect for the spirit of the house. Every room is a little bit different, but all have modern bathrooms and are exactly as in the pictures. The rooms on the lower floor have AC, whereas the rooms on the upper floor have fans. Both floors have a small kitchen area. There is a washing machine and you can borrow one of the many tour guides. The street where the house is located is very quiet as it is a gated community and closed from traffic. This is a rare find at such a central location at the heart of Copacabana, only 10 minutes walk from the beach, many restaurants and bars. You can also find supermarkets, the pharmacy and the closest metro station just around the corner. Despite the great amenities, the best of all in this place is not the building, but the host. Sergio is an overly friendly host who is eager to guide you through the city and invite you to a caipirinha at his place. He obviously loves being a host and is looking forward to welcoming you to his city!

  Comments: Apesar de por poucos dias, a estadia foi ótima! O Sérgio foi super atencioso, me explicou perfeitamente a região, pontos turísticos, coisas para se fazer. O quarto condiz com as fotografias e muito confortável! A localização é muito boa, perto de supermercados, das praias, estação de metro... Enfim, tudo perfeito!

  Comments: La habitación es buena para una pareja, tiene aire acondicionado, el baño es amplio y tiene agua caliente, es un punto clave en Copacabana y muy cerca de la playa. Sergio es muy amable y hospitalario. Al llegar se tomó su tiempo para decirnos todo lo que debíamos saber de Río y que sitios deberíamos visitar. Lo recomiendo 100%.

  Comments: El lugar es buenísimo si son viajeros "todoterreno". Las áreas comunes no son tan amplias y cómodas pero el lugar es privilegiado por estar en Copacabana y accesible a todo. Sergio es muy amable y aunque no lo vimos cuando llegamos, siempre respondió oportunamente al (Hidden by Airbnb) . Nos guardó amablemente nuestras cosas cuando fuimos a Buzios y nos dio todas las facilidades.

  Comments: Die Unterkunft ist von der Lage perfekt. Die Straße ist ruhig. In der Nähe ist eine U-Bahn Station, ein Supermarkt und viele Restaurants und Bars. Wir waren in der Blue Suite das Zimmer ist sehr schön, das Bad ist toll. Sergio ist sehr hilfsbereit.

Siempre atento a cualquier necesidad que tuviéramos súper amable y divertido.   Comments: A pesar que no coincidimos por horarios con Sergio fue una estadía increíble, en pleno centro con fácil acceso a muchos lugares para visitar los cuales puedes movilizarte a pie, casa muy cómoda con huéspedes muy respetuosos de la privacidad del otro,casa acogedora, y con todo lo necesario para hacer tu estadía en Río una comodidad absoluta , muy bonita y limpia.

  Comments: Wir waren ein paar Tage hier in Rio und die Unterkunft war spitze! Sergio ist ein sehr netter Mann, der uns sehr weitergeholfen hat! Er hatte super Tipps für uns und hat direkt dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns wohl fühlen! Die Unterkunft selbst ist wie beschrieben und ideal für einen Aufenthalt in Rio (Nähe zum Strand, zur Metro, Supermarkt)! Außerdem war alles sehr sauber und gepflegt.   Comments: Sergio es un genio, espero por nuestra llegada en la puerta del hospedaje contó la historia de la restauración de la casa, las comodidades, dio indicaciones de cómo ir a todas la atracciónes de río, que hacer, donde ir a comer..etc etc etc. Respecto a la casa de hospedajes, la misma está en una zona muy segura rodeada de todos los servicios. Before and after arrival, he gave us all of the locals tips, when and how best to tackle the main tourist attractions, as well as vital information on staying safe and making the most of our trip. He even invited us to his home to learn the art of Caipirinha (brazilian cocktail) and have a drink with his other guests. He is delightfully friendly, charasmatic and enthusiastic about sharing his corner of the world. We had such a great time, Sergio!!! Thank you so much!! Until next time!!!

  Comments: :::.Llegar a la casa de Sergio es llegar a tu propia casa... el recibimiento no puede ser mejor, un cafe y una charla muy agradable donde Sergio nos explicó donde estabamos y cuales son las mejores opciones para nosotros... compartir con los demás huespedes es muy agradable. Sergio es una persona demasiado agradable, esta siempre atento y te ofrece su tiempo para darte los mejores consejos que como turista necesitas para disfrutar de Rio.... La casa esta muy bien hubicada... a unas cuantas cuadras del metro, de la playa y de restaurantes y bares... el lugar es muy seguro y siempre te sentiras tranquilo de caminar.... la habitacion es amplia, limpia y comoda... agua caliente, una cocina practica y café que para mi siempre resulta muy importante en los viajes. Sin duda un lugar que recomendaria a ojos cerrados.... volveremos sin dudarlo.....:::

  Comments: Sergio gave us a great reception! the location is great! a few blocks from Copacabana, Supermarket, NightClubs, Pubs, etc... It's the touristic area, and pretty safe area, you can be walking perfectly at day or night! Uber works great in Rio, so enjoy your stay! Sergio gave us a pretty nice recommendations, you should pay attention, because at least for us they were very helpful!

  Comments: Sergio was an EXCELLENT host! He was very informative, enthusiastic and welcoming. The location was nice- quite peaceful yet very close to everything you need/want (beach, grocery, restaurants, shopping). The villa felt familial because of the close proximity of rooms which was great for meeting others. The room wasn't quite as pristine as it appeared in the pictures posted, but otherwise an accurate post. Also, don't expect to cook much of anything due to the limited amenities in the kitchen. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! Make sure to attend the caipirinhas lesson!

  Comments: Sergio's place is ideal to visit this amazing city! It is located only a few blocks from Copacabana beach, and within walking distance to Ipanema as well. There are shops restaurants, bars, and everything just outside the door. I felt extremely safe. I only met Sergio very shortly as I only had 3 days in Rio altogether, but he was very engaged and enthusiastic about showing his guests what Rio is all about. I would definitely recommend his place to friends and family and will hopefully come back soon! Thank you Sergio!

C'est l'hôte parfait: il est soucieux, impliqué et sa sympathie est sans égal. De plus il est polyglotte donc nous n'avons pas eu de souci pour se comprendre. C'est un vrai Carioca et ses conseils nous ont été vraiment précieux tout au long du séjour. En ce qui concerne la chambre bleue, elle est parfaite pour un couple. Je le recommande!

  Comments: Sergio showed great hospitality from the very second we met him and untill we left- he gave us a very informative intro to Rio and even invited us to a local caparinhia class! One of the best hosts we have had so far, no doubt! The Suite has a great location 5 min walk to Cobacabana and a big supermarket is close by. Highly recommended!

  Comments: We loved our stay in Sergio’s apartment in Rio, Copacabana. The location was excellent! We could walk or take a metro to lots of places. The room was was very safe and spacious, with a big bathroom. It’s located in a gated community, but Copacabana and Ipanema are very safe neighbourhoods in Rio anyway. Sergio gave us some fantastic local tips that made our stay in Rio even better. He also has a water filter tap so we didn’t have to buy bottled water. We will definitely be back to stay again!

  Comments: Good Airbnb in a a great and secure location two blocks from Copacabana beach. It's also near a metro stop, restaurants, and bars. Sergio is a wonderful host and he has the best personality. You'll feel like you've known him for years. The communication between us was outstanding. Upon my arrival, Sergio pulled out a map of the area and gave me helpful hints on what to do in Copacabana. This information was very useful. The only negative thing is my bathroom was not clean. I'm sure Sergio will resolve this for future bookings. I would still recommend his Airbnb.

  Comments: My stay at Sergio’s apartment was phenomenal! Sergio was a very attentive and accommodating host with great knowledge about Rio. He had a lot of suggestions for things to do and places to visit. The apartment is tucked away on a small, private, and quiet street. The room was clean, comfy, and had a private bathroom. It’s a short walk to a metro station and is near the beach. There are also a number of restaurants and bars within walking distance. I would highly recommend Sergio’s apartment and I hope to stay here again if I ever am in Rio in the future!
