  Comments: Tout neuf, tout propre.. super bien localisé et à deux pas de la plage. Nous avons apprécié la proximité des magasins dont un bio. Près du sea life et du musée Serralves on a pu également visiter Porto via le vieux tram. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter...

  Comments: Location: We spent a great time at this location. It is located very near to the ocean; ready to go swimming every day and night. Also it is perfect for jogging along the coast. In walking distance is the surf spot for surfing lessons and there is a great long white beach. Along the coast are great restaurants and bars to get food. Right on the other side of the apartment is a very nice and tasty bakery, not to mentioned the horse-driven greengrocer standing in front of this bakery. The view from the balcony is much better, then you may expect from the pictures. There is a second view to the ocean to get a great feeling for the actual weather and the day. Apartment: The apartment is in BEST shape. Everything is brand-new! Both bathrooms are in perfect conditions and very spacy. Both have showers to walk in. Both sleeping rooms have TV and very big built-in wardrobes. The kitchen has everything, you would need, including sharp knives and nice dishes. There is a separated washing room, where you may dry the towels. Álvaro & Sílvia are doing a great job, keeping the apartment in perfect and clean conditions. The most important thing for the kids: WLAN is very good! Our favorite as a tip: Go with the 500-Busline to the "Parque da Arfandega" and rent a tandem at Viegiuni ( (Website hidden by Airbnb) start from there back to the coast to the little ferry boat "Flor do Gas", which takes only people and bikes, cross the Douro to the Gaia-side of porto. Take a bike ride along the river and the coast to the little "Capela do Senhor da Pedra" at the beach. Turn back the same way but go on further to the “Cais de Gaia”. Take a break on the roof of the "Porto Cruz" building. Afterwards, for a climax, go all the way up to the upper level of the bridge "Ponte Dom Luis I", cross the river. The rest is a piece of cake, rolling downhill back to the rental shop at the cost. Back to the apartment with the 500-Busline. Summary: We did not want to leave and would like to come back in the near future, if possible …

  Comments: Wir würden jederzeit in diese tolle Unterkunft zurück kommen. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet, hochwertige Einrichtung, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage der Wohnung ist gut, direkt an einem Supermarkt, Bushaltestelle sowie das Meer fußläufig erreichbar. Zum Surferstrand sind es lediglich ein paar Min mit dem Taxi oder Bus. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war super und unkompliziert, wir wurden persönlich empfangen und verabschiedet.

  Comments: Het was fantastisch in dit appartement en de locatie in de wijk! Het appartement was schoon, compleet uitgerust in de keuken en voldoende kastruimte voor al je spullen. De communicatie met de verhuurder was super. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er werd zelfs 1x per week schoongemaakt en bedden verschoond! Echt vakantie vieren daar! De wijk was heel netjes en alles in de buurt: bakker, supermarkt, restaurants en zelfs een paard met wagen met verse groente van de moestuin op de hoek van de straat. De bushalte is ook dichtbij en het openbaar vervoer is uitstekend. Porto centrum is snel bereikbaar per bus of taxi. Veel verschillende stranden zijn in de buurt. Ook aan de kinderen werd gedacht: spelletjes waren aanwezig. Super dit appartement! We komen graag terug hier.

  Comments: Appartement très confortable, lumineux et très bien équipé. Très bien pour un long séjour notamment. Situé idéalement, l'accès au bord de mer se fait à pied en 2mn. L'accueil de notre hôte était très chaleureux.

  Comments: Het is een prachtig appartement, ruim genoeg voor 4 personen. De zee is om de hoek en Porto is vanaf hier heel eenvoudig te bereiken. In de omgeving zijn diverse winkels en leuke restaurantjes. Kortom een aanrader.

  Comments: Das Appartement liegt in Foz in 2. Reihe am Strand. Es ist sehr schön eingerichtet, die Küche ist top modern, es gibt 2 Bäder und einen Balkon zum Meer hin, wo am Nachmittag die Sonne scheint. Das Wohnzimmer ist sehr hell. In direkter Nähe gibt es 4 tolle Restaurants, wo man preiswert sehr gut essen kann. Nach Porto läuft man 1 Std. oder man nimmt für 1,95-- den 500er Bus. Wir bevorzugen Foz, da es nicht so trubelig ist, direkt am Meer liegt, man aber imer nach Porto reinfahren kann, das ist optimal für Familien mit Kindern.

  Comments: We loved staying in Foz. The apartment is on the ocean and we enjoyed morning and evening walks on the promenade. There are grocery stores, restaurants and patisseries nearby. It's a convenient and beautiful bus ride into the center of Porto. We were well taken care of and enjoyed our stay.

  Comments: Porto first timers may end up staying in the center... as an emigree Porto native myself, I advise they aim for Foz instead, its "upscalest" neighbourhood, a little Riviera at the center of Porto's vaaaast and varied waterfront. This apartment is right in the middle of it, literally 2 minutes (walking) from one of many contiguous beaches, while 20 minutes from historic Ribeira and the city center (cycling on the waterfront, or by nearby bus) ; or with hours of walking or cycling near the sea and/or river, North and South (by catching a boat or crossing the D.Luis bridge), etc. The apartment is furnished in "IKEA style" of course, spartan but complete (no expresso coffee though:-( ), and everything was and worked as advertised, TVs, WiFi, kitchen machinery. The garage is very convenient to have (for a car or bicycles), although it felt a bit tight when parking a Nissan X-Trail; most rental cars of course will be easier to park. We'll return!
