  Comments: My husband and I stayed at mags chic Mosman apartment to break our journey from London to our home up north. We know the area all and love this idyllic Mosman street which is quiet but close to great cafes, shops and the beach. We loved the clean simple furniture and Mags was so easy to deal with. This is my first airbnb experience as a guest though I have hosted many times and we really enjoyed it. Hope to stay at Mags lovely apartment again sometime, totally recommend it.

  Comments: Mavis's apartment was charming, super clean and comfortable, and in a simply lovely residential part of Mosman with a five-minute walk to shops. The kitchen was well equipped, and public transport was 10 minutes away. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would gladly go back!

  Comments: A very easy, no-fuss booking experience. We used the accommodation for two nights as we had a wedding in the area. The location was perfect for us, and within easy walking to shops. The accommodation was great, and we would definitely use it again if we wanted to stay in the same area. We had our toddler with us (we took our own cot), and it was great to have a park and play equipment nearby. There was no microwave which would have been handy, but the kitchen is well-equiped to manage without it.

  Comments: We're local to the area and were looking for somewhere for our visiting in-laws to stay (as our place is just to tiny to fit everyone). We booked Mags' place and liked it so much we booked again a few weeks later. Mags was terrific to deal with. Great communication. Very accommodating. An altogether terrific host.   Comments: Mag's single bedroom apartment was located in a lovely quiet street in Mosman not far from Military Road. Everything in the flat worked well. It was very easy to access, being right at the front of the block. We had a car and thought we might have trouble finding a park in the street, but this proved not to be too difficult either night we were there. Thanks for your hospitality Mags.

  Comments: Mags was very efficient in her communications and made accessing the apartment smooth and easy. Location is lovely and quiet, close to shops and restaurants, as well as scenic strolls around Sirius Cove. Apartment is nicely decorated and has everything you need. Bed is especially comfy. Just one note of caution - it can be quite cold on overcast winter days, as there is only one small heater in lounge room. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

  Comments: What a fabulous little apartment in Mosman! We were down for a wedding and catch ups with friends and Mags' place was perfect. Check in and check out was simple. A bus stop, shops and cafes were a very short walk away and the apartment itself had everything you needed. Someone else mentioned that it was a bit cold with only a lounge room heater but there was actually an extra mobile heater when we stayed so we used it to warm up the room before bed and we felt really cosy. I would definitely recommend this apartment to family and friends and I wouldn't hesitate in considering staying there again for another Sydney trip!

  Comments: We had a lovely stay in Mags' Mosman apartment. It was exactly as the photos depict and absolutely spotless. The local area is residential with lots of lovely shops and cafés up on Military road. Balmoral beach was a 20 min walk away and circular quay a short ferry ride from south Mosman (the main Mosman ferry wharf was under re construction in September 2014 so was closed). Thanks Mags.

  Comments: We would like to thank Mags for her hospitality. The apartment was in a lovely neighborhood not far from Military Road. It was a about a 10-15 minute walk to Spit Junction where you can catch a bus into the city. We will refer others who visit Mosman and hope if/when we are able to return Mags' place will be available.

  Comments: The Apartment is in a great location, close to shops, and eateries. If you don't mind a downhill walk it is also very handy to the Ferry from Mosman. A small, comfortable apartment to stay in and well appointed. ( no microwave if that bothers you) . We loved our stay and it suited our needs perfectly. It was easy to organize with Mags.

  Comments: We had a wonderful visit to Mosman and the apartment was lovely. It was neat and tidy and the price was excellent. The neighbourhood is so nice with all the trees and was also very quiet. Parking was a bit of a nightmare but we expected that. The ease of booking and the communication with our host was seamless and everything was as described. We would definitely recommend this type of booking, area and our host.

It's a bit of a hike uphill to the shops but well worth it and the ferry terminal is just at the bottom of the street. Can't wait to come back again!

  Comments: Mags was friendly and communicative in her Emails but we had no personal contact. In fact ,we had become used to some personal touches from our airbnb hosts and this was somehow lacking.After a few days we grew more used to the apartment and could appreciate the functional new kitchen and bathroom. Even though the photos do show the apartment correctly, the actual feel of the place was very different to what we had imagined.In our opinion a few improvements would make a lot of difference.Stepping in and out of the bath for the shower could be a problem for someone with limited mobility. Mosman is a fantastic area to be in, beautiful tree lined streets with wonderful houses, shops and restaurants and the apartment is situated well for transport once you work out the bus and ferry connections.

  Comments: The unit was very easy to find in a lovely part of Mosman. Mags gave great instructions, always got back to us very quickly answering any questions that we had. Her place was true to the photos, it was very cute, clean and tidy and felt quite secluded. It was exactly what we were after and everything we needed was provided. We were in Mosman attending a wedding at Gunners Barracks, so we were very close to the venue. The unit is walking distance from lovely cafes on Avenue Road and we had a fantastic meal at Radio Cairo in Cremorne. The ferry is also walking distance but it is a bit of a hike up the hill, but great views on the way! All in all a very positive experience and very good value for money for accommodation in Sydney!

  Comments: We had a lovely 3 day stay at Mag's apartment in Mosman. The apartment was very clean, well appointed and spacious and provided for all our needs. The bed was warm and comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. This apartment is in a lovely area with leafy streets, shops close by and easy access to ferries and buses. We will definitely be back.

  Comments: The Art Deco, newly renovated apartment was meticulously clean, with new kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable airy bedroom, with french doors onto a front patio/balcony. We had a minor hiccup with not receiving the combination code for the door key, because the text message was truncated, but Mags was very gracious and patiently waited on the phone until we were able to access the key. All of this despite the late hour of our phone call! The apartment is in leafy, quiet Mosman, within easy walking distance of all the coffee shops & boutiques. Parking was on the street and we were able to get a park each night. It's a very short drive to Mosman wharf, to catch the ferry into the city. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend Mags' apartment as a comfortable home base for a short Sydney stopover.

The apartment was also extremely clean, beautifully presented with lots of character and was well stocked with the basics. The location is perfect - A short walk to military rd (fantastic cafes and shops), public transport (buses and ferry) and Balmoral (my favourite place on earth). Whilst we had limited contact with our host, Mags, she was very accommodating of us (travelling with an infant), proactive in contacting us a few time ahead of arrival to make sure we had the information we needed, and knowledgeable of the local area. In summary, we had a great time, loved the place and would definitely stay there again.

The apartment is exactly as seen in the photos and had all the basics that we needed for a short stay in Mosman, it was clean, had a comfy bed and good shower. (though we did notice hot water seemed to run out quickly) We didn't actually meet Mags and we missed the personal touch you often get when staying in airbnb accomodation.

  Comments: Although the pictures of the apartment were fairly accurate, we were unfortunately disappointed with the apartment. The apartment is in an old building and has been fully refurbished, but the net effect is that the rooms are small and dark with large gaps under all the doors. Also there was no wifi, which we were not aware of when we booked, and was disappointing - I think this should be standard for all rentals. The apartment was clean - but we did find old food in the fridge and freezer. Good location - easy walk to shops and ferry.

  Comments: Mag's accomodation is a beautiful art deco apartment in a quiet, beautiful location within minutes of the ferry which is a 20 min cruise into the city. Mags was extremely courteous and helpful in answering any queries or issues that we encountered, and everything was dealt with in a concerned and expedient manner, including one unexpected issue that was quickly resolved ( thanks Mags and James :) The flat was well fitted out and we would love to visit again. The street itself is extremely quiet yet within a short walking distance to shops, restaurants and good public transport. We also found the place had an ideal weather aspect and always attracted a nice breeze. Mags was a very efficient host from start to finish. We were sorry to leave and look forward to a return visit.

When the washing machine was in need of repair prior to our arrival, she let us know, suggested an alternative, and left a change of linens. The apartment was ready for us and was as described. It was simply furnished, but had everything we needed. We did not use the kitchen, so I can't really speak to that, but we enjoyed the deep claw foot tub, abundant hot water, and a good shower. The key lock box system was efficient and convenient. We enjoyed the quiet, tree-lined street and the short walk to coffee shops, food, and pharmacy. There is no wi-fi and cell connection was spotty. Overall, the apartment was a good choice for us.

  Comments: My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights for a kid free getaway! We loved the Stylish little apartment in a charming old block in Mosman. Beautiful balmoral beach is. 20 minute walk away - it's a good walk (not one you'd want to do with kids though) Balmoral is a stunning place to relax and swim! The apartment is a 5 minute walk to some great local food options and shops. Lovely quiet area but so close to everything makes is a perfect option!

  Comments: We have stayed in this apartment on 3 separate occasions, covering a period of nearly four months in total. Why? It is a spacious airy apartment, ideal for two people, well equipped and nicely furnished, and the landlord has been a joy to deal with on each occasion. The residents of the other apartments have always been friendly and welcoming which is a plus. The raison detrê of this apartment however is its location. Local buses and shops are a 5 min stroll, with the main shopping centre of Mosman a short bus ride or 20 min walk. Mosman has all one can want in terms of shopping, two small supermarkets, and delightful local shops where we have always found friendly and excellent service, unlike the UK. The library is ideal for wi fi should you need it. In addition there is a local free bus (2 min away) which will take you shopping, to Balmoral beach and Taronga Zoo. The Ferry stop to the City is but a 15 min walk or 2 min bus ride. We cannot recommend this apartment highly enough, for either a short or long stays. We will continue to return here as long as we are able, as it now become home from home.

  Comments: Mags' Mosman home is absolutely gorgeous. As a family of three is had everything we could possibly need. We were very comfortable and really settled in for a few months. This place is really more equipped for shortterm stays however. The big, soaking tub was really lovely and the leafy, breezy outlet was beautiful. The proximity to the local shops, park and waterfront at Mosman Bay made life really easy. The ferry wharves nearby were easy to walk to and connections very frequent for Sydney. The bus was harder to get- but by no means impossible. Balmoral beach is very close and we spent lots of time there. The bus stop to get the bus to the beach is a fair walk away- but worth it to avoid the nightmare parking situation in summer! Mind you- the drive isn't far at all, so if you get lucky that is the easiest option. The walk down to Sirius Cove dog beach is lovely and the swimming there is not bad either. You can continue your walk along the headline all the way around to Athol Bay for even better swimming or Taronga Zoo entry. We only had trouble finding a street parking spot maybe twice in almost three months- so that was pretty manageable I'd say. The Orpheum Theatre is delightful and the shopping on Military Road east was great. Beware there is no wifi, microwave or toaster! It's a bit like taking a step back in time. But we loved it all the same.

  Comments: This is the perfect little apartment to base yourself if you’d like to explore the local area or have commitments in the city requiring an overnight stay or two. This gorgeous place has character & charm with a warm and welcoming feel. It’s in a very peaceful and beautiful location.
