  Comments: Nous avons été reçus avec le sourire dans cet appartement magnifique et très grand . Malgré les difficultés de la route (car nous venions de Normandie), nous avons été reçus avec beaucoup de bienveillance et c'était un plaisir après toute cette route d'avoir l'impression de se retrouver en famille. Je recommande l'adresse tant pour le prix que pour l'accueil

  Comments: Mr. Thompson’s flat was comfortable, spacious, well equipped and adequate for our requirements. Overall, our experience was satisfactory, except for the fact we missed air conditioning in the very hot weather. The flat was as described, well maintained, orderly and clean including the bathrooms. However, it was quite a distance from the centre and even the local taxi driver had difficulty locating the flat. Our host, Thompson had readily agreed for earlier check in. His agent was Abilio; and although he didn’t converse with us in English, his friend (Paulo?) spoke fluently. On entering the house we were told the house rules, including repeated instructions NOT to touch the walls, which we all felt were quite unnecessary and frankly, rather unwelcoming . We were also instructed not to smoke inside, and despite interrupting to explain that none of us were smokers, our host insisted on continuing his spiel. Admittedly I had not done my homework well and was disappointed to discover there was no wifi (although this and the fact of no AC is mentioned on the website) which made communication and enquiries difficult as we normally depend on UBER taxi service. The nearest public transport was some distance, but this was not an option as we were travelling with our 2 year old grandson accompanying us. The neighbourhood was tidy and quiet but rather remote from the touristy areas, and probably best suited to a big group of music festival-goers who want to stay together in a large flat. In this context, the flat would prove relatively good value for money. I had mentioned to Thompson that we were travelling with a young child, however the flat was far from child-friendly – we had our work cut out to stop our curious toddler from playing with the numerous trinkets and decorations in the apartment. It wasn’t just the child, I myself accidentally knocked down some photographs from a shelf in the hallway trying to find the bathroom light switch in the dark. I might have caused some damage to the frames for which I apologise. If this is the case, I will pay for new replacement frames. In summary this flat is spacious, clean and cheap but has several shortcomings as highlighted above. Unless one has private transport and is able to tolerate the lack of aircon and wifi I would not readily recommended this flat for first time visitors to Porto and certainly not with little children.

  Comments: Nous avons vraiment apprécié cet appartement très spacieux, très propre (mieux que sur les photos!) et l'accueil très attentionné des parents de Mr Thompson. L'appartement est excentré mais à 10 min du centre de Porto ou des plages en voiture.

  Comments: Nos recibió Abilio, abuelo de Thompson, y su esposa. Ambos muy amables y serviciales. El apartamento es magnífico, incluso mejor que las fotografías. Ideal para 5 o incluso 6 huéspedes. Todo estaba muy limpio y magníficamente equipado. Estupendo aparcamiento.

  Comments: The stay very well passed! The apartment was clean, faithful to photos, and we even had the Wi-Fi contrary to what was specified in the announcement. We were received by the parents of Thompson, who showed us the place and showed themselves very available regarding our questions on the environment and the good restaurants of the place ;-) PS: it is better to have a car because the subway is at 20min on foot. I really reccomend this house !

  Comments: Para nosotros ha sido un acierto alojarnos aqui. Deseabamos estar cerca de Oporto y estar bien comunicados por carretera. Si a todo eso le sumamos que el apartamento estaba limpio, era soleado, en una zona tranquila y que nos atendieron estupendamente... 100% recomendable.

  Comments: Nous avons passé 10nuités dans cet appartement agréable, qui est plus beau que sur les photos. Très bien équipé avec tous les produits de premières nécessités (papier toilette, sacs poubelles, sels, ustensiles de cuisines en quantités....). Hôte très arrangeant sur les horaires. Les petits points négatifs sont : distance de l'appartement avec l'arrêt de métro le plus proche (20/25 minutes de marche). Difficulté pour ouvrir la porte du bas avec les clés.

  Comments: Una buena opción. Alquilamos la casa dos días, cuatro adultos y un bebé. Estuvimos muy cómodos. La casa es amplia, acogedora y limpia. A 5 minutos en coche de Gaia. El primer día nos perdimos y llegamos bastante tarde, aun así la persona que nos recibió siempre estuvo con una sonrisa en la cara, muy amable.

  Comments: Super appartement tres propre nos hôtes étaient très accueillants on était en retard de 2h30 à cause de l'avion et de la l'occasion de voiture et ils nous ont attendu je recommande vivement car il y a tous dans cet appartement chaque pieces une tv 2 wc une grande cuisine 3 chambre 1 grd salon 1 salle de bain .

  Comments: Nous avons été très bien accueillis par deux hôtes très gentils. L'appartement est vraiment bien équipé, lumineux, très propre et au calme. Il y a un parking devant l'immeuble, il est donc très facile de se garer. Les gens du quartier sont aussi très chaleureux et serviables.

  Comments: L'appartement est très agréable, calme très propre et très confortable. Il se situe à dix minutes en voiture des quais de Porto et à vingt minutes de l'aéroport. Il est également bien placé pour visiter les environs de Porto et dispose d'une place de parking privée. Il y a un supermarché à 1 km environ. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les parents de Thompson. Nous avons bien apprécié son appartement et cela a contribué à ce que nous passions un très bon séjour.

  Comments: Casa muy confortable grande y con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días. Todo muy limpio y sin problemas Lo único q esta poco comunicado de Oporto, como en un pueblo a las afueras. Al final íbamos en coche a Oporto y lo metíamos en un parking q es barato y algún día cogimos Uber que es muy barato también

  Comments: Notre séjour s'est très bien passé de début jusqu'à la fin. Thompson et son grand père nous ont chaleureusement bien accueilli, ils ont été à notre disposition en cas de besoin. je recommande fortement !!!

  Comments: Appartement super ! Très bien placé en voiture à 10minutes du centre et à 5 minutes de la Ribeira. Juste un peu de difficulté avec la serrure de l'entrée de la résidence, nous avons cru rester la nuit dehors mais au bout 30minutes l'oncle est venu à notre rescousse. Et ne pas faire tourner le lave-vaisselle pdt la nuit. Super grand, spacieux mieux qu'en photo, super marchés proche, point de vue, téléphérique, jolie balade sur les quais. Vraiment parfait ! Nous sommes ravis de ce séjour

  Comments: Alojamiento amplio y muy cómodo. Zona muy tranquila y con amplio aparcamiento, pero un poco alejada de transportes públicos y por supuesto de la ciudad de Oporto.
