  Comments: The codo is very nice, beautiful and spacious. Two bedrooms, which both stayed a decent temperature at night. Also has 2 AC units. Pretty cool balcony. I enjoyed staying on the balcony on my laptop and watching the sunshine or the rain falling. Washer/dryer were nice to have. Anke was extremely responsive to my calls, and even brought over garbage bags when we ran out. I also enjoyed the pool. The condo is within walking distance of a beach, which is nice.

  Comments: We absolutely loved the place! It has everything you might need during your stay. Close to the beach and a short driving distance (~10 minutes) to a number of good restaurants. Anke was super nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place for staying in Maui.

  Comments: This condo is amazing and perfect for a one week plus stay. It's very spacious and, with the two AC units plus the ceiling fans, can stay cool despite the hot weather. It's right across the street from the beach and kitty corner to 2 parks. It's also really close to a lot of good eats! It has a full kitchen and comes with cooking utensils which allowed us to cook and prep meals for extended days out (i.e. Road to Hana). To our surprise, the condo came equipped with beach chairs and a boogie board which we took full advantage of. It also comes with in-unit laundry and dryer as well as soap and dryer sheets! The resort is very quiet and the people who live there are respectful of quiet hours. You get to meet fellow travelers and residents in the pool / jacuzzi area which is also a plus. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. Just don't forget to bring your own soap and shampoo!

  Comments: Our stay at Kihei Resort was wonderful. The place was perfect for the 4 of us. The place was spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet and well located. The condo had many amenities such as the community pool and free guest parking and was situated 5-15 mins drive from many eateries and stores. The beach is walking distance away across the street and Wailea is only about a 10-15 drive away as well. Anke was a great host giving us all the necessary information we would need as well as checking up on us via message during our stay to make sure all was fine. Definitely recommend this place for travelers! In the heart of Kihei and close to the airport and other attractions.

  Comments: This is a beautiful place by a beautiful beach with great amenities, like hot tub and swimming pool. You probably don't need them though. Just walking across the street, you can snorkel in waist deep blue water, where I saw five turtles and a lot of fish. It is very safe for kids or people don't swim. The place provides enough towels so you don't need to pack them. Washer and dryer is conveniently located in the unit - not those coin operating ones. Anke is very nice too. We got a box of chocolate as gift when we arrived :)

The Kihei resort is amazing and very private and low key and relaxing. The spa and pool area is great at the end of a long day of adventures. I would recommend Anke and her property to anyone!

  Comments: This place has beautiful gardens and a nice pool and hot tub in a quiet community. We really enjoyed our stay and it was a very short drive to the south or north to get to great beaches. You can easily walk to the beach as well if you don't mind using the shoulder. We did a good amount of cooking and had everything we needed.

  Comments: Pros : Close to the beaches Quiet Beautiful garden Having own Washer and dryer Beach toys, umbrella, small surf board, beach towels, beach chairs provided Cons : Kids under 14 years are not allowed in the hot tub (The policy we received before we got to the condo didn't mention anything about kids not allowed to use the hottub) The sink and bathtub drains don't work very well Old and dated property Restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops are in driving distance (you can only walk to the beaches and one Korean restaurant that I wouldn't recommend anyone to go. Poor quality kitchen equipment (if you try to cut or cook anything, it will be challenging) I broke $40 blender and I got charged for $80.73 for it so don't break anything :) This place is ok but not if you have young children. It's more suitable for people without children, retired people. Oh, they also don't recycle or compost so if you have any environmental consciousness, it is probably not suitable for you.

  Comments: Anke's Condo was amazing! A beautiful two bedroom, walking distance to the water, and came with every amenity possible. Unfortunately, our flight was canceled so we did not arrive until the next day and our travel was extended. We were very nervous, because we thought we would have to arrange an extra night stay else where, but luckily Anke was very understanding and allowed another night. We could not thank her enough for her time and help. I would highly recommend Anke and her condo to anyone and everyone.

  Comments: This property has it pros and cons. Pros: Anke was very responsive and nice. The place is nice and clean. The condo is right above the pool which was nice. People there was very nice. Cons: It's a older property which was fine but the condo was old as well. AC units are on the top floor and middle floor but not in the middle bedroom. Which got hot in the room but it was humid when we stayed at. There was no sideway outside the resort which was not safe to walk outside. There were some bikers staying there as well which was loud sometime because of the bike. If you to want walk around in Kihei then I would recommend another place near the kamaole beach 1-3. Overall, it was a ok stay for us but my kids loved the place because they had the upstairs to themselves. Lol

  Comments: Anke's place is awesome, just as advertised. Mellow, low key and quiet. More over its beautiful and close to everything you'd need. Inside the complex it's like a little tropical village with plenty of greenery and birds gently chirping in the trees. Pool, hot tub, BBQ area,etc, etc. If you never left the complex you'd still have a great vacation! Outside the resort everything you need is close: supermarket, coffee shops, gas station. Great location to access roads for any point you'd want to go. Two thumbs up & 5 stars !!! I want to stay here again. Thanks Anke.

  Comments: This place really is across the street from a great swimmable beach (complete with a 500-year-old stone wall to hold off big waves), and is a twenty-minute walk to groceries, restaurants and other shops. Two bedrooms plus a futon in the living room, two bathrooms, laundry in the unit, full kitchen, and a closet full of beach equipment; plus, the condo's pool is twenty feet from the front door. Anke was great to work with; per her instructions, we let ourselves in, but when we had an issue with the shower (nothing broken, we just couldn't figure out the knob) she was over within minutes to help us out and say hi. Very recommended!

  Comments: The place is spacious and central to both north side and south side of the island. The bedroom does not get a lot of AC since it is on the opposite end from the AC wall unit. There is an additional AC unit for the loft so that helps. We really enjoy our stay here, check in was easy and everything we need are there.

  Comments: We stayed there as a couple for 3 nights. Nice apartment and a big comfy bed. Well equipped with everything one needs for a stay at a condo in Maui. Unfortunately the jacuzzi was closed the other night, so we only got to use it once. However, Anke’s place is not the cheapest in Maui, you get a lot for what you pay for.   Comments: Your host Anke is one of the most professional and promptly responsive owners you can only hope to deal with on your travels. The property is welcomingly quiet. Except for the grounds maintenance crew and their trusty leaf blower. It is far enough away from the regular hub-bub about 5mins further up the road where you will find all the shops, businesses, restaurants and resort/hotels. The beaches within walking distance are just ok. Nothing to expect from any Maui postcard. Great for a nice walk from the property to watch the sunset. Kihei Road is always busy, so watch for traffic when walking on the side of the road. Anke’s place has everything you will need. It is a very spacious, two level property with sleeping arrangements for numerous guests.

  Comments: Das waren paradiesähnliche Zustände!! Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön! Keine 3min zu Fuß - Straße überqueren - und man ist am Strand. Das Haus gehört zu einer sehr gepflegten Reihenhausanlage. Mit Pool und Jakuzzi. Es wird sehr auf Ruhe und Ordnung geachtet. Was wir sehr zu schätzen wussten. Die Unterkunft ist mit allen Utensilien ausgestattet, die zu einer Küche gehören. Dazu gibt es eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner. Anke hat uns super umsorgt, zur Begrüßung gabs u.a. Ananas, Mango, Pralinen und Kaffee(!!). Und auch sonst konnten wir sie ansimsen wann immer wir wollten und bekamen, spätestens nach 5min eine Antwort! Anke gehört zu den fleißigsten, gastfreundschaftlichsten und freundlichsten Menschen, die wir überhaupt im Leben kennengelernt haben, wenn wir auf Reisen gehen. Und wir reisen sehr viel! Danke Anke!!!! :))) Kiss&Huge!!! :)))

  Comments: Es war eine wirklich tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft von Anke. In der Wohnung sieht es wirklich so aus wie auf den Bildern. Super viel Platz zum Sitzen, Schlafen und für die ganzen Koffer / Klamotten. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und besitzt alle notwendigen Haushaltsutensilien, so dass das Kochen in der Wohnung kein Problem darstellt. Der Weg zum Strand und Meer dauert 1 Min, also eine gute Lage. Zur Anlage gehört auch die Benutzung des Pools und Jacuzzi, die gut gepflegt sind. Es gab keine Mängel oder defekte Sachen in der Wohnung.

  Comments: We had a great time staying at Anke's place. There was a kitchen, air conditioning and 2 bathrooms, which is appreciated. The home is a bit dated but is very clean and has the amenities we wanted. The home was also in walking distance to the water and had a pool as well. We were very comfortable here. Anke was great in fixing minor issues. The power to the loft was not working when we arrived and we could not find the cooler or hand soap. Anke had some dropped off and fixed the power while we were away after notifying us that she intended to do so. We appreciated her fast response. She left a little welcome basket as well which was nice after traveling. One disappointment I had was that the dryer was not working. I had to air dry and blow dry my clothes over night before flying out early the next day.

  Comments: Overall a solid place to stay, missing a few details (toiletries, spotty WiFi, beach supplies). I would not recommend it for families or anyone noise averse, but it would be great for couples or friends traveling together. There was a pesky rooster nearby that was constantly crowing, and the regular construction/lawn maintenance noise was fairly substantial. The upstairs loft is very pleasant and well furnished, but completely open to the downstairs area with no way to block sound or light (we knew this going in but didn’t realize how taxing that would be). The patio was great and we enjoyed being central on the island and the lot always had parking. There was a washer/dryer in the unit, which was a pleasant surprise, but the dryer wasn’t terribly reliable. The kitchen was equipped well enough for simple meals and it’s not too far from a grocery store!

  Comments: This is a perfect property for a small family with essentially 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths located only a couple minutes walk to Kalepolepo beach park where you can swim with sea turtles in a calm , shallow water environment. The property may have somewhat outdated decor but is well appointed and clean.

  Comments: Beautiful quiet tropical property. Walked across the street to a great beach that wasn’t too busy (saw turtles multiple times - plus). Easy drive to nearby restaurants. The beach supplies were just okay. There was really only one “good” beach chair. The rest were more like camping style chairs - we ended up rotating who got the good chair - not ideal. We were also disappointed that there wasn’t better seating for a place that hosts up to 4 guests. There wasn’t anywhere for all 4 of us to sit together and eat or play a card game comfortably. We loved the pool and the hot tub - it was never too crowded and just steps from the unit (we were here during a peak time - New Years). We also ate at the beach front Indian restaurant across the street which was nice. The unit is a bit more dated than the images portray. The AC units (one in the loft one in the living room) worked great but the downstairs bedroom does get a bit warm. Anke was very responsive whenever we needed anything!

  Comments: We had a wonderful stay! The unit has great access to the beach and is close to grocery stores and restaurants. The space had everything we needed including sand toys for our kiddo and beach towels and beach chairs/umbrella. We had an issue with internet service mid way through our stay and Anke took care of it immediately. The grounds are very well cared for and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The complex does not have recycling but we found a recycling center nearby.
