  Comments: Marcos had been most helpful, trying his best to make my stay a pleasant one even when he was away on holidays. The apartment was very cozy, the bed was especially comfortable and the place was warm even in the winter. Just opposite the busstop, with plenty of restaurants around.

  Comments: It was the second time I was renting a flat from Marcos. No surprise. Marcos is a great host. Always available if you need anything and making your stay as nice as possible. The flat is of perfect size with its separate bedroom and good living room space. The walk through dressing room is also very convenient. Plenty of room to put your stuff (which is not always the case in Airbnb flats in HK). Stanley is great, you'll meet people easily just by going down at one of the bars. I recommend Verns for their beers and Smugglers for the atmosphere. ;)

  Comments: We found the appartment as advertised on airbnb. The place is cosy, clean (for long time visitors: the cleaner comes once a week), and the location could not be better (5 minutes walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, Stanley market; half an hour by public bus to central Hong Kong). Marcos is a very nice and helpful person. He answered all our questions quickly both before and during our stay. He even came up with a few beach toys for our children and offered them participating in a tennis lesson for kids free of charge. Perfect appartment offering value for money, perfect host, perfect stay - thanks!

  Comments: Very nice flat, in the heart of Stanley village. Home away from home, the flat is very cosy. Thank you Marcos for your welcoming and your advices about Stanley. We could not have gas in the kitchen, but that was a minor problem given all the very nice restaurants around very very close, eg in Stanley plaza.

  Comments: Marcos gave very specific instruction on the location of the flat before our arrival via phone and message. Altough we made some misunderstanding about "the room on left side of the stair" , no one answered while knocking the exact door (with TV noise). And we found a key in the running shoe for the other room as instruction. That confused us. But he is warm and very nice after all. Except the air condition is a little noisy, the room is as comfortable as our home and extremely convenient, close to the bus station and shopping area,with a wonderful rooftop.

  Comments: We had a great time in Stanley staying at Marcos' flat! Awesome location... walk to both beaches and restaurants and shops and bars and the market and coffee houses and... well, everything! For trips to the city, the bus stop that takes you right to downtown Hong Kong is literally across the street and very easy to navigate. Marcos is a great host, very friendly and welcoming and there to answer any questions you have and/or give you great recommendations. Would definitely recommend.

  Comments: Marco's place …is simply perfect!! A very nice place for stay-cation! Located at a great location which allow accessing bars around pier, the beach and the market in walking distance. For the house, it's with artistic decoration and fully equipped kitchen! The rooftop makes the perfect place being incredible!! I enjoy my time there so much and would definitely return!!

  Comments: As a family of 4 (8 and 4 year old) we thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay in Stanley. The flat is in an excellent location, within metres of the town and the beach. There are a few flights of stairs to test out your fitness, we found them fine though ! The flat is basic, but very homely, so ideal for our young family. Our children slept together in the living room, which was good fun at their age, but did make it all a little tight on space. This wasn't much of an issue for us though as we spent most of the time outside. We'd have no hesitation on returning here in the future.

  Comments: This was my second visit. Marcos is a great landlord and keeps his word. It's on the 5th floor (no lift!) but Beautifully located in the heart of Stanley Market. Appreciate the new touches- slippers, umbrella and the garbage bags. Apartment is neat & clean. Looking forward to my next visit here on 01.01.2017.

  Comments: Marcos is a wonderful host. He keeps his word and completely trust worthy. It was my 3rd visit to his apartment which is conveniently located in Stanley Market. The flat is on the 5th floor and if you have a heavy bag like I had you can get a good workout! Marcos has added small touches since my first visit in early 2016 which make your stay comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and shall be back hopefully soon.

  Comments: This is a surprisingly spacious apartment for Hong Kong and, given how central it is in Port Stanley, it's actually pretty quiet. It has every thing you could need and is clean and well decorated. The only downside is that it's on the fifth floor - you need to be pretty fit and keep those suitcases light!

  Comments: Marcos's flat is located in one of the most popular spots in Hong Kong, Stanley. We were returning to HK after being away for 3 years, and this location was perfect for us. The roof top provides a lovely view of Stanley Market and the bay, and in the opposite direction a view of The Twins, one of the finest hiking spots on HK Island. Immediately across the street is the main bus terminus for transport to other areas of HK Island; a mini bus stand adjacent to the terminus whisks to Chai Wan to connect with the MTR (HK's subway/Metro system); 3 minutes away is a grocery, and in the market itself, there are numerous shops and restaurants along the water front. In short, this flat is ideally located. The bed was very, very comfortable, and Stanley becomes very quiet after the shops close around 6 pm, so we rested very well. We lacked for nothing inside the flat. I highly recommend this Airbnb! Marcos communicated with us frequently and was available if needed through our week's stay. He's very friendly and enjoyable to talk with, and he really knows Hong Kong!

However, this place not suitable for people who have leg injury as need to climb up to 5th floor~ we love the scenery and very cozy place to hang out during weekend!

  Comments: First: Marcos is a great host. Then: Conveniently located a few steps away from Stanley Market bus station & taxi station with lots of convenience stores within walking distance, this cozy apartment is ideal for young (5 floors to climb ;-)) couples with one kid. Having checked out late in the evening, we had the great surprise to find a full pot of ground coffee when we woke up. But the best surprise was: total silence at night, so we could really rest and enjoy our stay. Highly recommended.

  Comments: A great place right in the middle of Stanley. It had everything we needed and is spacious and well laid out for a Hong Kong apartment. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Marcos, but all the instructions were clear and he was quick to respond to questions and emailed us a few times to make sure everything was ok and we had all we need. Only down side is all the stairs, but that just helped work off all the dim sum.

  Comments: Marcos flat is a perfect location for being in Stanley - near market, beaches, restaurants, bus stop, supermarkets, shopping area. Some things need a bit fixing, but we where happy to see, that the damage after the typhoon hadn't been that bad as feared. The flat was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Marcos was a great host, very helpful with everything.

  Comments: The flat is a good basic flat in the middle of Stanley. We stayed there for 8 nights and then another 3. We cooked for our selves allot of the time but also out. Being placed in the middle of Stanley there is plenty of hustle bustle and a plethora of places to buy stuff, food, eat, drink etc. Additionally easy for the beach, the city and walks in the amazing Tia Tam country park. In short a good place for me to revisit an area of Hong Kong in which I was brought up. Marcos communicated effectively and clearly, he was helpful & kindly. We would come again if the opportunity arose.
