  Comments: Cesc, Elisabet's helpful and uncomplicated husband, welcomed us at the apartment and introduced us to the surrounding area and to their lovely flat, where we really felt comfortable and at home. The residence is perfectly placed in the centre of Barcelona (near Sagrada Familia, metro + bus stations), it's an excellent starting point for sight-seeing trips. Everything you need is nearby (bakery, restaurants, pharmacy, SuperMarket, some shops and public transport). The bedrooms are located in the backyard, and were really quite (only at the first night the neighbours were ab bit noisy; the following nights we slept with opened window without problems. The bathroom is small, but cute and functional. In the kitchen nothing lacked to our needs. For 2-3 person and some couple of days/week it's perfect, we would rent it again. Everythink went well.   Comments: We enjoyed our stay in this apartment, the space was cosy and comfortable. Within walking distance to lots of Barcelona's attractions and super easy with the metro station. The bedroom was quiet for a restful sleep. Elisabet was a friendly host, we would recommend the apartment.

  Comments: Thank you for sharing your apartment with us! It was very comfortable -- and perfect for our group of three. Elisabet and Cesc were very nice to work with. When we arrived (a little tired from the travel), Elisabet was very helpful in showing us the apartment. I found the larger bedroom great for sleeping -- back from the street and therefore nice and quiet. We enjoyed sitting in the living room together after a long day of walking and sightseeing. This was my first time using an airbnb apartment and I enjoyed feeling I was "at home" rather than at a hotel. I also really liked the neighbourhood. I felt that I was living among the locals and enjoyed picking up coffee in the local pastry shops. Although the apartment is located pretty close to the Sagrada Familia, I didn't feel I was in a touristy area. The apartment is very close to a couple of metro lines, and we used the metro a lot. It was fast and efficient -- and got us wherever we wanted to go in the city.

  Comments: Elisabet and Cesc are very helpful. The apartment is just as beautiful as in the photos. It's very well located in a safe area, close to sagrada familia and hospital sant pau. The metro is just 1 block away and we used that a lot. At night there are lots of delicious places to eat very close to the location. The only conns are the small bathroom, typical in this type of apartment, and 2 single beds in the bedroom instead of a double bed. It was very quiet at night. I recommend this lovely apartment :)

  Comments: Our experience at this apartment couldn't have been any better. Cesc arrived later to meet us and explained the area and apartment to us. All the amenities are there and we easily felt at home. The apartment itself is ideally located as there are very good travel links nearby (metro and bus) and it's also a 5 minute walk from the Sagrada Familia. I would highly recommend this place to stay - it was perfect!

Et quel plaisir, après avoir parcouru la Ville de long en large de se retrouver dans ce havre de paix qu'est l'appartement d'Eisabet (nous y étions pendant la deuxième quinzaine du mois d'août). L'appartement est véritablement idéalement situé, proche des stations de Métro et proche de nombreuses commodités (boulangerie, supermarché, restaurants).   Comments: My visit at Elisabet & Cesc's place was perfect to see any of Barcelona or just relax into the culture of the neighborhood. Elisabet accommodated me by letting me come early and Cesc took me to the airport 4 days later. Excellent food from coffee to paella and grilled meat and veggies all near by. The apt is clean and cozy with all the necessities. Very nice kitchen and able to do some laundry! Plenty of information with maps and I felt safe .... I hope to come back someday thank you

He speaks perfect English and was very welcoming and friendly, taking the time to give us a tour of the apartment and making sure we were well oriented in the neighborhood complete with a customized map showing all the local attractions as well as the nearest supermarkets. He also told us about a nearby cafe that was amazing! The apartment was super clean and looks exactly like the pictures - very nice place to stay. I would definitely stay again. And the location is absolutely perfect!

The rest of the flat is not tidy as the living-room and the bedroom are a bit poor of furnishing. It's worth for price/quality rate (i've paied 90 per night all included).

  Comments: Rustic Gaudi was very much as pictured. It is recently renovated, tastefully simple, and a very good base for exploring Barcelona. The apartment is only one floor up and there is a teeny lift we used to hoist our heavy baggage up and down. The neighborhood is excellent - all services you could desire. The apartment is surprisingly quiet for a city apartment. You are a five minute walk from the Gaudi Cathedral. We were met as promised so the entry was smooth. Something didn't work right with subsequent communication as we never heard back from the hosts to our email and messages while we were there but there were no urgent issues so it didn't adversely impact our experience.

  Comments: This was a very comfortable property! Cesc was a perfect host and we fell in love with the neighborhood! We were a little embarrassed by the cash tourist fee needed when we checked in but Cesc let us pay when we left. The place was nicer than the pics and we had a nice stay!

It is a very cozy apartment with two bed rooms and three total mattresses. The location is great, just down the road from the metro and the Sagrada Familia. We had a nice comfortable stay and couldn't have asked for anything more. Cesc was also very nice and gave us a map and directions and places to check out! Would definitely recommend this place!

  Comments: Ótimo lugar para ficar. Muito bem limpo bem (Website hidden by Airbnb) 2 varandas, ótima localização e 5 minutos do metrô. O anfitrião foi muito cuidadoso e muito prestativo, mesmo alugando no mesmo dia, com 1 hora de antecedência, o apartamento se encontrava limpo e perfumado. Deu várias informações do bairro com mapas e pontos turísticos. Ótima sala de estar, cozinha bem equipada e o quarto do casal muito bom com camas duplas unidas bem confortáveis, apenas usamos 1 quarto. Apenas não gostei de serem 2 camas unidas no quarto do casal, faz um pequeno vão entre elas. Bairro tranquilo e seguro, possui estacionamento a metros de distância. Parabéns pelo apartamento e pela recepção. Recomendo sem medo.

  Comments: We had a lovely welcome to the flat and the area from Cesc. We hadn't realised that we would be so central to some of Barcelona's fabulous buildings but ended up walking to many of them. All of Cesc's recommendations were spot on and that meant we could really enjoy a bit of Catalan life for a few days. The flat was very comfortable and had all that we needed. Elisabet and Cesc were on hand if we had any queries and were warm and friendly hosts. We would love to go back.

  Comments: Great cozy apartment very close to the Sagrada Familia but also in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for a couple of days of sightseeing and eating out. The beds are nice and firm, the bathroom is small but completely outfitted, and the place was incredibly clean. It might be more difficult for those staying longer who want to cook a lot at home. There is no kettle or major range of utensils. It's more of a perfect place for breakfast and afternoon/evening meals out, which if you're visiting Barcelona, you should do anyway. There's a great tapas place around the corner called Firo Tast. So good, and pretty reasonable! Also, I was visiting BCN with my dad, who arrived on an earlier flight than me, and Elisabet and Cesc were both very accommodating about meeting him when he arrived.

The apartment was exactly as described, well equipped and clean. The surrounding area was great, very handy for the metro and full of good bakeries and nice places for a glass of beer and a bit of people watching - there's a big supermarket very close too. We were in Barcelona for Primavera so it was great to have a nice homely place to relax, but we also had a few extra days to enjoy more of the city - a brilliant holiday and a great place to stay!

  Comments: Elisabet met us at the doorway to the apartment, over an hour late. We had trouble figuring out the buses, and didn't arrive on time. We had a cute little elevator, and the apartment was on the second floor, with little balconies front and back. We were able to make ourselves at home, and enjoyed the little kitchen, two bedrooms and the location was terrific. The apartment was clean, and relatively quiet at night. We felt good about being at the place, and Elisabet had reassured us that if we were to need something we could call. The apartment is furnished with linens and a towel each, and while simple and spartan, had most everything we could want. We enjoyed a lovely week there. We were not 5 people, and I would hesitate to put five people in, with two on the pull out, but it could be done. We loved the outdoor evening activities, so lively, within walking, and the close and convenient bus service that Barcelona offers.

  Comments: Die Unterkunft ist gut gelegen. Es gibt mehrere kleine Supermärkte, Shops aller Art und viele Cafés und Restaurants in der direkten Umgebung. Man geht nur 5 Minuten bis zur Sagrada. Selbst zu den Ramblas kann man gehen (dauert ca. 40 Minuten). Obwohl die Wohnung zentral gelegen ist, kann man nachts ruhig schlafen, da beide Schlafzimmer zum Innenhof hin ausgerichtet sind. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Kommunikation hat sehr gut geklappt.

Safe, lovely neighborhood with wonderful small restaurants, shops, bakeries, and markets right there. Great outdoor restaurant seating on tree lined boulevard. L'appartement est ravissant et fonctionnel ! les deux balcons sont un véritable plus ! l'appartement est également très bien situé, avec en bonus le parking en face de la porte, ce qui est assez précieux !

  Comments: Appartement très agréable à vivre et très bien situé. L'aération naturelle grâce aux deux portes fenêtres a été une vraie bénédiction en plein mois d'août ! Pour l'utilisation du parking en face, attention les grandes voitures (4x4..) ne rentreront pas et prendre une carte forfait 5 ou 7 jours, sinon le parking sera très très cher ! Voir avec le gardien très sympa qui parle anglais également. Quartier très agréable, Barcelone est à découvrir et à vivre. Nous reviendrons !

  Comments: Elisabet y Cesc son encantadores, la comunicación fue muy fácil y el apartamento era tal y como se muestra en las fotos. Fuimos a Barcelona por un viaje de trabajo tres personas y la experiencia fue inmejorable. La zona es tranquila pero tiene todas las comodidades cerca: supermercados, bares, restaurantes, transporte... Había toallas limpias para los tres y en general todo estaba perfectamente ordenado y limpio. La única pega podría ser que no había gel y champú en la ducha, algo que sería útil, pero en comparación con todo lo bueno, es algo insignificante. ¡Volvería y lo recomiendo completamente!

  Comments: Wir wurden sehr nett von von Elisabet und ihrer Familie empfangen und auch insgesamt war die Kommunikation und die Organisation der Schlüsselübergabe etc. sehr gut. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem Altbau und hat einen speziellen Charme, der mich etwas an meine Studentenzeit erinnert hat. Wir haben uns jedenfalls im Großen und Ganzen sehr wohl gefühlt.

La ubicación es excelente, todos los servicios están en los alrededores y está muy bien comunicado. Hay varios monumentos maravillosos a los que todos deben ir para hacer de su visita una memorable!   Comments: Hi! It is a pretty apartment. It is very quiet. It is close to the tube system and in walking distance of Sagarda familia and park guell and a great bakery. It is good value. But the bathroom is very small. The beds are OK for a short break. If you visit in winter you might be cold in the evenings and morning as there is no central heating and only little electric heaters. Barcelona is great!

  Comments: We loved our stay at this apartment! The Sagrada Familia is just a short walk away. There are tons of shops and places to eat, have tapas and drinks or dessert right outside your door. The metro is also very close which is helpful. It's a lively area but it was never noisy so it was a perfect combination. Elisabeth and Cesc were wonderful to work with and were so helpful. Barcelona is a beautiful city with so much to do! We cannot wait to come back and would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to visit.

  Comments: Elisabet and Cesc were really nice, the apartment was clean and in an area with a lot of cafes and restaurants to go for a meal or a stroll in the evening. Metro and bus stations are close by and in 15min you're in the centre. Also close in walking distance are la sagrada familia and Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site! Altogether we had a really nice stay and would definitely stay there again!

  Comments: Es un apartamento muy bien ubicado, desde el cual se puede ir caminando hasta la Sagrada Familia y muy rapido en metro o en bus al Park Guell y a la Plaza de Cataluña. La estación de metro queda a una cuadra. El apartamento está muy bien dotado, cuenta con closets, tendidos de cama y toallas, sillas, tv, sofas y todos los elementos de cocina necesarios. El wifi es excelente. El edificio cuenta con un pequeño ascensor lo cual es muy bueno si traes maletas pesadas. El apartamento ha sido remodelado, sin embargo, es antiguo por lo que huele a humedad y hace frio en las noches. La segunda habitación no cuenta con una persiana oscura, por lo que entra la luz durante la noche y queda hacia el lado interno del edificio por lo que facilmente se oyen los ruidos de los vecinos. Los dueños son amables, faciles de contactar y responden rapidamente a las dudas previas a la llegada por correo.

  Comments: Elisabeth's house was beautiful! In a great location. Only about 2.5 blocks away from the metro and a 10 walk from Sagrada Familia. It was also close to Park Güell. There's much to see, do, and way in the neighborhood. My only issue with this was at times the noise level was high. And the beds weren't very comfortable. They creaked a lot. Other than that this place is ideal for a weekend trip with friends or family.

Es gibt Supermärkte in der Nähe, Metro- und Busstationen und direkt vor der Haustür auch ein Parkhaus, und natürlich Restaurants und Bars.   Comments: Elisabet and Cesc were wonderful and helpful hosts. They answered all our questions and waited up for us even when our flight was delayed and we arrived very late at night. The apartment itself was clean and spacious enough for all our needs - the living room with the balcony doors opening up to the streets outside was our favourite. There were no surprises - everything was as it appears in the pictures. The location was great - a super short walk to one metro station literally just around the corner, and a five minute walk to two others. Good bus connections in the area as well. Supermarkets and bakeries right across the street, so we could wake up every day and go buy fresh bread for our breakfast. We would definitely recommend it to everyone looking for a clean, comfortable place in a central location.

There are metro and bus stations close by, which make moving around Barcelona really easy. There are taxis too, but riding the metro is itself a great experience.   Comments: This is a convenient location to explore Barcelona. Neat, tidy and cute, rustic as in description. We had four people which could be accommodated but it is more ideal for two or three especially as bathroom/toilet is very small. There was no spare toilet paper and we couldn't find the sheeting for fourth person but Elisabet and Cesc responded very quickly to all our queries and sheeting was provided within in an hour. Wifi access was really easy and good and this was helpful, flexibility was provided with leaving luggage in the apartment after check out time and hosts checked in to make sure we arrived and got in safely. There is lift access to the apartment but please note the lift is very small ie can only fit one large suitcase and one person at one time! Overall, it was a very good value stay and met our needs in a nice area and handy location to amenities, restaurants shops, tourist sites and public transport with communicative hosts in Elisabet and Cesc.

Their check-in time was reasonable, and when we got there, Cesc gave us wonderful recommendations for food, wine, and activities. We had no idea that we had booked this trip right in the middle of one of the biggest festivals in Barcelona (La Merce), and he told us of all the great free events going on. Elisabet even went the extra mile, and booked a taxi for us for our (very) early morning flight as we did not have phone service. We really appreciated their hospitality.

The train station is near Terminal 2. If u arrive in T1, take the transfer bus to T2B, U will find where the train station is.

  Comments: This is a perfectly located apartment in an historic building, which provided gorgeous hardwood floors, a beautiful brick ceiling, and natural air flow from the double balconies. The living room balcony opens to the street, with the accompanying street noise, which we loved during the day, and closed out at night. Because the main bedroom in this two bedroom apartment has a balcony to the quiet interior courtyard, we could leave it open for air without noise. The bed was pretty uncomfortable and wiggled on the frame with any movement, but there was a nice closet and a full-length mirror in the room. The kitchen is nicely laid out, as is the bathroom. The bathroom is a tight squeeze between the toilet and the cabinet, and the entry door only opens to about 15 inches, but is just fine for an average size person and the cabinet had enough space for our toiletries.

  Comments: Elisabet & Ceske’s apartment Is located nearby Sagrada Familia. There are loads of cafes, bakeries and places to eat. The Metro is about a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The amount of space throughout the apartment was perfect, with the exception of the bathroom, which was a bit small. We were there in November, so we very much appreciated the automatic turn on/turn off heat pump, which made spending time in the living/dining room area very comfortable. The kitchen facilities were fine. The bedroom was very comfortable when the portable radiator was turned on in the evening.

  Comments: Ich mag es absolut nicht, schlechte Bewertungen abzugeben, doch in diesem Fall bin ich gezwungen! Das war die siebte Unterkunft in Folge, auf unserer Spanienreise. Die Wohnung von Elisabet ist eine Absteige und das Geld nicht wert! Wir sind sehr enttäuscht und haben die Unterkunft nach einer Nacht verlassen, obwohl wir 3 Nächte bezahlt haben. Es roch unheimlich penetrant und durchdringend nach künstlichem „Jasminduft“, wohl von einem überdosierten Raumspray..! Grauenhaft! Die Wohnung verfügt zwar über eine Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer und über je einen portablen Heizkörper in den Schlafzimmern, doch war es nicht möglich, diese auf eine angenehme Zimmertemperatur zu kriegen, es war deutlich unter 20 Grad Celsius, für Februar ein NO GO! Die Sauberkeit allgemein lässt zu wünschen übrig. Die Küche war schmuddelig, die Frottétücher zwar gewaschen aber stinkig. Vorhänge und Sofaüberwurf haben ebenfalls schlecht gerochen. Überall viel Staub unter den Betten, in den Ecken und unter dem Fernsehmöbel, hier wurde, wenn überhaupt, nur sehr oberflächlich gereinigt! Auf den Fotos im Inserat wird geflunkert. Die Fenster im Zimmer mit einem Bett, der Küche, dem Bad und dem Entree gehen in das Treppenhaus, es gibt also kein Tageslicht und keine Luft. Was an dieser Unterkunft gut ist, ist die Lage und das WLAN. Zusammengefasst, ein Flop, nicht empfehlenswert.

  Comments: Die Unterkunft ist zentral gelegen und gut erreichbar. Die Schlüsselübergabe erfolgte unkompliziert nach detaillierter Anweisung unserer Gastgeber in einem nahe gelegenen Café. Die Wohnung war für unsere Bedürfnisse ausreichend eingerichtet und mit allen wichtigen Utensilien ausgestattet; die beiden Balkone liegen sowohl zur Straßenseite als auch zum ruhigen Hof hin, so dass gut gelüftet werden kann. Besonders toll fanden wir das warme Bettzeug (für verwöhnte Märzmenschen), nicht ganz optimal das quietschende Einzelbett, weshalb der dritte (erwachsene) Gast lieber auf dem Sofa übernachtete - was als Alternative super funktioniert hat. Zur Zeit ist nebenan eine Baustelle und daher mit Baulärm zu rechnen. Barcelona ist eine tolle Stadt mit tollen Menschen und lässt sich auch zu Fuß gut erkunden; unser Tipp: jenseits der Touristenattraktionen durch die Viertel oberhalb von Eixample schlendern und entspannen.

The location is central- takes less than 15 minutes to get to most main attractions by metro. The neighborhood is alive but not noisy, we felt very safe walking around. The apartment itself is just as expected- clean, quaint, and perfect for a group of four. Elisabet and Cesc we’re very responsive and helpful whenever we needed anything, and they also suggested some great places to eat nearby. Would definitely recommend staying here!

  Comments: Die Wohnung liegt nahe der Sagrada Familia, eine lange Fußgängerzone führt direkt hin und man kann in den unzähligen Cafés frühstücken oder abends mit Aussicht Paella essen. Besonders geeignet ist die Wohnung für 2-3 Personen, wir waren fünf und haben dann auch auf der Couch im Wohnzimmer geschlafen. Das war völlig okay, aber die Straße untern ist schon befahren, das sollte man wissen, wenn man gern bei offenem Fenster schläft. Die anderen Betten sind hinten raus, da ist es still und es gibt einen weiteren schönen Balkon. Wir können die Wohnung nur empfehlen!

It was pretty noisy for those sleeping on the sofa bed as there was also construction going on next door but it just meant we we up early to explore! The apartment is clean and cute, tiny bathroom but for a short stay its all good. Lots of things to do in the local area aswell as it being only 20mins away from the centre. Would stay again!

  Comments: This was my first trip to Spain. I found their place easily and loved that I could park rental car across the street. The apartment was comfortable and centrally located for all we wanted to see. Cesc met us in person to give us the key and shared great places to eat and see in the city. He shared extra tips about beaches north of Barcelona for later in our trip. I highly recommend this place for many nights in Barcelona.

  Comments: This place is a treasure. The location was perfect. We were near to two metros, there were little supermarkets all around, and we could see and walk to the Sagrada Familia as soon as we stepped out the door. Elisabet was a great host and very responsive through email. She graciously allowed us to leave our bags there early so that we wouldn't miss any time exploring the city.. The apartment is clean and adequately furnished. The kitchen and bathroom are small, as others have said, but perfectly adequate for our purposes. We didn't really prepare much food in the kitchen, but we did eat breakfasts at the apartment and had wine and cheese in the evenings. I highly recommend this place.

  Comments: Cesc was such an amazing host! He was proactive with communication, and responded immediately at all times. He even made suggestions on places to visit that were super helpful, and helped us decide on the must sees during our first stay in Barcelona! The location is so close to everything. This was key as taxis were on strike during our stay, and we took public transit everywhere. The bakery across the street, and the restaurants nearby were so convenient. La Sagrada was about a 7-minute walk away, we couldn't have been in a better location. We really enjoyed our stay, and highly recommend Cesc's flat!

  Comments: Viaje con mi esposo y mis dos hijos por una noche para conocer Barcelona y tuvimos la oportunidad de llegar al apartamento de Elisabet nos recibió su esposo y muy amable en todo momento, las respuestas rápidas y dispuestos ayudar el apartamento se encontraba muy limpio y amplio, el baño un poco incomodo y pequeño, el aire acondicionado refresca solo la Sala hacia los cuartos nada, por lo que para dormir hacia bastante calor, las escaleras para subir muy estrechas y el ascensor también por lo que si vas con coche Y niños pequeños para subir al apartamento puede resultar incómodo. La ubicación del apartamento excelente muy cerca de la sagrada familia, de la estación de metro y de la Parada Del City tour.

  Comments: This neighborhood was the best! Close to everything, but not overrun by tourists. We felt very lucky to have chosen the apartment from all the many choices available in Barcelona. The apartment is just off of a pedestrian street by Sagrada Familia. There were many bakeries and tapas bars to choose from and it was very easy to find great and affordable food. Because of this, we didn't use the kitchen once. Some reviews mention street noise, but that was not an issue AT ALL as the bedroom was set in the rear of the apartment and well off the street. We even slept comfotably with the windows open.

  Comments: I probably shouldn’t write such a glowing review as I’ll never be able to book this space again :) Elisabet’s apartment is the perfect family location. We were 6 people including two small children. The location was great, near several restaurants, pharmacies, and supermarkets, and of course Sagrada Familia. It is also very close to the subway system and there is a taxi stand around the corner. The apartment was clean and more importantly quiet at night. The host is awesome and communication was never a problem. Have no fear when booking this listing.

  Comments: We had a great time at Elisabet and Cesc's apartment! It was a perfect location as the shops and restaurants were close by. Sagrada Familia was also about a 10 min walk away and we enjoyed our nightly strolls around the area. The apartment itself was very clean and neat, and we had the whole place to ourselves. If you needed anything else, both Elisabet and Cesc was quick to respond! We will def recommend them to our friends!

The apartment itself is much larger than expected and felt really comfortable to call home. The location was great, short walk to La Sagrada Familia and easy access to the Metro.   Comments: Elisabet and Cesc's apartment is ideally located for any one wanting to tour Barcelona. We found the Metro station to be very convenient as it is around the corner from the apartment. Since we mainly walked all day it was always a pleasure to use the elevator to go up to the apartment at the end of the day. This is also useful when taking bags to your room as so few apartments seem to have elevators. The supermarket is only two blocks away and had everything we could possibly want. We had enough equipment to cook meals had we decided to but with so many wonderful little cafes we only ate breakfast at the apartment. The communication was great and prompt and all our questions were answered immediately. I would highly recommend this Airbnb for its wonderful location. We always felt safe in the neighborhood when we went out in the evenng.

  Comments: Such a great place!! Located smack dab in the middle of two UNESCO World Heritage sites, Sagarada Familia and the Sant Pau Hospital. We really enjoyed being able to walk to both and the nearby metro station which got us everywhere else. The place is very charming and quiet. The hosts are lovely and happy to make any recommendations for what you might want. We highly recommend!!!

  Comments: Elisabet and Cesc's place is just as advertised; a beautiful apartment with nice art and touches (amazing brick ceiling!!) and the perfect amount of space for a couple or even a group of 4+ friends! What airbnb doesn't tell you is how NICE they are, and how much thought they've put into making sure you enjoy their neighborhood and their city. They made wonderful local recommendations, and were super accommodating and flexible with check-in and check-out. The apartment is in a great neighborhood with some local-feeling places, and a quick walk to the famous Sagrada Familia. We ended up getting a multi-pass metro card and used it every day to zip down to El Born, Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, (Website hidden by Airbnb) if you don't mind the metro and like the feeling of coming "home" after a day of tourist attractions, this is the perfect place!

We were not aware there would be construction during our stay. The hosts were very understanding in helping us rectify the situation.

  Comments: This bright and cozy apartment in a peaceful neighborhood of Gracia was the perfect home base for our first trip in Barcelona. The apartment is a few minutes walking distance to two Metro stops (less than 5 minutes walk to L5 metro; about 10-minute walk to L2 metro). Cesc was a wonderful host who helped us get settled in and was super responsive to our questions. Would definitely come back for a future stay!

  Comments: Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans l'appartement d'Elisabet et de Cesc. Cesc nous a accueilli en personne et nous a donné des adresses locales et des bons conseils sur la ville. Ils ont été très arrangeants et accueillants. L'appartement et son équipement étaient conformes à leur description. Tout était propre. Le quartier était parfait pour nous qui voyagions avec un bébé car plus au calme. Un peu excentré si on veut faire le tout à pied. Sinon le métro est juste à côté de l'immeuble. L'isolation de l'appartement en terme de bruit et de température est conforme à celle en Espagne donc pas très bonne, mais sans surprise car c'est la réalité du pays. Merci Elisabet et Cesc !

  Comments: Such a great space beautiful and modern. Perfect for me and my friend! We met Cesc who was very nice and helpful. Front and back balconies are amazing too, view of street and then a private balcony in the back. All amenities provided! Location is good, right by La Sagrada Familia.   Comments: We arrived in Barcelona earlier than check in, so we found a great place called Barcelona Locker where you can drop off your luggage for a small fee to travel the city. We had great communication with the hosts, so finding the keys and the place was easy. The apartment looks like the pictures, and the location is great for visiting Sagrada Família and walking to restaurants. I loved the small balcony to view the city life. The bedroom was in the back so it was quiet. It was a little cold because it was winter (Feb.), but they had portable heaters in every room. They provide travel books and maps with recommendations. They are a quick phone call away if you have any questions. Overall, we enjoyed our first trip to Barcelona.

  Comments: Our stay at Cesc's and Elisabet's place in Barcelona was lovely, with everything we needed in the flat. The flat is accurately depicted in the images: modest, clean but compact. We had some trouble with the key on arrival but Cesc, despite it being 10pm, quickly came over to help reposition the lock, explaining that the issue was probably because the locks had been changed recently. We happily recommend Cesc's and Elisabet's place, and it deserves 5 stars. That said, you should know: - the location is fine for getting around and there are nice bakeries, restaurants etc. nearby but if you haven't been to Barcelona before and money isn't much of an issue, the Gothic Quarter is probably the best place to stay - the flat interior is nice but the building that the flat is in isn't great, just to manage your expectations! - everything in the flat is well thought out, which it has to be because of the small space. Just beware if you are clumsy like me! I was too heavy handed with some things but thankfully nothing was broken in the end
