Comments: This place is in a privilege location in Waikiki. In the middle of the town, walking distance from shopping stores, restaurants, bars, few blocks to the Zoo and only two blocks away from Waikiki Beach. The room, although little, is super confi. Also provides beach towels, snorkeling kits, beach chairs, boogie boards. Chris took really good care of us. He always respond fast and very nice. This place totally rocks and worth the price. We totally recommend it! Much Mahalo Chris!!

Comments: I did not meet the host during my stay. I only met the person helping the host. The helper runs the convenience store downstairs. There wasn't much of a problem checking in with the helper. The room was what I expected for the price I paid for that location. It was small but manageable with my wife and child. Kitchenette with refrigerator and portable stove top were definitely a plus. The bathroom however, specifically the bathtub, could probably use a replacement. I was a bit disappointed by the "continental breakfast." It was just convenience store made coffee and a choice prepackaged pastries like the donuts you see at a liquor store. I did appreciate the complementary beach items for us to use from the room, including boogie boards, snorkeling gear, beach mats and chairs. The location and price were the main reasons for my choice of stay. It's close to Waikiki beach and relatively cheaper than what I've seen in the same area. My overall experience was decent. Nothing too bad but nothing extraordinary. I would give it 3.5 stars.

Comments: Thank you Chris for opening up your studio to my daughter and her roommate. The accommodations were clean and convenient – perfect for their needs while they transitioned from their student housing to a new rental. I appreciate that you were able to handle this very, last minute booking.

Comments: Chris is a great host, he replies very fast. The condo location is great, literally 5 min walk to the beach, and 10 min to main shopping area. The parking is the only problematic area, it's at least 20$ per night, and there's only 10 parking spaces for over 100units of families, or you would have to park 2 blocks away. Overall, good experience. Thank you, Chris!

Comments: Though we didn't have the opportunity to meet Chris in person, we had a great experience with Kioki (the on site coordinator). The place looks exactly like the photos. The space is a bit small but the short walk to Waikiki Beach makes up for it. We were pleased by how clean the room was.

Comments: The room was really cute and good. Everything what we need was in the room. The host, Chris is really nice too. He always answer me quickly. But clean up of washroom was not enough. And I saw many cockroaches.

Comments: My stay in Waikiki was great! Chris provided very thorough information on how to locate and access the space. He was very quick to respond to my questions as well. The unit was clean and in a walkable location as well as close to bus lines. I definitely would rent the space again should I return to Oahu!

Comments: I very much enjoyed my stay here, it was clean with free Wifi, close to the beach, laundry on site and a convenience store on the bottom floor. There was even parking underneath for an additional daily cost. The check-in was smooth as well as the check out, very detail in providing exactly what to do. The room itself was great as I was there for a week, it would fit two comfortably but for just myself it was perfect! I very much recommend staying at Chris's airbnb as they provided all the basic necessities to visiting Waikiki!

Comments: The room was as described. Useful information was provided in the room. Keoki and security were very nice. The use of beach gear(Snorkeling gear, chairs, umbrella, etc.)was an added bonus! The buildings other tenants, residents, vacationers were pretty quiet. Close to the beach. Scooter/car rental near by.

Comments: Our stay at Chris was ok. Checkin was last minute on our part but Chris made it easy for us. .....The location of the Airbnb is great, just a 2 minutes walk to Waikiki and in the middle of Cafes, restaurant, shops, bus stations. That also means that it was pretty loud sometimes during the night, but especially in the morning. So bring your earplugs....Another good thing was, that there is snorkeling gear provided...... In the pictures the airbnb appears bigger than it actually is, more modern and cleaner. I would not title the Airbnb "clean". There was hair laying around, one day we had some insects, dust/dirt underneath the kitchen and the bed, old tub/doors/walls that didn´t make it seem hygienic....We have stayed for two weeks. Cooking was a challenge with two burners on the stove and a small kitchen. We couldn´t find all kitchen utensils we needed (e.g. saladbowl).... So there are both pros and contras. Depends on what you are looking for!

Comments: I thought the free coffee/pastry daily and free smoothie are great offers and enhanced our stay. It was great being able to use of chairs and beach gear. It is a fantastic location! 1-2 min walk to Waikiki! The apartment is a bit tired. I think you need to upgrade the bed or get mattress topper it is rather uncomfortable. Not bad for a couple nights, but 10 nights was too much. Also think you need to improve your cleaning service. There is no reason someone showing up at 10:30pm after an 11am checkout, should be arriving at a dirty apartment. Chris answered me instantly and remedied the situation. So no fault of his. If you want a very basic accommodation in an amazing location this place is great.

Comments: Save your money for mai tais on the beach and stay here! This studio apartment is exactly what a budget-conscious traveler needs for a stay in Waikiki. It is not a luxury room and does need updating. So if you're looking for fancy, pay $200 more a night and go 1 block up. However if you are looking for a place to rest your head (WITH AIR) after fun days checking out the island, this is the place. The location can't be beat. Cheap eats all around and easy walk to shopping, car rental and activities. The beach is literally 2 blocks down. The studio has all you need to eat in if that is your plan but we only used the fridge. The studio also has a tiny lanai with a partial mountain view. It's sufficient for a nice break to read or drink coffee. The minimart was great for quick drinks and a smoothie. And they even held our bags while we spent our last day enjoying the beach due to our late flight out.

Comments: Our first night was kind of a mess where we showed up late (can check in anytime after 2) and the keys weren't there - apparently the cleaners put them in the wrong box! We couldn't get ahold of Chris after calling multiple times and ended up having to walk to a Holiday Inn, dragging all of our luggage. When we finally got ahold of him, he was very apologetic and quick to rectify the situation to the best of his ability. He was a great host and overall, we would be so happy to stay here again! This place is in such an AMAZING spot! Literally walking distance to EVERYTHING! We're talking 2 minutes to Waikiki Beach, 8 minutes to the zoo, less than 10 minutes to countless restaurants! It's a great space! I wouldn't suggest more than 2 people as it is VERY small but it's really pretty! Definitely worth every cent! There's a small balcony to hang up wet swim gear (they loaned us snorkeling gear and boogie boards!) Which is super helpful! I wish there had been more towels (2 beach, 4 room) since we were there for a week but that's okay! We loved this place and like I said, we'd happily stay again! :)

Comments: Chris the place is great. It's only one block from the beach. It's very convenient. You want to go on vacation and swim. The bus stop is on the side, and there are many restaurants. The apartment is small, but the daily necessities are available. It's a good deal for the tourist. The toilet drain is not very smooth, so you need to press the button for a long time before you can work. This is a lot of trouble. Thanks to Chris, let's go into the apartment early.

Comments: The best thing about this apartment is the amazing location. It is at the heart of Waikiki and walking distance from many restaurants, beautiful beach parks, zoo, etc. The apartment is the same as seen in the pictures and for us was very nice because Chris has baby gadgets (crib, stroller, high chair) and also umbrella, bodyboards, beach chair… However, we had a major issue during our check in process. The keys were not in the lockbox as directed by Chris and it was 10 pm. We informed our late checkin since the beginning. We tried to reach him many many time and he didn't answer the phone. AirBnB solved the issue once we found a nearby hotel to sleep that night. It was a challenge because it was Friday, almost midnight, on a holiday weekend with a baby waiting outside. It took us more then 2 hours to find a place. The next day, Chris send a message with new directions, but it was wrong again - wrong key in the lockbox. We called again and his partner showed up with the keys finally getting us inside the apartment. The remaining days were OK. Airbnb payed our night at the hotel and Chris offered a discount - he refunded a little bit over the value of the first night that we did not sleep in his place.

Comments: Room was exactly what we needed, and the AC was great in cooling the space. It was nice to have access to an umbrella, and chairs for the trips to the beach. Chris was very responsive, and sent a nice note about activities happening in the city during our stay.

Comments: Location is great. Literally less than 5mins walk to the beach! There is a laundry room on the fist floor which is very convenient. Didn't need to use it since my stay was short and not sure if coin operated or not. Communication with Chris was also very good. However, as most of the reviews mentioned, the check-in process was a hassle and I had to be on the phone with Chris to get the right key to my room as the cleaners had placed the wrong one in the lock box. Hopefully, Chris will improve the check-in process in the future. I also felt the cleaning fee was a bit high for an old building with a bathroom in clear need of a remodel. In addition, there was cigarette smoke seeping through the bathroom window every day making it difficult to breath. Therefore, if you're allergic this may not be a place for you. I realize this is not the host's fault. I just wish the building had stricter rules about smoking on the balcony and enforced it with penalties.

Comments: Great location and price! Me and my husband were close to everything and the beach was only about a 5 minute walk away. His place was very clean and had all the necessities that we needed. The only complain would be the noise off the street in the morning, because it sounded like there was a garbage man passing by every morning and the pillows were too flat for my comfortability. Other than that we loved our stay and would recommend staying here!

Comments: The place was in central Waikiki which was perfect, it’s small but a place to lay your head. Bathroom could do with a serious revamp, it’s a well used apartment, a tad expensive for what it is but Waikiki overall is like that so can’t really complain! Muffins and coffee in the morning were a nice addition. Also very helpful with checking us in earlier, Chris was great to deal with!
