  Comments: Manuel has been an awesome host. He organized a driver who picked us up from the airport for 30 € only (a common airport shuttle would cost about the same for two persons). Besides he is a really friendly host and helped us out where ever it was required. The apartment was very clean and looks the same as on the pictures! The area arround the apartment is just perfect to explore barcelona. There is a grocery store just arround the corner with very helpful employees and you can walk within 15 minutes into the center of the city. However we can highly recommend this place to everyone who would like to explore Barcelona! Kind regards Ben & Tony

  Comments: L'alloggio è grande, confortevole e ristrutturato di recente. Si trova all’ultimo piano di un palazzo posto in una via tranquilla alle spalle della più movimentata Calle Muntaner. Nelle piccole vie intorno si trovano molti bar e ristoranti oltre al bellissimo mercato. Siamo stati solo due notti e Manuel ci ha accolto al nostro arrivo.   Comments: Manuel was a wonderful host - he is very responsive and reliable. When my family arrived to Barcelona, he offered transportation service from the airport to the flat which made it easy them during their first trip to Spain! The flat itself is spacious, clean and in a nice and peaceful area of the city (also accessible to the metro and quite central). All in all, the time spent in Barcelona was great and Manuel's flat felt like a home away from home.

The host was in permanent contact with us some time before our arrival. He oferred his help with delivering us from airport to the apartament. We can communicate with him in English without any problem. We are very enjoyed and we recommend this apartment and the host.

  Comments: Manuel is a very kind and accommodating host. Our family stayed in this this apartment for three months, with different family members leaving and arriving at different times, and he was friendly and helpful to everyone. When something needed fixing, he was there immediately with his handyman, who is also very sweet and helpful. The apartment is just like in the photos, though it is hard to capture how awesome it is to sit on the terrace and watch the birds and (on some nights) fireworks in the sky. The air conditioning is in two rooms, the living/dining room and the master bedroom. This was plenty for the time we were there, but I bet it gets hot in August in the smallest bedroom. The kitchen could use a few more plates and utensils, as a family of four ended up doing lots of dishes, but that is minor. The neighborhood is quite nice, shops and restaurants and groceries everywhere. The buses, tram, and taxis are at most a couple of blocks away, and the subway an extra block in the other direction. Very convenient and perfect for families. Thank you Manuel for a marvelous stay!

The place was very nice and clean. Ton of space for a larger group. Only setback was spotty wifi but could be an issue since there were 3 of us. Location was good with a lot of good restaurants just across the street and around the corner.

Es liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend mit den nötigen Geschäften und Cafes/Restaurants gleich um die Ecke. Es gibt auch einen schönen Park mit Kinderspielplatz ein paar Ecken weiter. Das Apartment war sauber , es hat alles gut gepasst! Wir konnten über die angegebene Checkout-Zeit ein paar Stunden länger Bleiben. Danke! Zum weiter empfehlen.

  Comments: The host was easily accessible. He sent a very nice representative to greet us and show us the apartment. It was very nice, warm and centrally located. The listing stated 5 beds and there were 5 beds but two were together to make a queen bed. This could of been clarified as the pictures from this one room was taken in two different directions that led us to believe that there were more beds. The apartment was well equipped. It was spacious and the master bathroom was very spacious. The apartment was clean and the ac worked very well. It had a nice balcony terrace. We enjoyed our stay very much. Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a place in Barcelona.

  Comments: We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. Manuel was an excellent host, kind, attentive, and very helpful. The moment we had an issue with the hot water heater, Manuel was there within minutes to resolve the situation. The apartment was exactly what we expected clean, modern, and comfortable for four adults and an infant child. The location is excellent and we felt very safe walking around the neighborhood. The only issue is that we decided to take the metro which is about a 12 to 20 minute walk depending on your stride and stamina. We had vehicles, but we lucked out with parking so we decided not to take our cars to go sightseeing. All in all, I would definitely stay in this apartment again! Muchisima gracias Manuel!

  Comments: Abbiamo soggiornato per sei giorni, in questo bellissimo, luminoso e silenzioso piso! Ben arredato e fornito di ogni confort, corrispondente esattamente con le foto e la descrizione dell'host. In un quartiere molto bello fornito di tanti negozi, ristoranti molto caratteristici. La vicinanza con la diagonal, e con tutti i mezzi di trasporto, lo ha fatto apprezzare ancor di piú. Manuel non abbiamo avuto il piacere di conoscerlo, ma in sue veci, Lucia é stata molto puntuale, gentile e solare, fornendoci indicazioni dettagliate. La consiglieró vivamente ai miei amici.

  Comments: Voilà un appartement conforme à la description. Son emplacement proche de la "Diagonale" est idéal pour partir rapidement à la découverte de la ville. Une bonne boulangerie au coin de la rue et un peu plus loin un petit magasin de fruits et légumes / produits alimentaires... Pour le parking si vous venez en voiture : à prévoir en avance (15 jours d'anticipation nécessaires pour un bon rapport prix/emplacement/disponibilités). Pour ce-faire, rendez-vous sur les sites de type (Website hidden by Airbnb) par exemple. L'accueil a été très bon et des amis ont déjà l'adresse de notre formidable séjour !

We met the girl who showed us around at the agreed time, however the check-in timing could be more flexible, she could only meet us at a specific time, so we needed to adjust to her schedule.

  Comments: Alle voorgaande reviews kunnen wij alleen maar beamen. Het is een keurig appartement met goede matrassen. Problemen met het rolluik en een kapotte waterkoker werden binnen een dag verholpen. De hop on hop of bus vinden wij een aanrader (2dagen gedaan). De halte (Placa de Fransesc Macia) bevindt zich op 300m van het appartement en wordt aangegeven door een bord met daarop Barcelona Bus Touristic (even zoeken). In de bus ontvang je oortjes en kan je in het Nederlands info beluisteren. Metro is ongeveer 15 min lopen.

  Comments: Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in Barcelona. Das Appartement ist sehr sauber und absolut ruhig gelegen. Hoch über den Dächern die Aussicht geniessen und auf der Terrasse frühstücken war ein highlight. Auch ist das Appartement sehr zentral gelegen und die Metro oder der Bus ist zu Fuss schnell erreichbar. Trotzt der späten Ankunft 23.30 Uhr hat uns Luzia freundlich und kompetent empfangen und uns den Schlüssel für das Appartement übergeben. Wir haben uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt und wir können Manuel nur weiter empfehlen. Besten Dank

  Comments: Great apt close to Gracia and Plasa del Sol, shopping. Not right next to a metro/tube station so a little (aprox 5-10 mins) walking is required but that is just great way to see the area and explore. Not right next to the tourist traps but where the Spanish live and enjoy life. PERFECT! We prefere that and really enjoyed the area and all that it had to offer. We loved the apt. Is just like it looks in the pictures. Great beds. Reccomended!

  Comments: Wow, during this trip we have stayed at several Airbnb places but this one was by far the best: we were met by Lucia, on behalf of Manuel. She is a warm, lovely lady who offered lots of great recommendations on restaurants and places of interest. The place itself was exactly as described and, in our recent experience, this isn't always the case. The location of the place is great with wonderful restaurants just opposite our apartment buildings and the main shopping street nearby. The apartment was so comfortable with great finishes and we found it really clean. I would definitely recommend this place if you are thinking about visiting Barcelona.

  Comments: 3 of us stayed at Manuel's during our visit in Barcelona and found the apartment to be a great size. Although not walking distance from the Gracia metro, the Muntaner tube station is easily accessible in addition to quite a few bus stops. The neighborhood is lovely and we felt extremely safe at all times, and also had a great choice of restaurants / pharmacies / supermarkets / shopping. Our flights were delayed and we really appreciated Lucia's flexibility in meeting us later.

  Comments: This flat is spacious , clean and well situated. Manuel ensures that everything is taken care of. We did some cooking at the flat and the equipment was good.The area has some good local shops and bars, and is close to the metro.. as well as being only 10 euros from most places in the city...if taxis are your thing. Buy tickets online for Gaudi exhibits as this will save heartache...but expect to spend if you wish to see it all. Recommended!!

  Comments: Casa magnifica, limpia, amplia y muy cómoda. Buena localización. Hemos ido con coche de alquiler y hemos podido aparcar sin problemas en los alrededores. A parte dispone de varios supermercados muy cercas para la compra. Con Manuel, todo genial, buena comunicación y sin ningún tipo de problemas y ofreciendo su ayuda para cualquier cosa.   Comments: Nabolaget virker trygt, hyggelig med restauranter og forretninger. Leiligheten har en fin liten terrasse der man kan spise frokost og sitte om kvelden. Leiligheten passer veldig fint til 2 par eller en liten familie. Leiligheten manglet skriftlig informasjon om teknisk utstyr og området rundt. Vi møtte aldri verten, men ble møtt av en kvinne som nok er ansatt for å ta imot gjester. Hun var hyggelig og imøtekommende. Jeg har kommunisert med Manuel via epost og fått svar på mine spørsmål.

Très agréable balcon, on imagine la Barcelone des années 30 avec les anarchistes qui se baladaient de toit en toit pour se battre (cf. livre de Kessel). L’ascenseur qui nous parle en catalan, c'est bien sympa aussi! Bref, un très bel appart pour un voyage professionnel ou en famille!

  Comments: Manuel's apartment off Montaner is a great stay overall! The apartment is clean, spacious and well-equipped. Although the location is slightly away from the city center, the neighborhood is very nice and has a great selection of shops, supermarkets and eateries. Our check-in/check-out experience was great! Both Manuel and his assistant went to great lengths to help us get acquainted with the area and with travel arrangements when we left. The only issue we had was with the WiFi that was not working 100% but I'm sure that Manuel has had it sorted out. Thanks for an amazing stay in Barcelona, we will definitely come again!

  Comments: Die Wohnung ist im 5. Stock, es wohnt keiner darüber. Das ist sehr wichtig, da das Haus sehr hellhörig ist. Die Wohnung ist hell und in der Küche sind alle wichtigen Dinge vorhanden. Es gibt ausreichend Platz, die Bäder sind ordentlich und zweckmäßig. Die Lage ist sehr gut: eine gute Bäckerei und eine große Markthalle sowie ein kl. Supermarkt um die Ecke, Bushaltestelle an der nächstliegenden Querstraße, Metrostation in ca. 10 Min. erreichbar. Restaurants und schöne kleine Geschäfte in unmittelbarer Nähe, nachts absolut ruhig (kein Verkehrslärm). Bei einem Problem mit der Klimaanlage kam Manuel sofort und konnte das Problem lösen. Er fragte nach, ob alles in Ordnung sei und ob wir noch etwas benötigten. Er organisierte uns einen Shuttle vom Flughafen und war dann wie verabredet an der Wohnung. Die Kommunikation lief jederzeit perfekt. Alles in allem ein schöner Barcelona-Aufenthalt und zu empfehlen.

  Comments: The apartment is in a quieter mostly residential neighborhood with some nice Cafes/Bars and boutique shops around. In fact one of the best Tapas restaurants that we visited on our entire trip (covering Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona) was just around the corner from the apartment. The nearest metro/train stop is about 7-8 min walk and same for the major bus stops, so if you're looking to spend a lot of time around the typical tourist neighborhoods (Las Ramblas, Gothic Quarter etc.) you will have to plan for about 20 mins travel time. Overall we found the apartment quite comfortable and reasonably well appointed and Manuel and Lucia were good hosts with a timely check-in process and good explanation of how to get around Barcelona for first time visitors such as us.

Die Ausstattung der Küche ist okay. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Sauberkeit, da der Boden recht dreckig und verstaubt war. Alles in allem würde ich die Wohnung aber weiter empfehlen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

  Comments: 1층엔 더블침대 2층엔 독방과 트윈베드룸이 있습니다. 집주인과의 대화는 빠르게 잘 오갔습니다. 수압도 좋고 뜨거운물도 잘 나왔으나 위아래층이 동시에 샤워기를 사용할경우 찬물이 나오거나 수압이 약해졌습니다. 집은 대체적으로 깨끗하지만 부엌의 가전제품들은 선뜻 사용할수있는 상태는 아닙니다. 동내도 조용하고 집앞 식당들도 맛있습니다. 슈퍼나 옷가게도 많으니 구경하시길. 택시운전사가 굉장히 좋은 동내라고 하더군요. 집앞 공원은 가볍게 산책하기에 좋지만 아름답게 꾸며둔 편은 아닙니다. 발코니쪽 활용을 기대했으나 테이블이 사용하기엔 좀 꺼려지고 뷰는 별로더라구요. 수건도 부족했던 점이 아쉬웠으나 집주인과 루시아가 굉장히 친절하게 체크인도 해주고 번거로웠던 일들도 처리해주어 무척 감사하게 생각합니다.

Upstairs bath is great. 1BR downstairs with twin bunk beds and a small full bath. Good family space, kitchen, and best balcony. Top floor 5 with easy elevator. Get a taxi in 10 secs outside.   Comments: We really enjoyed our stay, Lucia made great recommendations on local restaurants, night spots and directions to get us started at check in. Our only problem was that the Wifi was intermittent and did not always work, I think it was the DSL provider. Manuel was kind enough to send a taxi for our trip back to the airport. (He is correct it does save lots of time and was not that expensive.) We would come back.

  Comments: A group of three stayed at this apartment for 4 nights over the Barcelona Marathon weekend, and had a great time. The apartment is within easy walking distance of the Metro and local bus routes into the city centre. Also, there were some fantastic bars and restaurants nearby so it was a great location for a short break. Communications with Manuel were really prompt and when we arrived Lucia checked us in and gave us some local tips of where to eat etc. The apartment had plenty of space, was clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable, so we've absolutely no complaints and would stay here again if in the city.

  Comments: Check in was very easy. Lucia was great. She gave us some very valuable information regarding the metro, restaurants, and sightseeing locations. The place is a bit smaller than pictured, but it was extremely comfortable (especially the beds). It was a great, safe location. The place also has a washer/dryer combo that came in very handy. The WiFi was the only thing that was not working properly. Overall our experience was great!

  Comments: El piso de Manuel es más grande que lo que muestran las fotos. Tres dormitorios, dos baños y un balcón terraza ideal para tomar mate observando el atardecer. Luminoso, a trescientos metros de la estación del metro, en un vecindario elegante y rodeado de supermercados y restaurantes. Cuatro personas pueden estar muy cómodas. Absolutamente recomendable.
