We have kept the rustic charm to the front section of the house, with the kitchen and bathrooms being renewed. Our kitchen is well equipped with a gas stove, appliances and utensils. We also have a pantry of cooking essentials, an assortment of teas and Italian ground coffee. There are two rooms with this listing in our 110 year old renovated inner city terrace. The room is on the second level and contains a new double bed with advanced comfort and support, double wardrobe with polished original timber floors. The second room is the attic on the third floor and has skylights with views over the suburb and contains a new double bed with advanced comfort and support, and a comfortable chair to relax in the morning sun. Neighborhood Overview: Darlington is a small inner city suburb of Sydney surrounded by many trendy suburbs like Surry Hills, Glebe and Newtown, all with a great mix of shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and people. We are within a 15 min walk to the below; Arts: Seymour Centre and the Carriageworks, performing arts theatres, Attractions: Chinatown, Darling Harbour, Fish Markets, QVB. Markets: Eveleigh farmers markets, funky Glebe markets and Paddys, Food: @ Glebe, Newtown and Surry Hills. Pubs: Ask for a list.... how much time do you have? Shopping: Broadway, Central Park University: University of Sydney & UTS. The city is a pleasant 30 min walk or easily accessible by public transport.

Transit: •Darlington is approximately 2 klm's to the centre of the city. •3.8 klm's to Circular Quay and Sydney Harbour. •A 5-10 min walk to Redfern or 15-20 min walk to Central train station. •There are buses to the city 5 min's away at Broadway. •Sydney airport is 9 klm's. •There is off street parking or a parking station at the end of the street. •There are two shopping centres (Broadway & Central park) and another supermarket (Spar Redfern) all within a 10 min walk for any grocery or shopping needs.

Access: Please enjoy all areas of the house, relax on the lounge, turn on the TV or radio, enjoy a book or magazine from the bookshelf, prepare a delicious meal in the kitchen, there is also a tranquil garden to relax in out the backyard. * CHECK IN/OUT: We are flexible with guests arrival and departure times. Guests can arrive in the morning to leave luggage, or welcome to leave luggage for the day if they have an afternoon/evening departure.
