  Comments: This place was awesome. Huge space in a perfect location close to bars and restaurants etc. The owner was very nice and accommodating. Took me a while to pick out an Air bnb in NYC because they were all too "lived in" this one didnt feel like i was invading somebody's home. Kind of like a two story hotel- i loved it. Also great backyard

  Comments: The apartment is on the ground floor it's a 2BR-1B with a living room kitchen combo. One bedroom downstairs. It was very comfortable, newly remodeled, modern and Luis is a jewel (he even went so far as to go get us some canoli and sfoglitella from the best Italian bakery in Williamsbug when my Italian wife asked him about them). Fairly close to the L & M subway lines. Maybe 10 minutes to Union Square hub in Manhattan. Highly recommended.

  Comments: We had a great stay! The host was very flexible about check-in and check-out time, and made it clear he was available if we needed anything (we didn't.) Location was perfect, 5 minutes to L train into Manhattan, but on a quiet street. Spacious enough to sleep four friends very comfortably (two beds + two futon-style couches). We really enjoyed sitting out on the back patio as well.

  Comments: We arrived late at night, but Louis was waiting for us. He even showed us a place to buy dinner, although it was after midnight. The neighbourhood is great and you can be in Manhattan in 20 minutes. The appartemt was really nice and suited us well (2 adults and 2 teenagers). Louis was only a phone call away if we had questions and he popped by a few times to chek on us. Would definitely stay again.

  Comments: Sal was great! I booked his place to house two trainees coming in to nyc from las vegas for work and he was super helpful with meeting up with them to get the keys to the place. The apartment was great, located in a safe part of williamsburg, very convenient to trains, restaurant and bars! He checked in with the two ladies during their stay to ensure that everything was going well. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a friendly host and a nice place to stay in williamsburg brooklyn!

  Comments: What you see in pictures is what you get in person. It's a very nice, clean, and well-kept place. It was perfect for our party of 4 travelers. The location is really good - in the heart of Williamsburg. We had no problems getting to the Subway. We actually drove and parked our car, and Sal gave us suggestions that made it all work out. I'd recommend this place and Sal to anyone.

  Comments: Four of us had a great stay in the up and coming Williamsburg. There are a number of great bars and restaurants all within walking distance. There are also dry cleaners, laundrettes and supermarkets close by which is very handy on long stays. Sal was a fantastic host with a great sense of humour. He gave us loads of info and history about the area so we didn't waste anytime in finding the best eating places to fill our stomachs! The place itself is spacious, clean and has a wonderful backyard if you want to enjoy the warm weather privately.its exactly abs it looks in the pictures! The L train, which takes you straight to lower manhattan in 15 mins,is less than a 10min walk away. I would strongly recommend staying here if you want to taste the real New York. I'll definitely will be booking again next year!

He was very flexible on check-in and check-out based on our flights and once we arrived, was very helpful with tips on the area we were staying with (restaurants, supermarkets, metro, etc.). The area is really cool and very easy to live in. The flat is perfect. We were 3 people staying there. And we absolutely loved having the outdoor space.

  Comments: We didn't see Sal, but Luis, who wellcame us like a friend. The house is like the pictures, nice, confortable, the backyard is great. The neighbourhood is quiet.You can find all you need on Grand street, and the Subway is nearby. This place is perfect to visit New York. It's really pleasant to come back in a such quiet place after a long walk in Manhattan. Thank you Luis, we want to thank Niegel too who called a cab for us to leave at time, and thank you to Victor Emmanuel, who drive us to the Airport, our long talk was very nice. We recommend this address for sure.

  Comments: My boyfriend and I had a great stay at Luis's place. It was convenient to the L train, and had great access to shops and restaurants, but is set aside on a quiet street. Access to the outdoor patio gave a sense of privacy and an escape from the busy city! Luis was a super host. Friendly, helpful, and available to us, though not over present. The apartment is clean and has more space than the pictures seem to reflect. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

  Comments: We stayed at Sals place for 9 days. We were greeted and made to feel right at home by Louis, The place was exactly as seen in airbnb. Although pictures don't do it justice. There were 4 adults and we all had plenty of space. We had an amazing time and had everything we needed for a brilliant stay in NYC. The subway is 5 mins walk and 25 minutes to Times Square. Leafy suburban quiet street , friendly neighbours and plenty of amenities nearby. If you are up to it you can even use citibikes from the end of the road and ride across the Brooklyn Bridge into Manhattan. Cycle paths all the way. Checkin/checkout times were extremely flexible which really helped us as we arrived at 8am and didn't leave until 11pm but our host was fabulous and was waiting when we arrived and allowed us to stay later on the day we went home. All in all 10/10

  Comments: It was great to stay at Sal's place. Clean rooms, linens, easy to use shower and good bath tub. We had to check in after midnight, but he was very kind to guide us on the phone. There is a laundromat open til 10pm in the same block. I'd stay here again for next visit.

The bed's were comfortable, the apartment was spacious and clean and we had everything we needed (lots of clean towels, toiletries,etc). Luis was super helpful and friendly and available for any questions. The location is great, close to restaurants and nightlife. Would definitely stay again!

  Comments: Sal's apartment is a great place to base yourself for a New York break. It is very clean, comfortable and pretty spacious. We had a great stay there. Great location and Sal/Louie really flexible and responsive in terms of meeting your needs. Lots of places close by for breakfast etc and a great walk or easy ride into central NY. Only slight issue was the loud heating early in the morning, but it's just the system. Would recommend.

The heat got out of hand at night but opening the windows and having a fan in the bedroom surely helped.   Comments: Communication was excellent. We were met at the door and Sal (Luis) showed us around. The kitchen is stocked (sugar, coffee, some spices) and the refrigerator had almond milk and pasteles (a sort of Puerto Rican tamale). He made suggestions about local food--especially the very inexpensive and killer roasted chicken just around the corner. Also local are 2 big grocery stores and small stores featuring liquor, fruit, etc. The apartment is a short 5-6 blocks from the subway. We love the area. It's still the yet-to-be entirely gentrified end of Williamsburg, which means that the original neighborhood is still present while a few lovely coffee places are now available. Great new theatre in the other end of Williamsburg. For us--very exciting area. One future consideration is that the L subway will soon be out of commission for renovations, so if you don't have a car, you would need good bus directions. One other thought: the 2nd bedroom is downstairs with no window.

  Comments: Decent place overall with cleanliness and . Just a little bit of frustration with the lack of privacy. We understand the concern for potential issues for other guests misusing the apartment, but it is another thing to constantly check on what we were doing. The interference definitely made an impact on what was supposed to be a spot for us just to sleep in.

It was a hot day and we appreciated that he turned on the air before we arrived. Luis was extremely welcoming and great with communication! The house was sparkling clean and very well kept. The fridge was stocked with water, iced tea, beers, and various extras, along with plenty of coffee and tea. Everything was in working condition and beds were comfortable. Altogether, my family had another fun stay in Brooklyn while at Sal’s house. It’s within walking distance to all our favorite places in Williamsburg and Bushwick.

  Comments: Luis met us late in the evening as our flight was delayed. He showed us everything, gave us some local places to have a coffee or buy some food. The flat is clean, well equipped and very well located. Less than 10 minutes walk from the subway and then 3 stops to Union Square. We appreciated it a lot to leave crazy Manhattan in the evening and enjoy the quiet but lively Williamsburg area. We definitely recommend Luis’ place.

The appartment was clean, and we used the backyard quite a lot to eat breakfast. We recommend the place and would love to come back one day

  Comments: Our stay was excellent. The space was sparkling clean, private and safe. There was ample room and privacy for three adults (one married couple, one single person). Louis, who met us for an earlier than expected check-in, showed us the space, gave us tips for the neighborhood and offered any assistance we needed - if we needed it. Otherwise, we had the apartment to ourselves. We would completely recommend this space! Thank you so much.

  Comments: I can’t recommend this place enough! Perfect safe location to walk to restaurants, coffee shops and subway station to tour NYC! Sal and members of his family live & grew up in this neighborhood and are always available if you need anything! They are all very helpful and truly make you feel like this is your home away from home. Totally clean and updated space with a nice backyard to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of a great day! I can’t say enough good things about Sal’s hospitality, location or his awesome home! Thanks Sal — we’ll be back!!

  Comments: Williamsburg is a great location. The place is clean and has most everything you might need. A solid option. They are doing work on the nearby L train in 2018/2019, so research stoppages if you are counting on that transportation.

  Comments: This place was brilliant for our first trip to New York. We had great suggestions for local food and drink places from the host. The pace was very clean and the Beds were very comfortable. There is not a door separating the downstairs bedroom but this was not a problem for our group. A few helpful drink and food items left by the host made things easy when we arrived. Also appreciate being allowed to leave bags on the last day. Close to transport links also.
