Comments: I stayed at USA Stay's apartment for a little over 2 months while I was on a business trip in New York. Excellent location if you prefer a quiet neighborhood. There is quite a number of restaurants and shops close by and it is only two blocks away to Central Park. Public transportation is within walkable distance too. Please note that you will need to buy some necessities such as trash bags, shampoos and so on as this is not an apartment that someone currently lives in (more of a hotel style with an empty furnished room). Also the streets could be a little loud at night because it faces to Madison Avenue. The service calls were handled promptly. Check in and out were easy. Overall I enjoyed my stay at this apartment and would recommend it to anyone who prefers a convenient location but not right into midtown where the traffics are.

Comments: This apartment is perfect for one person or couples staying in NYC for a long period and looking to experience the real Upper East Side, with its beautiful residences, shops and restaurants. The location is prime, very easy to hop on a bus or subway and make it anywhere. Nightlife is not big around, it's actually quiet and nice at night. Dave from USA Stay was super nice and helped solving certain issues that came up. The communication was great. There's a little market and cleaners downstairs, which is super convenient, and a Duane Read/Walgreens a couple of blocks away. You'll be 1 block from Central Park and the apt itself is incredibly cozy. You'll feel at home. Thank you!

Comments: The location and service was outstanding. However, be aware that the apartment is old and therefore not well isolated. You hear traffic from Madison Avenue, your neighbours and noisy radiators. Sometimes the water will never get hot, forcing you to take cold showers. Radiators may not work on cold days. We stayed for two months in a nice location but the apartment disappointed us, especially when we considered the high price of our 2 months stay.

Comments: The apartment is located at UES, one block from Central Park and within close proximity within several museums (The Met, Guggenheim, Copper Hewitt). Nearest subway station is on either 96th street (6 train) or 86th street (4,5,6 trains). The apartment is on the third floor of the building. The neighbourhood is generally quiet with the exception of traffic noises and bus noises (there's a bus stop right below) but apart from that it's generally quiet at night. It's a cosy apartment, and has everything you would typically need. The small refrigerator works well, however do note that the freezer section doesn't work, so avoid purchasing items that require freezing. Wifi and cable TV works well too. I had no problems with the hot water in the shower, but do note that it does take a few minutes for it to get hot. Communication was great and the host, he was always quick to respond to questions or any problems. I found them incredibly communicative and helpful. I stayed for a period of two months. I am seldom around during the day as I am at work, and am usually only around at night. Overall I am satisfied with the apartment and my stay. Thank you very much!

Comments: We do NOT recommend to stay in this apartment for several reasons. First, there are cockroaches. First thing we saw upon entering were cockroaches in the kitchen area - without even having any food around or cooking. This was not properly disclosed before arrival. Although they sent somebody over who laid out baits, the roaches did not disappear. Second, (at least) two times there were unannounced strangers entering the apartment in order to look at it or to even take pictures. We know because we were at the apartment at this time. Third, the apartment faces Madison Ave, so it is rather loud. In addition, the windows are not well sealed so it gets cold/hot easily. Overall, considering what you get, the apartment is overpriced. In addition to get the key, you have to travel across the city to pick it up - very inconveniently.
