Comments: The apt is wonderfully quiet and serine even though it's in the middle of a vibrant, bustling, hip location since it is located facing an inner courtyard. The only sounds beside the soft murmur of the city was the occasional wail of a distant siren. The apt is very small but adequate for a couple. There is no elevator. We loved Tiger, the cat, and he kept to himself, but some visitors may be allergic to cats. Karen was very solicitous and kind. The bagels were a treat. The restaurant scene, two-blocks away, is world-class, whether expensive or inexpensive, great value: wonderful places to eat, drink and walk. Theater district is right there. We will definitely return...

Comments: Karen was a gratuitous host! We had everything we needed for our weekend in the city! Room was exactly what we needed to catch the Global Citizens festival in Central Park concerts on Saturday and Eddie Vedder at the Beacon theater on Sunday... Great places to eat near by! TV in bedroom had access to Hulu and Netflix, which was great because like to sleep in and watch TV in the mornings... Will repeat again! Thanks for everything Karen!!!!

Comments: Karen was very welcoming. Her apartment is in a quieter part of the city which was nice and only a short walk from all the main action.

Comments: Karen was extremely helpful, and her place, though very small and tight, was quite comfy. I just have to remind myself that this is Manhattan and not some sort of 5star hotel, space is limited and everything was developed hundreds years ago, so didn't expect anything out of ordinary NY living. Karen is a GREAT host! She made sure me and my wife had everything we needed and practicality had the entire place to ourselves. Thank you for allowing us to crash at ur place Karen! :)

Comments: This apartment is in a great location. Just outside of the hustle and bustle of the middle of the city, but close enough to be able to walk anywhere and everywhere with ease! Just a few blocks away from the public running path along the Hudson, which will take you up to Central Park, made this location a plus for me, being an active runner. Karen is a great hostess and I would recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in NYC!

Comments: Karen's place was very cozy and cute, perfect for our short stay. There are essentially two rooms, a kitchen/dining and a bedroom, which was fine us. The place was clean and well kept. The bedroom contains a TV with Netflix and other apps, which was plus. Karen was kind enough to provide plenty of bottled water and even bought us cereal and milk. She was also very communicative and quick to answer any of my questions. Though it was not awfully close to the subway, you are a 15 min walk to times square. Overall, lovely stay and a friendly host.

Comments: Exactly as advertised. Karen was wonderfully responsive and helpful with any questions I had. There was a little work being done during the day in the building (or in the neighboring one), but as I was out for most of my time in NYC, it wasn't a problem. While it was noted, I totally missed the fact that there was a resident cat in the apartment's description (note to those who are allergic), but he kept to himself and didn't shed as far as I noticed:) Karen left me her entire apartment, which was wonderful! I definitely recommend Karen's place to those who want a quiet night, about a 12-15min walk from Times Square:)

Comments: This was my wife and I's very first Air Bnb experience and it was the best outcome we could have hoped for. Karen was helpful from the moment we asked to stay in her place, to even after we left as she returned something we forgot. Her place was extremely clean and cozy, and has a really friendly cat who only comes around every now and then. The bed was so comfortable .. lol. The area is perfect, you can literally go up one block and you're on a street with so many restaurants. (5 Napkin Burger is amazing. Otto's Tacos are perfect for a late night snack.) Central Park and Times Square were only about a 15-20 minute walk, and the surrounding streets were really quiet. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a short, comfortable, fun and inexpensive NYC stay. Thank you for everything Karen, you're a great host.

Comments: Part of me doesn't want to write thus review. I want to keep Karen's place my secret. I hope to be able to be Karen's guest and over with no competition. But in fairness to Karen and Tiger I will write my review. Karen's place consists of the most comfy bedroom and a big bright kitchen. There is no living room, but not missed. The bathroom is interesting, separate spaces for the commode and shower but it works. The neighborhood is so interesting, and has great restaurants!

Comments: Karen’s place was in a great location. Close to everything we wanted to do and see in NYC. Simple and equipped with everything you’d need for a short weekend in NYC. Also, her cat Tiger is the sweetest cat or even animal my boyfriend and I have ever come across. We loved him! We would honestly come back just for Tiger ❤️.

Comments: My boyfriend and I had an excellent stay at Karen's place. We didn't get to meet Karen, but she was very friendly, communicative, and hospitable. Her place was clean and had all the amenities that we needed. The location is unbeatable if you're looking to get a more touristy NYC experience (right next to Time Square and Broadway, very walkable to Central Park), which was perfect for us because it was my boyfriend's first time in NYC. We had an amazing time staying at Karen's! Her cat Tiger was a special touch. We loved him, and I usually don't like cats. We miss him already. :) Thanks Karen and Tiger!

Comments: Very clean. Small but served its purpose. Definitely can’t have more than 2 people. Limited privacy as shower is separate from the bathroom (which only has a toilet - the only sink is in the kitchen).

Comments: This was such a lovely last-minute find! A little snug, but very cute and with nice surprising touches like free sparkling water in the fridge. The check-in/check-out process was extremely convenient and easy and Karen was always very communicative. Also, we fell in love with her cat, one of the sweetest and cuddliest I've ever encountered.

Comments: Karen’s apartment is located amazingly close to the ideal tourist attractions. Within minutes of Times Square but near enough to local amazing eateries you are spoiled for choice. Tiger the cat is a star and we became best friends of course! Walking around New York City is so easy from Karen’s and she can recommend great places. The local pizza joints are super, links to transport fantastic and also near to uss intrepid museum if that “floats your boat” Everything provided for you quirky apartment always felt safe and the neighbors are lovely. The key pick up is super easy and literally takes seconds to collect and drop off. Out from the deli turn left and 1 block left again you are at the apartment. Amazing stay amazing host Thanks so much! Love from London
