  Comments: Teresa was very welcoming and took time to explain whatever was necessary and answer questions about Porto. The apartment was very nice - just like the photos. When I mentioned that the apartment hadn't warmed up as much as I'd hoped, she had an additional heater brought by within hours. The location was so easy, a block and a half from the waterfront restaurant scene, and almost as close to one of the train stations. We were really happy with our stay!

  Comments: This is a very good location for exploring Porto. The studio is excellent - close to all the important city attractions as well to good restaurants and bars. Teresa is a great host. Although we did not meet her personally she made sure that we have everything we need plus we got excellent advice for what to do and see in Porto.

  Comments: We have had an excellent stay in this apartment. It is situated just a few steps from the lively historic heart of the beautiful city of Porto. Most of the things you'd like to do are within walking distance: a lot of cultural highlights, shopping, bus/metro/train and of course many Port-houses. The apartment sits in a somewhat old building which is a contrast to the apartment itself. It has been nicely renovated and has the comfort you would want. It's spacious for a stay with two people. Most of the interior is new and functions properly. This is complemented by nice (and some antique) decorative details. A pleasant surprise was the smell of freshly baked bread every morning in the staircase. The downstairs neighbour is a bakery where you can get good and cheap bread and your morning espresso. We have had contact with Teresa through AirBNB, she has been helpful and kind. Tim welcomed us with a gastronomic surprise and even a list of suggestions for our stay in Porto. They are a very hospitable and helpful couple! Thank you Teresa and Tim!

The flat is very nice furnished, well equipped an next to a lively street direct in the city centre. We enjoyed our stay and would like to comeback somewhen.

  Comments: This place is awesome!! The location is great. Just a couple of mins walk downhill to Cai da Riberia on the river and all the great restaurants and bars there. The flat itself was spotless and spacious. Perfect for the 2 of us. Teresa's partner was there to meet us it 12.30am. Let us in, showed us around and offered us a small glass of port and a pastille de nada as a welcome. Very nice. The bed is extremely comfortable too. Always a bonus. Loved this place! One small drawback was the noise of passing partygoers in the small hours as the flat is on the a bit of a thoroughfare but seriously not a real problem as the bed was so comfortable we just dozed straight off again. The owners checked in with us via test several times over our 3 day stay to make sure we had everything we needed and were all ok. Can't fault it. We had a great time here. Hope to come back and stay here again sometime very soon

  Comments: Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Tim, l'ami de Teresa, qui nous avait préparé du Porto et des pasteis de nata! L'appartement est exactement conforme aux photos, très agréable, spacieux et bien décoré (le lit est vraiment très confortable, bravo! ). L'appartement est idéalement situé à côté de Ribeira et des quais pour les balades nocturnes...Nous reviendrons avec plaisir à Porto, cette ville est magnifique.   Comments: We absolutely loved our stay in Porto. The appartement is very well located and beautifully furnished. Also, it was very (!) clean and tidy and the kitchenette is well equipped. Teresa's friend waited for us in front of the house and it was a warm welcome - they even had prepared a small surprise! Thank you so much - we would love to visit again!

  Comments: Tim's apartment has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is great just a few steps to the river over which life goes on:) Tim was still available for us. He provided every essentials - for example feeding chair for my lilltle one:) We were greeted with a glass of Porto and delicious sweets which was very nice suprise;) I can certainly recommend Tim as a hoster!   Comments: very nice place, in the heart of the old Porto. Tim is really reactive if you have any problem and really nice. It was sometimes difficult at night because of the noise of nightlife outside especially because we had a baby, but then you are in the center so that's normal.

  Comments: El apartamento era tal cual le esperábamos. Amplio, luminoso y limpio. Tim ha sido un anfitrión genial, nos facilitó todo lo que necesitamos, y eso que viajamos con dos bebés, y tuvimos que solicitarle dos cunas. La zona es totalmente céntrica, a unos pocos metros del Duero y una gran variedad de restauración. Hay supermercado cercano. Si tuviéramos que ponerle una pega, es que al estar en pleno centro, el barrio es un poco ruidoso, pero bastante llevadero.

  Comments: Tim's place is clean and located in the heart of the town where is very convenient. He was very helpful and nice to greet us on our arrival. The main Bed is quite big which seems unusual for Europe.

  Comments: Vivre dans une ville comme Porto directement au centre, là où "les choses se passent" est pour nous un atout primordial. Un appartement situé plus centralement que celui-ci serait difficile à trouver! En plus, l'appartement est pratique, joliment meublé et agréable à vivre. Tim s'est avéré un hôte parfait, agréable de contact et la communication aussi bien avant que pendant le séjour était parfait.

  Comments: Great flat, great location and perfect communication! The only thing that could be disturbing at the moment is the renovation of two flats below us, but we managed to slip when it was too loud. Other than that (and for the time the renovation will have ended), we highly recommend the place!

  Comments: Fidèle aux reviews précédents, Tim à très bien fait son travail ! Présent à Mon arrivée, il m'a Briefé sur le logement et laissé un plan e la ville avec un document d'incontournables (une bonne valeur ajoutée). J'ai trouvé très agréable de trouver un linge de bain et divers échantillons de toilettes (bon pour voyageurs à bagage réduit). Jouant le jeu, j' en ai laissé à mon tour quelques uns. Dans l'entrée de l'immeuble se trouve une boulangerie, ça laisse des odeurs de pain très agréables le matin.

  Comments: Fantastic location just steps from the riverfront with all the cafes, restaurants and cruises. Very spacious studio with very high ceilings. Very comfortable and a big and comfortable bed as well. Had a small issue with some noise from the street as late night revelers make their way home, and then some in the morning since there's some construction on a building nearby, but that's city life. Tim was fantastic at communicating and left a nice packet of recommendations, and even loaned me a phone charging plug after I left mine in Lisbon. Thanks again Tim!

  Comments: This place was great. Best part was location! So close to everything. Easily walkable, but expect some hills. Wonderful view of the river, not loud at night, mild construction in the morning but we slept fine and woke up early to explore anyways! Comfortable accommodations and very helpful host. He gave great recommendations. Would stay again no questions asked.

  Comments: The proximity to the Praça Ribeira, the Sao Bento train station and the Ponte de Luis pins this studio in the center of Porto. Perfect for young travelers that like to walk the city, and have a cozy place to relax afterwards. I really enjoyed the Nespresso machine with the complimentary cups. Please note that since the studio is located in the heart of a touristic area, nights can get very noisy.

Tim put a list of suggested places to visit in Porto including a resturant called Miss Opo - we had the best food and experience there and wouldn't of known about it if it wasn't for Tim.   Comments: A estadia na casa foi muito agradável e o Tim um anfitrião muito atencioso. A casa é acolhedora, limpa e tem o essencial para fazer refeições. Muito bem localizada, no entanto, sendo um local de grande movimento a casa ganhava se tivesse mais insonorização. Comércio diverso acessível, cafés, minimercado, restaurantes e lojas de souvenirs. É sem dúvida uma boa escolha para quem queira visitar o centro do Porto e estar junto a tudo.

  Comments: We walked in, and my first thought was that this place was HUGE! Such a difference from the tiny apartment where we stayed in Lisbon. My girlfriend was so happy to be in a spacious, stylish place, I think she'd consider moving in if she had the choice. Tim checked us in efficiently and helped us carry the luggage in. There is an elevator, and while it worked most of the time, I think there were one or two times it didn't. My girlfriend's only other minor complaint was that there wasn't a big bottle of conditioner. I thought the place was great and an ideal location for our short visit in Porto.

  Comments: Tim’s spacious apartment in Porto is very well situated in the city for enjoying what Porto has to offer. The large windows open to a view of Porto’s life, and within very easy walking distance are 3 shops where you can pick up whatever you need for your daily routine. There’s even a coffee/bake shop below the apartment where you can quickly pick up your morning’s breakfast. When we arrived in Porto Tim was there to greet us, and was kind enough to take us to a parking facility within short walking distance to the apartment. All in all, Tim’s apartment was one of the best ones we stayed in while visiting Portugal for 3 weeks. And I would have to say it was due to this that Porto was our favourite city!
